Reliable unblocking services have supported seamless access to protected web pages
The main use case for me is utilizing Bright Data's unblocking services that allow me to receive the whole protected web page via a simple API call. It is quite easy to use and reliable, which is important for large businesses. This is valuable to my organization as it is one of the main proxy providers I use in my projects and in client projects, wherever possible.

Digital lab collaboration has transformed how we centralize, share, and template experimental data
The best features Revvity Signals Notebook offers include the significant difference between it and paper notebooks. Now we can get all the data in one single computer from several users. We changed our mindset, and now we can compile all the data from several projects. This feature has helped my team and made our work easier because we can work in a more efficient manner, and we also save a lot of time because we can use templates for experiment creation, allowing us to avoid repetitive tasks. Revvity Signals Notebook has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to work together across several sites. My company has two sites in different cities, so now we can work together and compile all the data in one place. We can work on one experiment across different sites of the company. I am unable to share specific metrics or examples, but I can say that this cross-site collaboration is very useful for us.

Pros

"You need to set it up properly, and it does most of the work for you."
"The solution's most valuable feature is its mobile proxies."

"The platform is scalable and works well with large projects. I have not experienced any issues with scalability."
"The configuration was very easy, and the documentation was generally clear and direct."
"So it can handle, like, scalability and reliability during high data demands."
"The most valuable feature of Bright Data in the last few months has been their customer support and the availability of filters. Their customer support is responsive and helpful, especially when I needed a custom data set. The filters they offer are also great because they save time by allowing us to exclude unwanted data before pulling the full dataset."
"From my experience over the last fifteen months, the most valuable feature of the Revvity Signals Notebook is its ease of use. Customers appreciate that updating templates is straightforward and everything is automatically saved. The UI is simple, making creating, sharing, and searching experiments easy. Different scientists can reference each other's experiments seamlessly. It is also swift compared to other vendor-built software, where you have to customize templates and write a lot of code. Revvity Signals Notebook excels in this aspect, making it smooth and efficient."

Cons

"The product could be more user-friendly for beginners."
"The solution could be improved by simplifying the setup process for new developers, as it can be complex for those without experience. Making manual settings easier and enabling a one-click setup would help bridge this gap. Everything else about Bright Data is fine."
"Bright Data could improve its user interface and dashboard to make it more user-friendly. I found it confusing and hard to navigate initially, and even after using it for three months, I still struggle sometimes to find what I need. It would be helpful if they could enhance the presentation and organization of their dashboard to make it easier for users like me to access and manage data effectively. Learning to use Bright Data may take a few days due to its current usability challenges, but it's manageable. However, realizing its full capabilities might take longer due to navigation difficulties and lack of clarity in data presentation."
"One area for product improvement might be the interface's complexity for students who need more coding experience."
"Bright Data could significantly improve its support service."
"The dashboard was a bit too technical, and even with my technical experience, I had a hard time."
"The problem with the tool is that it is not big enough...It is not that user-friendly."
"The main reason we left the product was that it was very expensive. They need to adjust their packages according to who uses them. They're very expensive compared to the market, probably because they believe they're the best. But it's too costly for companies like ours to continue with it. Another issue is that their support team is a bit slow."
"The workflow implementation is a pain point for customers because it relies on Spotfire with added plugins, which are not natively integrated. This makes execution slow and less effective in meeting all scientific workflow needs. Additionally, the support service is slow to respond and resolve issues. Even known problems take time due to a lack of astrong developer support team, making it a significant product drawback. They also need to work on other products like Workflow, which still need to achieve these compliance requirements. While Signals Notebook is good enough to meet all the necessary needs, other products like BitLocker still need improvements to become fully compliant enterprise products."
"I trust the Signals support team regarding collaboration and data security, although I am not entirely certain about the security of Revvity."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I got a type of free access, but it was through a referral from my friend. I got some credits free from the tool's end."
"Regarding pricing, we paid about 1000 dollars monthly for Bright Data. We started with their pay-as-you-go plan, which was expensive as we were charged per GB. Then we moved to the 500 dollar package, then the 1000 dollar package. We considered the 2000 dollar package they introduced recently."
"Compared to other proxy servers, Bright Data's pricing is quite reasonable. I"
"The product pricing is reasonable for its features."
"I think the pricing is fair, if it is used in a business. The pricing model might need some adjustments if I am using it for a personal purpose, especially if I use it for a month or two."
"I don’t think the solution’s pricing is expensive."
"The product has average pricing."
"Bright Data is not an expensive tool compared to its competitors."
