Relying on dependable communication features for efficient collaboration
I work with Microsoft Exchange. We use Microsoft Azure, though I am not involved with the back-end operations. I work with Microsoft Exchange and ServiceNow for the service desk. I do not work with Cloud Observability or Automation Engine. We use Microsoft Copilot with Teams. We do not use Microsoft Security Copilot as it is not cloud-based. We have moved from Skype for Business to Teams recently, though some of us still use Skype for Business because it is convenient. Skype for Business is particularly useful for remoting onto people's devices. I prefer Skype for Business over Teams for screen sharing. Sometimes there are compatibility issues when running Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business together. Phone calls in Teams might ring and then go silent, or the microphone might not detect calls from either application. I rate Skype for Business a 9 out of 10 because it works effectively with minimal issues.

Cons

"Avaya IX Meetings' deployment is complex."
"There isn't too much information about Avaya solutions and that could be very much improved. If you want some product support, you have to go through a business partner in Latin America and there aren't many partners."
"Unfortunately, the video conferencing, both audio and video were not as good as Webex or Microsoft."
"The installation could be more straightforward. I would like it to work with other meeting software in the next release."
"There isn't too much information about Avaya solutions and that could be very much improved."
"Increase in participant numbers reduces quality of video and sound."
"I venture to say that 30% of the people using this solution at our company have had issues with stability, due to the volatility and crashes."
"The tool needs to have a dynamic file updating feature, so people you share a file with could update the file dynamically, all at once, all at the same time."
"The initial setup could be simplified."
"The stability could be improved."
"We need a feature where you can virtually raise your hand to silently let the presenter know that you have a question."
"We have found that there is a lag because it cannot integrate with the internal landline."
"We need a feature where you can virtually raise your hand to silently let the presenter know that you have a question."
"The solution feels like it's pretty bare-bones."
