Integration processes improve but scripting requires effort
The updates, pricing part, and upgrades to the products are some of the most valuable features with the Salesforce Platform. With the Salesforce Platform, I have minimal experience of approximately one and a half years. I get minimal exposure, once every three or two months, especially during holidays. The Salesforce Platform is connected to the cloud, which is beneficial. When it is integrated with different tools such as Microsoft BI Analytics, it helps us analyze much better. Currently, the integration itself is tricky as we have to use extensive scripting. It should be more of a plug-in and use solution. That is the only issue I see, but otherwise, I appreciate it.

Pros

"Key features include security, decreased development time, responsiveness, cross-platform."
"It helps us quickly develop mobile solutions for our clients, plays an important role in the digital transformation of our clients, accelerates existing processes, ensures compliance, and meets enterprise security standards."
"he solution has improved over the years and the inputting of opportunity information is done a lot better and the GUI is good. The ability to customize dashboards and other elements was useful, we were able to move things around, for example, the forecasts. Most of the cells and input places were set, but we can customize the view and what we were looking at, such as on a daily, or weekly basis."
"You can put your clients' names in there along with their contacts and the opportunity for sales with them."
"We have hundreds of users all across our company, it is being used extensively in our organization, and that's how we run our sales here."
"The solution can scale."
"It is a good product, and it has served us well."
"I like it because of the fact that it lets me know what I'm working on and what I've recently worked on. It also helps me and allows me to do tracking. If I want to go out and find out how many times I've touched customers, I can find that information out. It tracks such information, and we use it. If we send any type of promotions out, it tracks who gets those promotions and how they've responded to those promotions."
"I like using the reports feature, but also the fact that we are able to have a smooth process when it comes to leads and opportunities."
"The tool's most valuable feature is the CRM. Salesforce Platform comes with out-of-the-box capabilities."

Cons

"There is a need for API-based development which offers completely customized functionality."
"There is a need for API-based development which offers completely customized functionality."
"There's a learning curve. It was a bit hard to understand the logical way of working with it, just at the beginning."
"I feel like some things are overly complicated for no reason, as there are much simpler ways to achieve the same goal."
"Salesforce is a pretty cumbersome product. It's a product that you need to spend quite a bit of time customizing to your unique business model. Unless you have somebody in house that knows it really well, you're better off spending money with a consultant to get what you need."
"The initial setup is rather complex."
"The UI needs to be improved. As developers, we can manage it, but for end users it's not very attractive in the workshop."
"The cost of data storage is an issue once the company grows."
"When we're documenting information such as notes, and so forth, if we were to go back to the same case all notes go missing."
"In Salesforce, every customer is unique and it's not possible to bundle them together effectively if they are from the same company or move companies, et cetera."
