What is our primary use case?
I use AceCloud to host an e-commerce automation system built with UiPath because it handles order cancellation and refund-related workflows. The system is designed to process the requests using VMs and object storage.
A typical workflow that I use AceCloud for will update the order and initiate the refund workflow. SQL records the transaction while the exception goes to another review.
I also automate product returns, and the bot checks the delivery date, return policy, and the provider-provided reason before treating a return request. It can initiate pickup through shipping APIs, update order records, and prevent duplicate return policies.
I am not currently using AceCloud's AI service for automation security, which means protecting order data, customer information, and payment references. I can restrict access, secure credential handling, and use the execution log to control and audit automation.
I use AceCloud's public cloud in Noida that supports my setup. I use two a3a.large Windows VMs for unattended UiPath bots on sta.large Linux/Unix and for Python APIs, DBA, 3.8, and PostgreSQL. The order data is 100 GB.
How has it helped my organization?
AceCloud has positively impacted my organization by allowing the bots to run independently. Earlier, automation depended on my local machine, which limited concurrent execution. It also separates development from production workflows and reduces manual server management.
My automation is designed to reduce the standard cancellation processing from around eight minutes manually to two minutes. It also reduces repetitive work and avoids buying a dedicated physical server.
What is most valuable?
The best features AceCloud offers me are Cloud Compute, Managed PostgreSQL, and Object Storage. The Windows VM runs unattended UiPath robots. The SQL stores order and workflow records, and Object Storage keeps logs and documents. It has flexible CPU and RAM configurations.
I rely on the provisioning of the VM the most. I rely on the provisioning of VMs, the quad-core CPU, and the 16 GB RAM Windows instance the most. My Windows instance is sufficient for browser automation, API requests, and routine processing. I don't need a GPU on the workload.
What needs improvement?
One improvement for AceCloud would be extending the trial credit validity. AceCloud provides 20,000 trial credits, but the seven-day period is short for developers' testing. At least 14 days would give me enough time to configure infrastructure, test automation performance, and evaluate the service properly.
The basic starter docs were manageable, but more RPA-specific documentation would help guide first-time users for robot development, Windows VM configuration, database security, and automated backup. That would help with onboarding for other developers.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using AceCloud for approximately six months to test and run my e-commerce automation project. Earlier, I was running most workflows locally, which was not feasible.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The cloud infrastructure has been suitable for the workload. Most issues come from an external website change to the e-commerce portal, which I handle.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Initially, I ran the automation on my local Windows desktop, but it wasn't good for unattended execution because restart and development activities could interrupt the bot. I moved to AceCloud for a dedicated cloud infrastructure.
What was our ROI?
Based on my illustration, my monthly requests and automation cover around 1,050 requests.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The proposed infrastructure budget is approximately 25,000 to 30,000 monthly when configured.
What other advice do I have?
I would like to rate AceCloud nine out of 10. Its compute, database, and storage services fit my automation requirements, and the flexibility to choose different instance configurations is very useful for the project.
I just need more trial time so that a newcomer can explore. That's the only thing, so I gave it nine out of 10 for AceCloud.
Start by estimating your bot concurrency, CPU usage, RAM, and storage needs. For most rule-based RPA workloads, a CPU instance is sufficient. This is a smaller configuration, so measure resource usage.
