Rapid development has improved enterprise workflows but still needs a more modern ecosystem
One of the best features of Adobe ColdFusion in my experience is how quickly I can develop and deploy applications. The rapid development capabilities really stand out, especially the built-in tags and functions that simplify database interaction, form handling, and API creation. It allows me to focus more on business logic rather than focusing on boilerplate code. I also find the debugging and logging tools helpful, such as being able to trace errors and monitor performance directly from the administrator. It basically speeds up troubleshooting significantly. If I had to choose one feature of Adobe ColdFusion that saves me the most time or reduces my workload the most, I would say the rapid development capabilities, especially the built-in tags and database integration features. That has saved me the most time because Adobe ColdFusion makes it very easy to connect to a database, execute queries, and handle data with minimal boilerplate code. Overall, it allows me to spend more time focusing on optimizing logic and improving user experience rather than dealing with infrastructure and repetitive setup tasks. One additional feature of Adobe ColdFusion that I can mention is the security capabilities. Adobe ColdFusion provides helpful tools for securing applications, such as role-based access control, session management, and built-in protections against vulnerabilities like CSRF and XSS. This feature basically reduces the amount of custom security code that we have to write.

Streamlined lead capture has boosted web performance and made form handling more efficient
Currently, we are not using Cloudflare's security suite to the level much, as Cloudflare by default provides DDoS support; we are just using Cloudflare's DDoS support, which by default protects against denial-of-service attacks. I have used Cloudflare Workers' key-value pair for data storage. It has helped with data access efficiency, especially the data collection of the forms, as key-value pairs are easy to connect, and we are able to validate information much sooner, checking the mobile number. I assess the execution speed of Cloudflare Workers to be faster, at least providing a 30-40% increase compared to traditional server-based architectures, at a minimum. I have noticed time efficiency as the best return on investment with Cloudflare Workers; I am not seeing anything else, as time is the major one. We are planning to integrate WebAssembly with Cloudflare Workers, but we have not done it. I think we are good with Cloudflare Workers as we were having initial troubles with the ID integration, such as Visual Studio Code, but they have started adding some support when we start using their default packages, which can test locally as well as work in deployment; it is easier now, although the documentation can improve. I think the pricing of Cloudflare Workers is decent; it is good.

"We save enormous amounts of time in development using this tool."
"The ability to write SQL queries was very helpful as we did not need to bother our DBAs in writing stored procedures for simple tasks."
"I believe that developing with ColdFusion saved me about 25% time compared to Java and PHP projects."
"Overall, Adobe ColdFusion has been a very reliable and productive platform for us."
"Among the most valuable features are an almost unlimited set of tags (ready-to-use components), which accelerate development in at least 50%, compared to other development languages that I have used (PHP, JavaServer Pages, .NET, and Node.js)."
"I find it to be the easiest server-side technology for website development. It easily integrates with virtually everything– from web APIs to NoSQL databases to RSS and XML services."

Cons

"The solution needs to improve its adaption capability with a third-party company. I want to see more communities or open knowledge resources with the tool."
"Installation of the server software was formidable due the number of configurable options."
"Previously when I was trying to create some data, it was very difficult to get real-time data from Workfront."
"It is a shame that Adobe does not provide ColdFusion Training anymore, but there is a network of Training Partners where you can find basic and advanced ColdFusion training anywhere."

"Installation of the server software was formidable due the number of configurable options."

"Monitoring needs improvement. It's a bit difficult to understand how many failures occur and manage logging effectively."
"In general, the security of the product could be improved with minimal latency due to its many points of presence."
"The stability and reliability of Cloudflare Workers have been good, except for a few incidents that happened recently where Cloudflare was down, causing some disturbances very lately, in the last few months."

Pricing and Cost Advice
