@Vivek Jaiswal We had to deploy DPA for that kind of reporting.  A daily summary of failed jobs and well as a 3 strike report that lets us know of any system that has failed 3 days in a row.

It would be nice to see more Security Hardening features built into the solution.   I.e., the ability to use Multi-Factor Authentication for administration and operation should be a standard option.  Also, missing today is an easy way to incorporate WORM & Immutable features…

I would add to Dovid's response.   We use both.  Avamar for remote sites and sites with WAN bandwidth constraints due to easy deployment\setup\support features of Avamar.   We dedicate NetWorker for the big DB's and some older legacy applications that require a bit more…

I agree with Leah... There are a bit more features/options with PowerStore, but the networking setup much more complex (too much if you ask me).   Currently, there's no support for replicated NAS, so that's a big issue within our environment.  The scale-out feature is nice…

Assuming you want to keep the data within the datacenter, there are a few options For Small deployments (~20-100TB's), you could mount share(s) on any backup (media) server and backup the data up over the network using a file-system agent - Veeam could easily support this.…

Answered a question: Is Cohesity Better Than Rubrik?
For us, Cohesity edged out Rubrik as the better solution Rubrik was close, but because we have a lot (100+) remote sites with different capacity requirements, Cohesity edged out Rubrik during our testing. Cohesity offers greater scale terms of size for virtual deployments…

We are evaluating this very question.  The best solution to protect onPrem systems  as well as Cloud based systems. For us, Cohesity appears to be edging out several of the other options. They have robust solutions for both onPrem (virtual & Physical) systems as well as Cloud…

Yes. Avamar can be deployed with storage nodes which don not "require" DD for back-end storage. However, large Avamar Grids can be quite pricey, so leveraging DD storage in larger environments tends to be more economical the more data you protect. For larger deployments, we…

Primary use case is for Enterprise Grade Backup and Recovery. It has a really great source-based dedupe technology that’s incremental forever. So it’s a really good backup solution for remote locations with limited bandwidth (WAN & LAN)

Contributed a review of Cohesity DataProtect: Its web-scale architecture enables us to scale up as needed

I agree with the other answers - With Data Domain, you still require a software solution to go with the back-end storage. I.e., Avamar, Networker, etc. Rubrik is a Software Defined Solution or can be deployed with its own set of hardware\storage.
