My main use case for Dell Business Laptops is software development, specifically internet applications for organizations as well as mobile apps which are used by all organization employees throughout India and globally, which helps the growth of organizations for the last seven to eight years. Along with that, using the integrated AI with Dell Business Laptops helps me to auto-correct things as well as build new initiatives with new ideas on top of it.

Since I joined the IT organizations around 2000, I have been using Dell Business Laptops since 2002, and it is one of my favorite laptops. Currently, I am using an i7 generation, which helps a lot in making life easier with the help of AI as well integrated into the laptop. I work with it for company usage as well as personal usage, and it is really making us feel happy and easy to do the things.

The best features that Dell Business Laptops offer, in my opinion, are the features integrated within the motherboards. Specifically, what I feel is the quick updates that run in the background in such a way that they never interrupt my work, day-to-day activities, or the calls or sessions I am conducting for my peers. Dell keeps updating each and everything at the background without impacting my daily works. Not only that, it keeps me up to date each and every time; there is no need for something to hang and not be able to proceed further. It is an easy-go kind of a thing for me as of now.

The best example I can give you for how this feature impacts my daily workflow is yesterday when I was in a conference with my colleagues from globally. That call ran for around three and a half hours, and meanwhile, I got an update from Dell that some patch needed to be updated. When I clicked to proceed with the update, the back end kept running without interrupting or interfering in my video calls, also not impacting any voice disturbances in between. After three and a half hours of my call, I got a message that your upgrade is successfully completed, and your laptop is up to date. This makes me very happy because it will not impact anything for my day-to-day activities.

I request Dell to include more and more AI related features as things are moving faster and the world is beginning to rely on AI. Dell is already helping with that, but we need to be much more forward in developing the next generation of laptops where AI rules everything.

I have nothing regarding immediate improvements that I want to mention; it is just that regular updates are needed as and when the demand comes. Currently, Dell is doing very best as of now.

Dell Business Laptops' scalability is super and quick.

The customer support is one of the best; I can call them through phone or connect at any point of time and request them to come and do any hardware changes I require. It is truly a user-friendly kind of customer service. I would rate the customer support a 10.

I used Acer laptops when studying engineering, but when I used Acer laptops, a friend used Dell. I tried doing my presentations and product work on that, and I felt Dell Business Laptops was much faster than Acer in terms of responsiveness and scalability. So I completely switched to Dell.

We were already with HP also before deciding to go with Dell.

I have not used any different solutions other than Dell previously, except during my studying time. Since then, till today, I am using Dell itself, and I am super happy with that.

As of now, when we buy in bulk, the pricing, setup cost, and licensing are up to the mark, and we continue to add more features within the laptop at the same price. This is helpful not only for our nation but many nations, and they are also interested to see what new activities or features are being added with the form of AI.

Dell Business Laptops help improve my company's ROI through daily employee productivity and device reliability because the AI integrated into them provides super good ROI, definitely leading to cost savings and a high return on investment.

I can say my return on investment mainly pertains to money saved and, on top of that, time saved in terms of delivery to users and stakeholders through quick sprint releases of modules to end-users, enabling them to work easily and smoothly without interruptions.

As of now, when we buy in bulk, the pricing, setup cost, and licensing are up to the mark, and we continue to add more features within the laptop at the same price. Dell Business Laptops are currently deployed on-premises.

I choose 10 out of 10 for Dell Business Laptops because they are easy-going and friendly. As I am using it since a long time, 2002 till now, I have not had any issues with the laptop, and I keep upgrading things as and when required, starting from software to hardware. Every time, I get smooth transactions with the Dell representatives.

Regarding battery replacement, during the COVID point in time when everybody was working from home, we did not get DC current, while AC was available, leading to the overcharging of laptops that could damage the battery and slow performance. When I informed Dell that my battery was getting damaged because of overheating, they quickly came to my home, replaced it within a few minutes, and I started working again. This has helped me a lot.

I want to thank the Dell organization for helping not only me, but many people are there who are super happy with the usage of the laptops. Now it is a kind of AI era; everything is changing faster, and everything expects to be delivered quite quickly. At this point in time, the only best friend for any person will be Dell Business Laptops, which will make their life much easier and faster.

I specifically recommend or give my suggestions to the higher management on which kind of Dell Business Laptops to buy and which generation laptops, how they will help my team to be more productive, enabling them to do things quickly and increase the productivity of the organizations.

