Centralized control effectively manages devices while updates require powered-on systems
I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR for the grooming industry. It is primarily utilized for the office environment The features I find most effective for threat detection include centralized control policy distribution and the control of independent devices, such as printers, laptops, and desktops…

Customization capabilities allow clients to autonomously deploy policies
There are a few areas where Trellix Endpoint Security ( /categories/endpoint-protection-platform-epp ) can improve. Firstly, the high CPU utilization when agents are installed can negatively impact client systems. Another issue is with end-users outside the network, where the agent handler sometimes fails to deploy the product properly. Improvements are needed in forensic analytics to detect specific vulnerabilities. It would also help if detection specifics were identified more quickly and the problem-solving process accelerated, especially to meet larger clients' expectations.

Pros

"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR needs to be more stable."
"One of the most valuable features is the signature updating in near real-time."
"The most valuable features are the anti-malware and firewall policies. The runtime scans and execution have been beneficial to our business."
"After deploying Bitdefender, it provides detailed logs about any threats encountered and quarantines the threat. It synchronizes this information, and you can see which PC or device faced the threat when you log into the console."
"It has the ability to remotely control user PCs and execute specific commands to ensure their security. However, this capability could also pose some concerns."
"The cloud management is easy and useful, especially in our case when we have multiple offices in different locations."
"I like GravityZone's short implementation time. It takes only a day, at most."
"What I have found to be valuable is after every new release of the solution there are more features. At the time that we bought Bitdefender GravityZone, it was their top solution. We went from their Enterprise version to Elite, Elite HD, Ultra, and now there is an Ultra Plus available."
"The user behavioral analysis feature is great."
"Trellix Security Endpoint can promptly isolate any host machines directly from the console. If alerts are received and isolation is necessary, it can be accomplished through the console. The console itself holds significant value, accessible through a browser and allowing remote actions via cloud login."
"The solution offers very good endpoint security."
"The performance is good."
"The product’s stability and security features enhance user protection and organizational security."
"The solution is stable."
"It has improved my organization because it helps with visibility, in terms of security. We can see the actual attack and can contain it. The antivirus can detect that."
"The product is quite user-friendly."

Cons

"Application Control should be available on the cloud."
"The product fails to provide guides to its users...I want the tool to offer some guides and hands-on training that can guide users who want to learn more about the product without the vendor's help."
"Their ransomware remediation doesn't respond as fast as BullWall does...Ransomware control needs to be improved."
"Sometimes, the platform takes a while to allow connectivity on the Mac endpoints."
"The solution's workflow is very cumbersome and should be improved."
"They should improve the solution's patch management feature."
"The outreach from support was a bit bad according to their plan, but we've got two people here that manage and support GravityZone and interact with them and they manage it very well."
"There was a bit of a problem deploying."
"There are a few areas where Trellix Endpoint Security can improve. Firstly, the high CPU utilization when agents are installed can negatively impact client systems."
"Sometimes, while installing the ePO, we were getting so many errors and I don't know why it happened."
"We don't like the solution since it requires much memory consumption and consumes much CPU resources."
"Its pricing needs to be improved."
"What needs improvement in Trellix Endpoint Security is the reduction of resource consumption by the scanning feature. There should be daily signature updates for protection."
"It would be a lot easier if I could add multiple user accounts within a single device."
"We’re facing remote installation issues sometimes:"
"The DAC (Dynamic Application Containment) component of this product needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Each endpoint device we purchased came with its own license."
"There are some differences. It's more cost-effective, yet it provides the same functionalities as Defender. That's why I've been exploring the comparisons. We pay for it annually, and it's a per-seat payment."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra is less expensive than other solutions, such as CrowdStrike. We had a really good deal because it was their year-end and they were trying to do a lot of sales that week. We bought a three-year contract from them and the cost was approximately $17 per endpoint, per year. It is was a very good price. I have spoken to other people who have purchased CrowdStrike at approximately $60 per endpoint, per year. I have no complaints about the price of this solution."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is cheaper than Kaspersky. There are no additional costs apart from licensing ones."
"The pricing for Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra is not that high. It's okay for its service, so I would download it on my personal computer and buy it for myself as a customer."
"The price is per license per endpoint. The price is different for everyone, but we find the price is cheap for us."
"The solution's pricing is average."
"It has a suitable price for every company and organization."
"The license costs are very reasonable, around 1,000 to 1,200 rupees per year."
"Pricing is fair."
"I do licensing on an annual basis and this is what I always recommend to my clients over the monthly option."
"The tool is affordable"
"I think Trellix is more on the higher side of the market, just on a general scale, but I also think it depends on what particular package you choose."
"The initial price is very good as they give good initial discounts, but it seems a little expensive once you renew the license."
"The pricing is great and licensing fees are billed on a yearly basis."
"I would rate the cost as four to five, considering it's normal compared to other products. I find it nominal and worth the money."
