The data is always there, but running the report through the BW warehouse and everything took quite a while, and you need to custom integrate them. This is easily done with the SAP S/4HANA system.

I work in the stack, and I'm on the technical side. My customers span about 20 different industries, including public sector federal government, manufacturing, service vehicles, agriculture, and mining. I don't really have a specific area. In terms of the use case of the product, HCC is now legacy, and S/4HANA is the future product for those customers running ECC, whether they want to run it on-premises, in the cloud, or in the public cloud. There are obviously a few differences there. I don't get involved in the sales side since I'm on the technical side.

It has supported our client's digital transformation initiatives. There are two versions of S/4HANA: on-premise and on-cloud. We haven't seen many client use cases for the cloud version yet, mostly pilots and proof of concepts (POCs) on Azure. We sometimes convince clients to go for the cloud version for analytics purposes. However, 80-90% of the time, clients use the on-premise version. Clients run their entire enterprise on it, requiring customizations, which we help them with.

Based on certain prerequisites like company turnover and yearly revenue, SAP products or system licenses can be adopted. Based on the user licenses procured, whether on-prem or cloud, the solution can be managed by the vendor. SAP products are also adopted by all lines of businesses, including automotive and manufacturing. Our company not only implements SAP S/4HANA but also manages the migration from older versions to the latest SAP S/4HANA. For any dedicated projects with SAP S/4HANA, there are some taxation-based processes and procurement processes to develop or customize the solution.

Our biggest implementation was for a chemical company's software hub that was custom-built on an AS/400 mainframe and they wanted to move to an ERP system. After a six-month package selection process, we chose the solution combined with extensions provided by an implementation partner that added specific functionality and narrowed down customizations. Across all of our projects, there are 5,000 users of the solution.
It is used for financial accounting. We are a system integrator, and we have some customers using it. Some customers are on-prem, and we also have some customers on Azure.
Our organization is into the technology stack. Our customers are big companies from around the globe that all use SAP, either hosting it on public cloud, private cloud or on-premise.