The top priorities when selecting laptops for my organization include making sure they can run many things simultaneously, starting from software and programming to server and hardware, database, and more. So I need more RAM, as they should be auto-scalable and auto-integratable with other applications like Power BI, which will require complex data to be restructured and displayed as quickly as possible without wasting time, and the process is quite fast with Dell Business Laptops.

The specific challenge or need I was trying to address when choosing Dell Business Laptops for my organization is to ensure that there is no lagging or slowness and that they are very quick and responsive with everything I require.

The specific results or improvements my end users experienced since switching to these Dell Business Laptops include fast delivery, which makes them delighted and super happy.

When we deliver a project to stakeholders and present the results, they usually ask which device we are using. I probably say I am using a Dell so-and-so generation for today's presentation, and this is how the configuration is; that responsible response is why it all goes smoothly. It is all because of Dell Business Laptops.

As we have different experiences with our team, we distribute all the Dell Business Laptops to them, and as of today, without any issues, it is working super smoothly, and everybody is happy with that.

Dell Business Laptops are much more secure; they do not open any public domains that can be easily hacked by any hackers. That is a great feature of Dell with the help of AI.

Its governance and security are completely secure, as I have applications that need to be very much secured and not public protocol. That is completely allowing me to do B2B business without any security glitches, all because of my Dell Business Laptops and the security features built within.

When we buy laptops in bulk, it obviously provides a cheaper price quotation, which helps in budgeting and forecasting. Secondly, the delivery of day-to-day work is quite faster, which delights the end users, which is what I suggest.

When I recommend Dell Business Laptops to a peer, I tell them that when I am talking or if any conversation starts related to what kind of laptops I am using, I definitely tell my friends or peers to choose Dell. Do not just believe my words; start using it, and you will start loving it. The way it interprets automatically, the support it provides, and its scalability will really delight you without impacting your day-to-day work. You never know your laptop is up to date as you see the things on the laptop.

I am currently using an i5 generation Dell Business Laptop.

As of now, I give it a rating of 90 to 95 out of 100 for its accuracy and reliability of output. It is very much accurate, and 5 percent legacy monitoring is required to make sure everything is up to the mark.

It is great to use Dell Business Laptops across different generations, and I am thankful to all the people who are putting their efforts into making me happy in my day-to-day activities.

My advice to others looking into using Dell Business Laptops is just to use it, and you will start loving it.

The top priorities when selecting laptops for my organization are performance and Windows 11.

Dell Business Laptops models we are currently using at my organization include the Dell Pro Plus 14 with AMD Ryzen AI 350.

We specifically chose that model because it does not have Intel's collaboration mode. That is where Microsoft Teams, when you get in a call or Zoom call or anything that engages the camera and microphone, slows down the Intel processor to give it better battery life. But then all of our consumers say that they cannot do anything while on Teams calls. So that is why we went AMD.

The specific challenge or need we were trying to address when we chose Dell Business Laptops was serviceability, logistics, and support. Dell Business Support, when you open a ticket for anything relating to the hardware at scale, is pretty good. It is better than some of the other vendors we have dealt with. Their SLA for their Pro Plus warranty and extended warranty plan is strong. We do use another logistics provider, GTS, to help us facilitate that because we obviously want a next-day laptop to our customers. We take that laptop and Dell handles it with GTS on the back end for us. So that is why we picked Dell Business Laptops over some of the others for that flexibility.

For Dell Command Update, it manages the drivers for the hardware platform, such as your Intel thermal framework driver, your graphics driver, or your AMD chipset driver, so that we are in line with what is available through the Dell catalog. For BIOS recovery, that is if the operating system corrupts or there is a BitLocker and the key is not unlocking the drive, we can go and connect to the web, similar to remote restore on Apple products. It surprisingly works faster than the Apple restore. I am very happy with that feature.

We do use Dell Trusted Vault in coordination with CrowdStrike, which allows us to verify the BIOS integrity when we are deploying the update on Dell Business Laptops. If there is ever a man-in-the-middle attack or someone gains administrative privileges to upload their own custom BIOS, CrowdStrike together with Dell Trusted Vault should prevent that attack from happening.

