We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.

"What is most valuable about Skype for Business is that almost everyone knows about it and almost everyone has it. You will be able to reach a large number of people.""The most valuable feature of Skype for Business is overall it is an okay solution.""The most valuable feature is how useful it has been for virtual meetings during the pandemic.""Skype for Business is good for meetings and instant messaging.""It's a good product, we like using it.""It's a good and stable product that fits my needs.""I think Skype for Business is scalable. However, I believe Microsoft is discontinuing the Skype platform altogether, so I don't think it's super-relevant.""Scalable communication tool that's easy to install. Even old people are using it, because of its ease of use."

Cons
"There isn't too much information about Avaya solutions and that could be very much improved. If you want some product support, you have to go through a business partner in Latin America and there aren't many partners."

More Avaya IX Meetings Cons →

"The challenge we had with Skype for Business was with the signing in when a user signed out and when signing in back in again, there was a bit of a problem. We switched from Skype for Business to Teams, and Teams never had that sign-in problem once we did the switch.""Skype for Business could improve the interface. It could be easier to use. Additionally, it's hard to find the people or add people you want to communicate with.""Skype for Business could improve by having a document channel or repository. Microsoft Teams has a better repository place for documents that you can share with your team. You can access it anywhere from any device.""I am not familiar with all of the features or whether they can hold conferences because we use Zoom for that. But, in my opinion, if they can do something similar to what Zoom is doing, it will be a complete solution.""The group feature of Skype for Business needs improvement. It should also be improved for online lectures.""The initial setup could be simplified.""This service could be improved by adding some missing features. It lacks integration with Teams, which is a feature I would like to see in the next release.""Whenever someone is using a messaging platform, the messages needs to be stored. In Skype for Business, the message will not be seen later on if you're not online. It isn't useful, in my opinion."
