What is our primary use case?
My main use cases for Calendly include automating meeting scheduling and managing availability, checking calendars, and providing meeting reminders. A specific example of how I use Calendly in my day-to-day work is when we need to determine an interviewer's availability. We send their calendar, which is currently linked to the candidates, and based on their availability, the candidates can block the appropriate slot. This eliminates the need for back-and-forth communication between the interviewer and the candidate, which brings speed and automation to the system. This is a main use case for Calendly, as it makes it easier to book meetings.
What is most valuable?
One of the best features Calendly offers is lender availability. The availability feature specifically helps my team and workflow by managing the availability of individuals, which assists in arranging or scheduling meetings rather than going back and forth and cross-checking with all parties.
We have two teams: one works in India and one is in the US, so Calendly helps in synchronizing time zones, and we do not have to cross-check the times because they are easily available there. Calendly has impacted my organization positively because now the coordinators do not have to do back-and-forth communication. Simply by sharing the Calendly link, they can identify the right time slots and book a meeting. We do not have to share personal email IDs, which means we spend less time, saving time for other processes.
I can estimate that previously we were doing back-and-forth communication, and now we are spending less than thirty to forty percent of our time coordinating with meeting attendees, which also improves the meeting fixed rate. The attendance ratio has improved because everyone is booking the slot according to the availability of others.
What needs improvement?
Calendly is working well and stands out because it is very simple, but it could benefit from more advanced automation features or additional AI features.
I would love to see more enhanced scheduling in Calendly. For example, it could identify the time, check the calendars of both parties, and automatically book meetings with just a confirmation needed from each party.
For how long have I used the solution?
Almost for a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Calendly is stable for us, with no issues regarding downtime or glitches.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Calendly's scalability is high and has no issues handling our organization's growth and needs.
How are customer service and support?
Calendly's customer support is good, and I would give them a nine out of ten as they are timely available, and we do not experience delays in that support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before using Calendly, we were doing it manually, as there was no other player, and we were coordinating manually.
How was the initial setup?
The setup cost was not there, as it took hardly a day's time to set this up, and we have some licenses for our use.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment with Calendly, as the best thing is the time saved. We do not have to go back and forth to get availabilities. One link shared with the other party allows them to choose the slot as per their availability by checking the calendar of the other party, so time saved is one of the biggest things we notice.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing is that it is not expensive and the pricing is comparatively good. The setup cost was not there, as it took hardly a day's time to set this up, and we have some licenses for our use.
What other advice do I have?
For anyone looking into using Calendly, I suggest it for meeting scheduling needs, as it will help them save time instead of doing it manually. Calendly is an amazing product, and I am glad to give them a positive review. I give this review an overall rating of ten out of ten.