The most valuable feature we have found about Dell Business Laptops is Dell Command Update, which is the most powerful tool that we use. We use it via background task with the command line interface. That is something some other vendors do not have. The other thing that is extraordinarily helpful is the recovery image from BIOS, or even with the USB generation from an application. There are some vendors where, when you do recovery, they lock it down as far as the serial number on the device. For example, I have a thousand of the same laptops and I built one USB for it. If I go and put it in another one, it will fail because it does not match the serial number. But Dell seems to keep it trucking along and it works fine.

To go from a nine to a ten, it would be great if some Dell products would have warranties because we view Dell as a business partner. We had an issue last year, and it was with NVIDIA directly inside the hardware. We identified the bug, opened a ticket with NVIDIA, and they resolved the bug. When we informed Dell about the bug so they could help their other customers, they basically brushed us off because we no longer had a warranty on that product. We felt frustrated because we were trying to provide them knowledge and insight into their own product that we solved for them. Other than that, it has been pretty good.

What would be great with Dell Command Update is if they launched their drivers through Dell Command Update as fast as they did through the Dell support site. We typically see a delay of seven to fourteen days from when a driver is offered on their website as a critical fix to when it is available in the Dell Command application. If we could narrow down that time, that would be great because sometimes our vulnerability team will inform us that this driver has a CVE 9.9, and we are already mostly remediated. But sometimes, speed is of the essence.

I would rate Dell Business Laptops overall as an eight. There is definitely room to do better. A lot of their Dell Plus line, especially their fifteen and sixteen-inch laptops, cannot be configured as tenkeyless. You only get one keyboard option and a lot of our users complain about the keyboard not being centered. I also see Dell's argument that so many of their other customers want the keypads. So I do think if we had some sort of flexibility with the chassis with Dell Pro Plus and their aluminum AMD systems to have either the tenkey keypad or not on their fifteen-inch model, that would be ten out of ten.

I have been working in my current field for ten years.

My organization has specifically been using Dell Business Laptops for ten years as well, for Cox Automotive.

I would rate the support overall as a nine out of ten.

I went with Dell Business Laptops over Microsoft and HP mainly due to the support we get from Dell.

We have considered HP in the past and we have also considered Microsoft directly for their Surface lineup, mainly the Surface Laptop and Surface Laptop Studio as a comparison to what was Latitude and Precision, and now Dell Pro and Dell Pro Max.

We do have measurable outcomes for the company such as cost savings, productivity improvements, and user satisfaction scores. When we had Intel Meteor Lake processors and switched to AMD, we were seeing that our employees were gaining about an hour to two hours of productivity back from the performance improvements of switching to the AMD platform per endpoint. Since we switched over about ten thousand endpoints from the Intel platform with Core Ultra to AMD Ryzen, we have saved millions of hours over the course of a year.

The specific results or improvements the end-user has felt since switching to or using Dell Business Laptops in general include having more availability in the hardware to test and certify. Now that we do have the option between whatever is the latest from Intel, whatever is the latest from AMD, whatever is the latest from Snapdragon Qualcomm, it gives us the flexibility to always pick what is fastest. HP and Lenovo have done a really good job of offering all three of those platforms, but now that Dell has caught up with those other vendors and provided the best service, that has greatly improved our ability to give the fastest platform at any given time.

If I were recommending Dell Business Laptops to a peer, I would probably smash it and then tell them that I would not worry about it because another one is coming in forty-eight hours. But on a serious note, a lot of my peers are in information technology or in development or computer-aided design at universities. Performance has always been king. Dell Pro Plus Max with AMD and then the NVIDIA Blackwell is the first high-performance laptop that I can have more than five hours of battery life and actually use in my lap without burning myself over the Intel platform. I would probably show off how fast I can compute in my lap, and they would probably be blown away by that.

To another IT leader or buyer who is on the fence about choosing Dell Business Laptops for their commercial fleet, I think in real life, I describe my experience with Dell by telling this story called the cardboard coffin. A lot of times with other vendors, they send an onsite tech if requested or replacement after you mail yours in, which can take some time. But our experience with what I call the cardboard coffin, where they just send you a cardboard coffin, you throw the laptop in, and overnight via FedEx to Dell in Nashville or Austin, wherever they choose to send it, then you get your replacement back or they repair yours, is the industry best. It is better than Apple.

I sum up my experience with Dell Business Laptops as mostly positive. On a personal note, I choose to buy Dell Business Laptops at home. I have an Inspiron fourteen, I have an Alienware M17. My wife does have an HP EliteBook and it is a nice computer, but I prefer Dell in my house and at work. It is a brand I recognize, it is a brand I trust, and they have proven it with their support and their cost. While it might not be as stylish as some of the older ThinkPads or a MacBook, it definitely gets the job done.

