Centralized control effectively manages devices while updates require powered-on systems
I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR for the grooming industry. It is primarily utilized for the office environment The features I find most effective for threat detection include centralized control policy distribution and the control of independent devices, such as printers, laptops, and desktops…

The CREM feature is an absolutely essential feature that helps us meet security requirements
Since we started using Trend Vision One, we've been able to enhance our security posture significantly. Trend Vision One has improved significantly over time in providing centralized visibility and control. It started as a set of individual products, but now it feels like one integrated solution. This reduces the need for interfaces or multiple analysis tools. That's why we pursued the one-platform strategy. Trend Vision One has definitely helped consolidate our use of security vendors. We previously used standalone products for endpoint and email protection that weren't integrated. Now, we get the benefits of an integrated solution. I'd estimate we're 50–70% better in security now than we were two years ago. The Cyber Risk Exposure Management (CREM)feature is absolutely essential. Even though we're not critical infrastructure, the NIS2 directive gives us security guidelines. CREM helps us meet these requirements. It is very important to our organization that Trend Vision One integrates AI into the platform. Pattern recognition in forensic data is no longer manageable by humans due to the volume of events. Machine learning is essential to process these and filter what needs human attention. Trend Vision One has improved our organization significantly. Security tasks used to be manual. Now, technology prevents issues or supports staff in detecting them. This shift from manual to technical solutions greatly increased our security. Trend Vision One has reduced the time we spend detecting and responding to threats. I'd say we're 80% faster than before. The platform gives us consolidated data upfront, so we don't have to search for event clues manually. Trend Vision One has helped reduce false alarms. I'd estimate a 50–60% time saving. We have more alerts now than years ago, but also better systems to handle them, making the whole process more efficient. Trend Vision One has helped reduce our cyber risk overall. We now know where gaps are before they become problems, whereas in the past we had to guess. That's a massive improvement. When it comes to operations, the CREM solution helps us identify vulnerabilities in systems. If we patch them, they disappear from the reports—this gives us actionable insights, which is incredibly helpful. It took about half a year to realize the benefits of Trend Vision One after implementation.

Pros

"The setup was easy."
"It is easy to scale and it is suitable for organizations from small businesses to enterprise."
"The initial setup is easy."
"Go for Bitdefender GravityZone EDR without any second thought."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is easy to use and simple, meaning it's not much complicated."
"It is stable."
"The most valuable features are the anti-malware and firewall policies. The runtime scans and execution have been beneficial to our business."
"GravityZone can be controlled from the cloud."
"Trend Vision One's most valuable feature is its centralized console, which provides comprehensive security features, including attack surface risk management."
"The proactive approach is the best feature."
"The solution is stable."
"Drilling down further, we can analyze how our users are utilizing their workstations, including the websites they visit."
"I love everything about the solution, especially the XDR features, the attack surface management, and the workbench alerts. It oversees vulnerabilities among the system and devices, prioritizing areas that need patching."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Vision One is response management; when there is a malware issue, we need to isolate the endpoint, which I can do through response management. I"
"The solution is very easy to use."
"We haven't had any issues with configurations or customizations."

Cons

"The one thing that we are missing and want to see is user analytics. So, that is what I'm really interested in: behavior analytics and end user behavior."
"Areas for improvement would be performance and pricing."
"For many, the problems come mostly when they start tweaking or short-cutting - particularly for patch management."
"We would like to see password management integrated into the solution because I don't like having a third-party password management system."
"They should include the Hebrew language for its technical support in terms of communication."
"The one thing I'd say about their complete MDR product is that it's too expensive, which is why I prefer to use an alternative SOC and integrate Bitdefender to a different SOC on their own."
"Technical support could be faster and more responsive."
"The graphical user interface for EDR could be improved."
"Trend Vision One has some usability issues."
"There isn't a lot I'd do to change it. The web interface could be improved to sort of make it a little easier to manage multiple clients out of one location. It could also be made a bit easier to sort of manage the licensing side of it."
"Reporting could be a little bit better. They are working on it, and it is getting better."
"In future releases of Trend Vision One, I would like to see improvements regarding role-based access control, as it is important to ensure that when granting admin access to a person, their visibility is limited to only their respective markets. For example, while creating roles for countries like France, Germany, and Italy, they should only manage their own endpoints to maintain privacy and security."
"The reports lack detail and customization options, particularly for XDR, which hinders our ability to provide tailored reports to clients."
"For XDR threat investigation, there is not enough documentation about how to search for different keywords."
"Currently, there is nothing specific that needs improvement. Their support is very cooperative, and they provide an educational portal for learning the solution. However, deployment could improve by considering customer environments that are not fully updated."
"Vision One could improve its area networking and email security."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is a fully functional trial that we used and we didn't have any issues."
"Licensing is done on a yearly basis and it's workstation-based."
"There are some differences. It's more cost-effective, yet it provides the same functionalities as Defender. That's why I've been exploring the comparisons. We pay for it annually, and it's a per-seat payment."
"Price-wise, Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is a bit expensive in the Philippines."
"We take the subscription. Only we're taking that GravityZone and protection of the environment and the system. We didn't subscribe to the detection response."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra's pricing is competitive in the market."
"There are different packages available that vary in terms of licensing fees."
"I rate the product's price a four on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high."
"They've introduced a credit system, where we purchase credits and then allocate them to the specific services we need active."
"The pricing for Trend Vision One is reasonable."
"Trend Micro XDR is expensive, and you have to pay for it yearly."
"It is very good. The flexibility to temporarily exceed license limits when setting up new devices is helpful, as it allows us to ensure security before purchasing additional licenses."
"Trend Micro solutions are very expensive compared to other solutions. Even though everything is in one console, each feature requires a separate license."
"Trend Micro's licensing is outsourced to third-party vendors, resulting in price variations depending on the vendor."
"I do not have much visibility to it. It is definitely not a cheap product, but to my knowledge, it is out there with the big wigs in the industry, such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and other EDR/XDR vendors. I had heard, and found out eventually, that their sales teams are very flexible, as more sales teams are."
"I find it to be a cost-efficient platform."
