Good filtering and reporting tools but can be difficult to use
It can scale as needed. It's not a problem. There are different teams using it. We have CSOC, which is internal, which is onshore, then we have a security operations center that is offshore, which would be in India. The onshore team might be a group of three, and the offshore might be a group of five. Likely, we have eight to ten people in total using the product directly.

Integration capabilities impress while room for improvement exists in cloud compatibility
1. Enhanced Cloud Integration Current Gap: Log360 lacks native integration with Microsoft Intune and cloud-based Active Directory (Azure AD), limiting visibility for organizations transitioning to hybrid or fully cloud environments. Requested Improvements: Direct Intune Log Collection: Ability to ingest and correlate logs from Intune-managed devices to monitor compliance, device health, and security policies. Azure AD Deep Integration: Support for Azure AD audit logs, conditional access events, and identity protection alerts to provide end-to-end visibility. Cloud Workload Monitoring: Extend coverage to SaaS applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS, GCP) for unified threat detection. Why It Matters: Many clients have migrated from on-prem AD to cloud-first setups this year. Without cloud-native log collection, critical security events (e.g., rogue Intune policies or Azure AD breaches) go unmonitored. 2. Improved Automation and Response Current Gap: Limited automated remediation (e.g., auto-isolating compromised devices) forces manual intervention. Requested Features: Playbook Automation: Pre-built workflows to auto-resolve common issues (e.g., disabling users after brute-force attacks). SOAR Integration: APIs to connect with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto Cortex) for escalated threat response.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"This solution allows us to identify connections for all users."
"This product improves visibility, whereas prior to implementing this solution there is no visibility."
"The correlation engine is good."
"This solution allows us to identify connections for all users, and we can see the name, login time, IP address, and other information for each connection to each server."
"The most valuable features are that you get lots of connectors, which make it easy to log in to my ASM, and lots of prebuilt roles from the company."
"We use this solution for monitoring our network."
"The correlation engine is good."
"We have seen a measurable decrease in the mean time to detect and respond to threats."
"The reports that you can run are really nice; they give you a lot of standard reports, which are nice, and the ability to run some custom ones, too."
"The most valuable feature is that this solution is more secure than others, and there are more applications and features as well."
"ManageEngine Log360 is not difficult to deploy."
"It basically helps us. We have to stay in compliance with certain issues with some of our customers. We have to have these types of tools in place for protecting our network and our data. We're in the aerospace industry, so we have a lot of defense contracts. So, all those guys will make sure that we're protecting their information, and it does a good job in that aspect."
"It is nice to be able to monitor and to have notifications."
"The most valuable features of this solution are the consolidating of the reports, being able to take action and send them to email several addresses."
"The support provided is fantastic, and ManageEngine Log360 provides the same capabilities that were being enjoyed with AlienVault while suiting the budget and providing what is needed."
"The product is very user-friendly."

Cons

"ArcSight's features that can be improved include anything related to its visualization capabilities and user friendliness."
"This is not a solution that I would recommend."
"The UX for the SOC analyst does not match that of the competitors, and therefore needs improvement."
"It needs more user analytics and aggregation user queries. And it's slow. When you query over ArcSight, it is very slow."
"The interactive dashboard is complicated and you need to have training in order to use it, so I think that it could be made easier to use."
"The GUI interface is not always intuitive and easy for non-technical users to work with."
"You can use this solution for limited use cases. But for more advanced use cases, there are other solutions which are better than ArcSight."
"I would like to see orchestration."
"The graphical interface could be made easier to use when you are connecting to different network equipment."
"ManageEngine Log360 is not a stable solution. It needs improvement."
"The backup process is not that easy and not that straightforward."
"The on-premises solution is very slow. When I move to another tab inside Log360 or in the SIEM, even if my system is running on 36 GB and with a high processor, it takes a lot of time to get into the alert page or the search page."
"Log360 currently cannot gather information from Intune logs or cloud-integrated systems."
"With ManageEngine, you need to actually have an idea of what you want to do with the information you're looking at. It doesn't drive you in the direction — that's a con."
"There are issues with stability."
"I haven't had very good support from those guys."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In addition to the costs of standard licensing fees, there is the cost of labor for maintenance."
"It can range between $30,000 and $40,000 USD, and can go up to $500,000 and $600,000 USD."
"ArcSight Analytics is a bit expensive compared with other tools in terms of licensing costs, training, hardware implementation, and support."
"My customers pay a yearly licensing fee for ArcSight Analytics."
"The monthly licensing fee is around $20,000. There aren't any costs in addition to the standard licensing fee."
"This solution is expensive."
"ManageEngine Log360 is expensive compared to other products."
"My client has a yearly license. I think the cost is not expensive compared to that of other SIEMs, given the service it is providing."
"Affordable pricing is provided by the solution."
"There is a cost for each feature used."
"Its pricing is definitely huge compared to some of the other SIEMs. Its price should be improved."