Dell Business Laptops have supported our organization's hybrid workforce mainly through our ability to have direct ship to the consumer for the laptop if needed, especially for repair or emergencies. Their ability to actually get inventory in has been crucial. A lot of people have been talking about the supply chain crunch, but we have been able to get our Dell T2 Towers with NVIDIA cards without any issues and on time. We have been able to get all of our laptop shipments in time. Since the COVID pandemic, we have not had any shipping or cost delays or overruns as a result of AI scale-out or anything to that effect. We have been very pleased with that. I would rate this review an eight overall.

Since we work with students primarily and because we're a higher education institution, cost is probably the number one factor when selecting laptops for our organization. It's a challenging question to answer because we have different use cases. We have the cheap solution, which is purely cost-focused and needs to be as inexpensive as possible. For the GPU solution, we want the best price per value in regards to what students can actually do with those machines. Then we want to look at the capabilities of those machines. There are certain standards that we have for our students and our faculty that are validated by me and the rest of my team, the tech team. We want to buy products that fit those standards, and thankfully, Dell Business Laptops has a little bit of everything that we can pick from to find something that works for us.

We are currently using a Pro MAX Plus 16 and a Pro Plus 14 business laptop model. They've changed the naming convention, so I used to know them as Precisions and Latitudes. We're using a whole gamut. Our faculty buy anything and everything. We have really thin, lightweight models. I've got an older, I think it's a 9310 or 9320 laptop that I'm carrying, and then at home, I've got the big RTX Pro 3000 GPU laptop.

The big RTX Pro 3000 GPU laptop is for mainly testing local inferencing for AI models and testing different AI tools that we can provide to our students. If certain faculty have it baked into the curriculum that they want to teach local inferencing or whatever AI tools they have, we may let students borrow or use those laptops in a shared lab setting. Those are kind of the evaluating models that we're going through right now. We're waiting on a shipment of Alienwares, for Area-51 Alienwares with 5090s in them, to compare that versus a business solution, such as the RTX Pro series.

With Dell Business Laptops, we have so many use cases, and the primary focus for me being an academic system administrator is on our students. I'm aligning our curriculum that we're given by our faculty to have our students be successful. Not everyone can afford a $5,000, $6,000, or $10,000 laptop or piece of equipment. Being in a computer science department, we have very specialized curriculum, and obviously, with the emergence of AI learning and curriculum and programs, that's what we are tailoring that for. We have every need under the sun that we could think of, but that is one of the strong needs right now that we're buying for, which is AI tools.

Dell Business Laptops have supported our organization's hybrid team as follows: We're officially, I don't know if I can say that we're fully hybrid, but in practice, many of us are hybrid. It almost is having a hybrid solution out of the box. We have our students' lab, which is in-person, but mostly everything else is a hybrid solution. It's worked for us so far.

I feel Dell Business Laptops address the AI needs of my organization, and I will say that the Dell team has been fabulous to work with. They make it easy for us to purchase. I honestly think that's a huge plus for us working with them. As far as warranty support, the Dell team is very much accessible. They make it easy on us.

On the business side, we do consider other brands, and we've had faculty look into Puget, I think it is. We've looked into HP. We've looked into Lenovos. We have faculty who prefer Mac. A big one is MacBooks right now. Especially with, for example, the Neo, which serves a different use case than the big beefy GPU machines, but a $499 base model laptop that can provide basic cloud connectivity and web browsing, that's a big appeal for people. Especially if departments such as ours are providing GPU resources for students to use, it's a question of why someone would spend so much money for their own GPU when they can use the shared GPU and benefit from those resources. That has become an adaptation we're seeing, where people are moving towards Macs. We've got faculty that love Macs. We have faculty that despise Macs and will never touch them. I would say that that's one of the biggest disruptors in my opinion right now. But it really comes down to use cases. What are you going to use these machines for, and there are certain things that will make your decision for you.

