Fast and secure deployments simplify operations for government and fintech clients
It is a fast and secure DNS. It is very easy to deploy, and my customers are happy with this tool. Additionally, the CDN performance in Mexico is excellent, providing fast service and tools. It offers reliability during high-traffic periods, ensuring no impact on the environment. It helps my clients avoid using on-premise boxes, simplifying operations as they only use the prices on Cloudflare.

A stable solution that provides data protection and employee monitoring features in a single console
If a person wants to use a DLP product, they must know what data they want to protect and how to block, allow, and monitor data. We will not have any issues if the policies are correct and the user is authorized to perform the actions. Uninstalling is also pretty quick. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Distributors highly benefit from advanced data monitoring and seamless integration features
The Machine Learning capability could be improved, particularly in data discovery. When given sensitive data expressions, the system retrieves files that are not always related. The system should adhere strictly to the given expression rather than just focusing on keywords within the expression. In endpoint features, while the detection rate is good, there could be improvements in remediation and rollback solutions during attacks. Other solutions now include such options since providing 100% security is impossible. The flexibility varies across environments. Enterprise customers find the product performs well without affecting their data, with scans running as scheduled. However, SMB customers experience some performance issues during scanning. Since EDR is integrated, users must access the EDR console to check endpoint detections. It would be beneficial if this functionality were incorporated within the EPO console, as the current threat graphs link doesn't display endpoint threat graphs.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Cloudflare consolidates various capabilities into one product, streamlining processes."
"The solution offers the flexibility to control configuration rules."
"The most valuable feature is the web application firewall."
"When using services like Heroku, Cloudflare is very useful for CNAME flattening. I also use it for their end-to-end SSL with TLS authentication on nginx for securing servers."
"It is easier to configure and develop documentation to see how we have configured firewalls."
"The overall experience with Cloudflare is positive, with a rating of eight out of ten."
"Its most significant benefit to date is the speed with which it refreshes DNS records on the internet once you change it. If you are changing a website or registering a new record, it is very quick."
"Cloudflare offers CDN and DDoS protection. We have the front end, API, and database in how you structure applications."
"The product provides data protection and employee monitoring features in a single console."
"Trellix's technical support deserves a perfect rating, and I would rate it ten out of ten compared to other solutions."
"The support from both the vendor and Trellix is excellent."
"The best thing about Trellix DLP is its unified console that allows us to manage all products from endpoint protection to email protection, DLP, and many more, including SIM."
"I rate the product an eight out of ten."
"The solution is stable and does not have glitching issues."
"The most effective aspect of Trellix DLP is that it does what it's supposed to do. It is fairly simple to use compared to Proofpoint."
"Trellix DLP is a very good solution, easy to manage and handle, and newcomers find it user-friendly with an easy-to-use console and dashboard."
"It prevents enterprises from installing external software and devices and can block specific network pathways."

Cons

"An integrated SSO feature would be useful for Cloudflare DNS."
"The reporting can definitely be improved to offer a lot more explanation on something that may have happened or has actually happened."
"We have noticed multiple instances where Cloudflare falsely indicates that our servers are down, even when there is no actual load on them. This makes it challenging for us to identify the exact issue."
"The solution could work at being less expensive. It costs a lot to use it."
"It would be good if Cloudflare could have more servers for better traffic routing or an increase in the traffic routed. This is what I'd like to improve in Cloudflare."
"It would be beneficial for us if Cloudflare could offer a scrubbing solution. This would involve taking a snapshot of my website and keeping it live during a DDoS attack, ensuring uninterrupted service for our users. DDoS attacks are typically short in duration, and having Cloudflare maintain the site's availability from its secure network would enhance the overall user experience. I would appreciate it if Cloudflare could consider implementing this feature. Many organizations already utilize similar capabilities in their CDN platforms, where a static snapshot of the web page is displayed during DDoS attacks. In terms of features, Cloudflare needs to enhance its resilience and stay more focused on adopting new technologies. For instance, solutions like F5 XC Box, Access Solution, and Distributed Cloud Solution have impressive features, and Cloudflare should strive to match and exceed those capabilities. There's a need for improvement in areas like AI-based DDoS attacks and Layer 7 WAF features. Cloudflare should prioritize enhancements in areas such as behavioral DDoS and protection against SQL injection attacks, considering the prevalent trend of public exposure to the internet for business reasons. Overall, Cloudflare needs to invest more in advancing its feature set."
"The documentation could improve for Cloudflare DNS."
"I believe they currently have this feature, but there will most likely be integration with APIs so we can control some features through API."
"The user experience should be improved."
"During the initial setup of Trellix DLP, we faced challenges where the Trellix console buffers multiple times, taking time to reload when clicking on features, which needs improvement."
"In future releases, I would like to see like to see encryption available on the cloud-based version."
"Coverage for Mac OS is lacking as features like clipboard and print protection don't function as expected."
"The main issue I have currently is with technical support."
"When cases are raised, partners perform initial L1 or L2 troubleshooting. However, ticket resolution times are often too long, with new engineers sometimes requesting the same logs repeatedly."
"The bugs need improvement."
"Coverage for Mac OS is lacking as features like clipboard and print protection don't function as expected. The agents often affect endpoint performance negatively and do not behave consistently across all machines."
"Virtualization is complex and requires proper training. However, once you get trained, it is a very good product."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe their performance has improved, but I'd like to refrain from discussing the pricing aspect related to the cloud. The pricing, in my opinion, could be simplified, and I think they should consider reevaluating the pricing for support, as it can be quite high. At times, this cost can make it challenging to choose CARFAGuard or opt for the support."
"The product's pricing is minimal compared to other products."
"A free version of the solution is available."
"We are using the free tier of the solution."
"There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fees."
"We don't have any issues with the price."
"We are using the free version."
"The cost primarily depends on the size of the organization."
Information not available
"The pricing depends on the number of users in a company."
