A low-code and no-code tool for automation purposes that is very user-friendly
AutonomIQ TestIQ is only available on mobile devices and on the web. I wish to see AutonomIQ TestIQ in a different area, like game automation or game testing. There is no tool or support offered in the market for game testing. The automatic automation should help capture videos, logs, audio, and other steps with which the user plays that particular game if I want to automate any graphical game with the help of a low-code and no-code tool, like AutonomIQ TestIQ. The ability to capture and record with the help of automation is not there in AutonomIQ TestIQ. The aforementioned area can be considered for improvement.

End-to-end regression automation has accelerated delivery and now secures complex test data
I think Tosca can be improved, particularly in AI capabilities because right now Tosca does not have any strong API capabilities. It has some AI features in the newer version, but many organizations have not adopted these due to version-specific problems, as some are still using older versions. From an AI point of view, they can enhance reliability since the world is moving towards AI, and every tool must be integrated. While Tosca has made attempts, I have not used them and they are not widely adopted, so they are stuck in the testing phase in my organization. I would also mention that while I am currently using Tosca Mobile, the loading part and connectivity issues need improvement. They should better integrate AI features that are already present but not widely used across many organizations. Reliability on the AI aspect needs enhancement for practical application. From the perspective of governance and security, I believe Tosca can develop its own LLM or leverage third-party LLMs while maintaining security and risk management regarding client data. Many companies prefer using Tosca due to data security, which is crucial. An in-house LLM could significantly enhance its debugging power and provide helpful solutions upon test case failure.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"UI is one of the best features of AutonomIQ TestIQ."
"Makes optimal use of Model-based Test practice in getting Object-references from the application."
"Overall, everything is reusable simply via drag and drop, and you will always have a single point of maintenance (e.g. in a future release of your SUT a button was added, you just need adapt the module. Linked test cases and execution lists are updated automatically)."
"I face no challenges or stability issues."
"For beginners, the product is good, especially for those who are interested in the quality side of software testing."
"It was very apparent that Tosca was an all-in-one solution because we could do database testing, UI, and API testing, while the other tools we evaluated each focused on only one area."
"Tricentis Tosca can be easily integrated with SAP infrastructure."
"This solution allows you to create an entire automated framework where it allows you to easily manage everything in one place."
"Our organization is completely based on automation of the activities."

Cons

"The ability to capture and record with the help of automation is not there in AutonomIQ TestIQ."
"In Tosca, I see that there are no user guides."
"First, Tricentis could improve Tosca's Linux scripting. We can automate Linux scripting, but there are a few commands that Tosca doesn't support. DVS support and the object identification mechanism could also be better."
"It did not improve because the GUI was not static, so it was not possible to write tests for a GUI that was in progress."
"At the time I was using the product, the reporting function was lacking in usability and detail."
"Technical support used to be better. It is now a bit difficult to reach out compared to previous experiences."
"I feel that the Tosca tool should be improved for handling Siebel applications. Tosca doesn't handle Siebel applications as well as it handles other platform applications."
"Upgrading from one version to another requires maintenance and rework in existing scripts. This is too much for my taste."
"Many times when we have raised a ticket, we did not get an urgent response."

"They are probably more expensive than other comparable tools, but you also get the full suite of testing tools."
"The tool is quite expensive."
"The licensing cost for Tricentis Tosca is expensive. It has multiple features, but to use all of its features, you have to pay for additional licenses."