We have deployed some thin client laptops since deploying Dell Business Laptops. I'll focus mainly on the business, beefy GPU laptop machines. Our students love them. They're not complaining at all. They're having a wonderful time with the ones that we've rolled out. Our faculty have enjoyed them. We're primarily a Dell shop. I would say satisfaction has been very high with those machines. Value requires being more selective about what you're picking out there. The Dell pricing is a little off in my opinion for certain models. It's a situation where if you go maybe ten percent more in cost, you're getting maybe twice the value of a machine. That can be challenging because if you have a set budget, you might not be able to spend that extra ten percent, but you're so close anyway in that spend that it is a little heartbreaking. I wish the pricing reflected that more.

To make the product a ten, I would suggest just addressing some details. For instance, we had this Pro MAX Plus 16. First off, the naming convention—I know it's changing again. The naming convention was confusing. Please don't do that again. Make it easy on your customers. Use fewer words in the name. Keep it simple. Precision works. You don't need to do Pro MAX Plus whatever. When we received these, three of the units that we received in the same shipment all had an issue with the preconfigured operating system, which was a pain to address. I think better quality control of the custom factory image integration process would be appreciated in that regard. More Linux validation would be helpful—we have a lot of Linux users and a lot of Linux faculty, and Dell is doing better about that, but some of these machines, when we go to buy them, they don't have that validation out of the box. We have to wait several months sometimes for that process to happen. The big thing is price—trying to keep that price in a reasonable range.

Pricing has been a challenge recently, and I would evaluate the pricing and licensing overall as follows: We have this $500 asset control limit, so when we're talking about budget devices such as thin clients, we don't want to tag three hundred of these going into our classrooms. It's been a challenge to keep it under that level. There are solutions, where we went with an older model, let's say Opti 3000 versus the new micro client. There are workarounds, and the Dell team is pretty good about working with us on that. But that's just how the market is these days. As far as costs go, if you need something, you need something. You got to make it work.

On a scale of one to ten, with one being worst and ten being best, I would rate the support as follows: In the past, I would rate it a ten. Currently, I would rate it an eight. We are going through some growing pains. We just moved and merged, and we have a brand new team and they're learning. I can't fault them for that. I have no doubt they're going to be stellar, but they are getting familiar with our account at the current time. Give them a month and I bet it'll be up to a ten again.

To another IT buyer or leader who is on the fence about choosing Dell Business Laptops for their commercial fleet, I would say give them a try. Work with the Dell rep and see what they can do for you. Obviously, it's not going to work for every institution, every place, every person. But in my experience, the Dell team has been very friendly, and they've been more than willing to bend over backward to try to find a solution that works for us. I have to give them credit there. I think if you're on the fence, try it. Work with Dell. They have an excellent seed program, they have a tester program, they have tools that you can use to see if that's a right fit for you.

If I were recommending Dell Business Laptops to a peer, I would say, can you find another system that has the support and the modules, the configuration, the options that you need to have it work. I think that's where Dell shines. For us, ease of purchase and ease of support matter. We know we can find a system that's configured to meet our needs. With other vendors, you get what you get, and sometimes it's harder to deal with their support.

I personally love Dell Business Laptops, and I would say the product itself is a solid nine.

I've had a great experience with Dell Business Laptops. I really enjoy working with their team. We've had a lot of changeover just with our institution, but every team that we've gotten has been rock solid. If they aren't, they very quickly become rock solid. It's great, and I love working with them. My overall rating for this product is nine out of ten.

We needed standardization when choosing Dell Business Laptops, ensuring everybody is on the same equipment, using the same software, and same drivers.

Our engineering staff is all on the Precision models, specifically using a lot of ProMax 14s, ProMax 14 Premiums, the 16s, some of the rugged models, the Tablet 13s, and a number of the rugged laptops, though I forget their model number.

Reliability is a top priority besides standardization in choosing Dell Business Laptops, as we need something that just works without fixing them every other day, along with the capacity to handle new workloads since a lot of new capabilities are coming out that we need to accommodate.

Most valuable to us, besides the features we have just mentioned, is upgradeability because we were unhappy when we went with soldered-on RAM. We understand why they did it, but it still sucks since we cannot upgrade them in place if we discover we need more RAM. The importance of reliable software is also critical. We have had some issues with drivers coming out that break other things, so stability in the systems is a really big priority for us.

From my perspective, software quality control is the big one for improving Dell Business Laptops in our business. Many drivers that come out have caused us to stop allowing self-updates because they often break other things and software, so stability and rigorous testing prior to deploying the software are crucial for us. Additionally, the USB-C board in the larger models, I think the 16s, is weak. If users punch them in hard or wiggle them around a lot, it breaks that connection, and you cannot charge your laptop until we fix it.

Our engineering staff is all on the Precision models, specifically using a lot of ProMax 14s, ProMax 14 Premiums, the 16s, some of the rugged models, the Tablet 13s, and a number of the rugged laptops, though I forget their model number.

We do have a certain degree of people working remotely, but it is primarily our contractor workforce, which is a sore spot for us as we try to figure out how to get them devices, manage those devices, keep them secure, and keep them online when they are out east, and I do not have anybody out that way.

If I were advising a peer considering Dell Business Laptops, I would say they are the standard. While there are issues, everybody has them, but there are a lot fewer issues than I have faced with HPs and Lenovos in the past. The support and community are important, and the customer service is there. Every Dell rep I have interacted with has been really good and helpful, even when I had to address concerns about the devices. They have always engaged with us to resolve the problems.

The security features of Dell Business Laptops are nice, but they are useless for us because we have our own stack. Everyone has their own stack, so we do not need more. With every new feature, such as BIOS-level encryption and tracking, it is great, but we already have similar capabilities in other places.

Satisfaction has gone up significantly since deploying Dell Business Laptops, as I know from polling the users. They tend to be happier with Dell than they were with HPs or Lenovos in the past. Standardization has helped, and we have achieved cost savings by being able to maintain one standard across the fleet, eliminating concerns about that.

I have been in the technology world for only 10 years, and coincidentally, my background is in historic restoration, so it was quite the pivot, all really born from the opportunity to fly drones on behalf of our company. Once I got into that aspect of our line of business, the light bulb went off. Then we introduced laser scanners, a level of artificial intelligence, and remote sensory technology. It was really easy to conceive where this type of new technology was going to fit in with our line of work.

Our top priorities when selecting Dell Business Laptops for our company are really making our user's needs fulfilled. Myself and Derek Wolford, who runs our IT department, really do not make that decision. Of course, we vet the products and what is being presented to us by the Dell sales team to make certain it will fulfill those needs. But really, our users dictate what kind of horsepower their work will necessitate. We have engineers and designers, we have surveyors who are collecting point cloud data from laser scanners, which require a pseudo supercomputer. We utilized very large Precisions back in the day before we decided that we wanted to go to a virtual desktop infrastructure environment. Depending on the type of work and the load our particular employees are lifting, it could be anything from a Precision i9 all the way down to a Pro i5. We work with our folks to make certain that we ask the correct questions, understand their need, and help them really dissect their true need. A lot of times, especially our engineers, say they need the best and the brightest. At the end of the day, it is more of a user mechanics type issue. Knowing that and even asking the tough questions helps define those troubled areas and allows us to dial into the proper solution. Dell Business Laptops, with all the offerings, allow us to have a multitude of options that can fulfill those needs.

Dell Business Laptops have done an excellent job of supporting our hybrid workforce, which is transportation infrastructure engineering. We design, inspect, and support our transportation infrastructure like roadways, bridges, highways, and facilities that help maintain them. It necessitates not just designers in the office but also bridge climbers and field inspectors for construction projects, needing to meet clients, do field measurements, or on-site design reviews. While we have 15 offices distributed in the US and around the world, we still have a field focus. Working with our Dell rep, we were able to find laptops with wireless cellular cards, so now, wherever we are, as long as we have a cell phone connection, we are able to operate as if we are sitting right back at the office. Flash forward to our VDI environment; we are able to work with our internal supercomputer just using a Dell thin client to access that network, which does not need to be an ultra-strong connection, just something that can hold a remote connection for a period of time.

One excellent feature that our end users really comment on is the screen quality. We are engineers, but we are not software engineers. Our folks focus on how it is being presented to them, and it is part of Dell Business Laptops' focus as well. We constantly receive comments on the quality of the screen, the brightness, and the backlit keyboard, enabling them to work on dark plane rides. The quality of the trackpad is another notable feature; other brands we have used often have trackpads that go dead. The simple features make the end-user experience a real quality experience.

When it comes to the more technical side, your partnerships with GPU producers and processors are the best-in-breed. We have the confidence that the features packed in are of the best quality and come with the best support, affirming that Dell Business Laptops is the device we want to utilize and standardize on.

One feature I think that Dell Business Laptops could improve upon is finding a way to increase a NIC card to handle a higher throughput of connectivity. Currently, we are fortunate to have a 10-gig network at our main office in Middletown, Connecticut. However, having a centralized VDI environment that all satellite offices tap into at the maximum capacity would be advantageous. If they currently have it and we are unaware, we will get in touch with our rep to find out. We know we are working towards that, as having 10-gig fiber connectivity without utilizing it fully is not beneficial.

We have been using Dell Business Laptops since really almost its inception, but at least the better part of 25 years. We are a 35-year-old company, so back then, the firm was basically founded on an old Tandy.

To be able to deploy a laptop that is easy to carry in a backpack, has a small size and form factor, because they do not need big 24-inch screens out in the field, actually scaled down and portable devices are really what is desired. A combination of all those factors really drives us in the direction of Dell Business Laptops. The sales staff at Dell Business Laptops is incredibly accommodating, very quick to get back to us, and advises us appropriately to fit our needs, not oversell, but gives us the proper solution to the problem that we have.

A measurable outcome since deploying Dell Business Laptops is definitely the cost aspect along with savings percentages. About five years ago, having a power user required a very expensive Precision desktop. Nowadays, Dell Business Laptops packs a punch in their laptops and has created a robust VDI environment that enables end users needing processing power to handle it remotely. If they want to use our centralized supercomputer that has more horsepower than the laptop, we can issue a thin client or a Pro with an i5. They can access the network as fast with the same speed, getting into that remote environment and dictate how much processing power they need.

I would elaborate on laptop capabilities, including cellular cards for operating devices anywhere with cellular connectivity, and share feedback on the clear screen quality and functioning keyboard that does not get sticky. The trackpad allows for mouse-less work essential in our industry.

Some require a bit more horsepower for design and data processing, while others might just be admin and marketing folks. In my organization, most people work with Dell Business Laptops. I saw some HPs there and sometimes, earlier we had used some ASUS ones. Now, it is most of the time Dell and HP and MacBooks. As I remember, we are around 50 people, so I would say around 30 will use Dell Business Laptops.

I am a developer and I use a lot of software here. Battery-consuming software is common in my work. In that case, I always work with the laptops around 10 to 12 hours per day. Most of the time the battery is plugged in. But sometimes, as I heard, it needs to switch off the charger at times. I do that for the battery life. In that case, I can manage with my laptop for two and a half hours with full functioning features. So I can manage around two and a half hours without charging.

Dell Business Laptops have excellent features that I appreciate from the two models I have used, both from the Inspiron line. One is the Inspiron 7573, which was a two-in-one foldable model. The other one is the Inspiron 15, the current one, the Inspiron 15 3530. I appreciate the first one because we can fold and use it as a tablet as well. Performance-wise, both have about 16GB RAM. Performance is the key thing for me because I am a software engineer, so the performance needs to be there.

In addition to that, both Dell Business Laptops are touch-enabled. In that case, we are building some UWP applications as well, so that helps me to work on that.

The AI-enhanced performance features in my Dell Business Laptops have influenced my productivity levels, particularly with the boot time. In the current one, it boots really fast. That is the main thing. If I sleep it, then it resumes working in very few seconds. That is one of the key things I appreciate about using my laptop. Also, with the enabled new Microsoft 365 Copilot, that helps me.

The dependability of Dell Business Laptops, with daily use and daily wear and tear, shows they are durable. I am using it daily and it has enhanced the battery life as well. In old days, I think around two years of time, you have to replace the battery sometimes. But now, with the new versions, the feature has been enhanced as I remember. That automatically enabled when it is plugged in and is discharged automatically without charging the battery.

In terms of areas that may have room for improvement in Dell Business Laptops, what comes to mind is the camera noise reduction. I feel this at the moment. Noise reduction of the camera is something I would improve. Sometimes when it comes to one and a half years or two years, the hard drive is running very fast. Windows updates are refilling our drives. That is something I am facing now. We have to remove the unnecessary files manually and that is a concern. That is the thing I am facing at the moment.

I have been using Dell Business Laptops for almost around 13 to 14 years in my career now. As a first laptop I used, it was a different brand for around three years. Now, around 10 years, I am using Dell Business Laptops.

Regarding stability of Dell Business Laptops, I do not have any crashes or downtime. So I would rate it around nine.

I would rate the scalability of Dell Business Laptops, with memory or capacity-wise, around seven out of 10. With the recent issues that I mentioned, when the update goes, the hard drive is filling up.

Regarding the ProSupport service for my Dell Business Laptops, I have not had that kind of experience because if there is any issue, we give it to our IT department, so they handle those things. I am not directly involved in that case.

I am not involved with support for Dell Business Laptops because I have not had that kind of scenario. The last laptop I had an issue with the battery. Then I asked my team to replace that and they asked one of our service providers to replace it. I think it took around four to five hours.

The other laptops or products I had used previously include two Dell Business Laptops at the moment. One is the Inspiron 7573, which is a two-in-one model. The current one is the Inspiron 15 3530.

The deployment or implementation of Dell Business Laptops is easy. There is nothing changed with that. It depends on the OS most of the time. So if you are running on Windows, most of the times it is similar to most other laptops because I have set that up on one of the ASUS laptops. The same thing happens. So I do not feel it is different between the platform and device-wise.

When I compare Dell Business Laptops with other vendors such as Lenovo, HP, and Apple, I have an HP personal laptop that is also a business laptop. Now, it was in the early days. Now I do not have that one and I have a Dell Business Laptops as well, another one. In that case, HP is always a little bit heating up. That is the issue that we had. It is a known thing that if you are going to HP, it heats up. Now they have, nowadays, with the new laptops, overcome that, but it still feels that way. But I feel sometimes you have to move to Lenovo because performance-wise, they have some top-edge ones there. Dell also have the same things, but price-wise, Lenovo is a little bit cheaper, I would say.

Dell Business Laptops were purchased as a direct purchase from the US market from our company. Then they shipped it to us. So that is how it worked.

Dell Business Laptops do not allow easy management by IT staff because there is nothing set up by the IT staff. We have to set it up by ourselves. It is already the inbuilt OS that comes. So that is the only thing that we have. The other software, we have to manage by ourselves.

The security posture of my Dell Business Laptops has improved significantly because I am not using anything else at the moment. So it always protects me and the firewalls are always active there. Dell Business Laptops have supported our organization's hybrid workforce exceptionally well, particularly during the COVID pandemic, allowing us to support a large number of users in our 250-acre greenhouse, where laptops are used near plants in challenging conditions, enabling us to perform tasks from general input to AI work at the edge.

Since switching to Dell Business Laptops, our end users have especially noticed improved battery life. Previously, we distributed power bricks for remote users in the greenhouse, but now they can perform their jobs without worrying about battery life, allowing for stronger AI workloads directly on their laptops without needing to upload to a server first.

Despite being a bit new to the platform, the single pane of glass for all devices allows for effective monitoring, giving us strong insights into our environment.

If I could improve Dell Business Laptops, I would like to see a return of the touched left-right mouse button, and I also wish for a thinner portable mouse. However, I love the thinness and battery life of the Latitude series, and a feature I would love is an easy button to switch between power efficiency mode and battery mode.

We deploy Dell Business Laptops to our end users and provide them with a specific image on the device. This is particularly convenient because they offer good battery life and other beneficial features.

We use ManageEngine software to deploy Dell Business Laptops for our end users. From there, we take the Dell laptop and connect it to a PXE server, where we drop the image into the laptop to begin the deployment process.

After deployment, we install all the standard applications such as Microsoft 365 and any other necessary software on Dell Business Laptops.

We use a variety of Dell Business Laptops, including Dell Wyse thin clients, Dell XPS, and Dell Precisions. We use almost the entire suite of Dell Business Laptops.

I appreciate the BIOS setup of Dell Business Laptops because it is intuitive and user-friendly. Every time you access the BIOS, there are always advanced settings available that allow you to fine-tune how the system performs. Whether you want more performance or better battery life, you can adjust all of that through the BIOS.

I prefer devices to have sufficient memory so they can handle multitasking effectively. At least 16 gigabytes of RAM is a minimum, but 32 gigabytes is ideal. I want them to have excellent battery life for people who travel and need that extra battery capacity, and strong performance so devices do not slow down and interrupt production.

I rate Dell Business Laptops an eight because they are excellent and easy to use, but sometimes the updates require two to three reboots to implement properly, depending on whether the device is experiencing issues. I would appreciate more detailed information about why updates are failing rather than just receiving a notification that the update failed.

Since I know Dell Business Laptops are looking to move into ARM processors, I would appreciate seeing more implementation and support for ARM X64 processors, such as Snapdragon.
