ReadyAPI Test needs to improve its reporting. While reports provide essential information when issues arise, or tests fail, having more graphical representations directly within the reports would be beneficial. It needs to improve stability and scalability as well. The tool's support is slow, and takes months to reach a solution.

I was not impressed with how detailed their analytics and logs are from LambdaTest. The solution we were testing is being used because many of us are working from home. It was easy to implement because with a real phone, we have to bring a real phone to each person. Since three years ago, many employees have been working from home, so we were trying to find a solution for this challenge. We had no need to exploit the information for the analytics generated in the background. The purpose was simply to make it easy for our employees to access a phone. The downsides I noticed include that the pricing was very good, but the visual quality of the image sometimes suffers. The contrast on a real iPhone provides better contrast than with the cloud solution. The only aspect that was less favorable than on a real phone was the contrast of the color.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers excellent integration capabilities."
"The solution saves us a ginormous amount of time; we used to write our own solutions, from small scripts to task web services, so this saves us thousands of hours."
"In my personal experience, Soap UI NG Pro added a lot of value to our product."
"Using SoapUI's automation suites to run all our test cases saved us a lot of time. Running 300 test cases takes about three to four days. When you automate all that, it takes only two to three hours."
"I've majorly worked on SoapUI Pro, LoadUI and Service Pro and found all of them equally useful and very easy to understand tools."
"We are using SoapUI Pro as an API testing tool, and we do API building, testing, and tracking."
"SoapUI is very useful; before we started using SoapUI, we had to do everything manually, which is very time-consuming, and there were a few things we couldn't validate, but using SoapUI made everything easier, you can do six to seven hours of work efficiently, and it's more flexible to use."
"For the money this is a great tool."
"LambdaTest offers geolocation testing in automation, which is amazing!"
"It provides 2000+ browser-OS-resolution combinations to work with, which is perfect for our consulting firm, as we don't know what our clients may need."
"I was really surprised by LambdaTest; it was a very good service and for the price, I think it is a very good solution."
"I am really glad that there are tools like LambdaTest that help freelancers like me to make sure everything is okay before finally making a website live."
"HyperExecute adds significant speed to execution, enhancing the overall testing process."
"With LambdaTest, we could see improvements in identifying errors before our customer does."
"In case something goes wrong at LambdaTest end, the Support team is extremely responsive to analyze any platform-related issues."
"Using LambdaTest, we could run all our functionality tests across various browsers, OS, and resolutions."

Cons

"The documentation needs to be improved because the interface is not easy for a first-time user."
"For automation commands, it should be able to do what SmartBear is doing with ReadyAPI."
"Sometimes you have to reload the project when you are moving/reorganizing tests in a project."
"It is limited to scope and risk services only. It does have some support for JMS, but it is not out-of-the-box; you have to do some tweaks here and there."
"The UI should be improved a little."
"Working with Git needs to be improved. SoapUI 1.8.0 has this annoying habit of touching or changing many files that are unrelated to a test developer's actual change."
"Automation features are not user-friendly."
"ReadyAPI Test needs to improve its reporting. While reports provide essential information when issues arise, or tests fail, having more graphical representations directly within the reports would be beneficial. It needs to improve stability and scalability as well. The tool's support is slow, and takes months to reach a solution."
"Improvements on a platform need to happen on a timely basis...There should be some new features coming up or some performance improvisation over a period of time."
"Analytics could be better because as of now, it gives basic information on test status and build status."
"I feel that the automated screenshot testing takes a little longer on MacOS sometimes."
"If possible to simulate the finger pinch, it would make it more realistic."
"The downsides I noticed include that the pricing was very good, but the visual quality of the image sometimes suffers."
"It would be much easier for us to read the test if they provided dashboard analytics."
"The scalability is good with Amazon, but IBM had some issues."
"Sometimes, when multiple users use the tool simultaneously, it can slow down, affecting efficiency."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have team members who are working in shifts, and it is not possible for us to utilize a single license on a single piece of hardware so that multiple team members can use it. We have to take out multiple licenses for each team member."
"I think the number of users is also limited, considering how much we pay."
"It is free of charge."
"The Pro version can be expensive for some companies. There are no costs in addition to the licensing fees."
"ReadyAPI Test is expensive, and I rate its pricing a four out of ten."
"ReadyAPI Test is about $680 per user, per year."
"SoapUI Pro is open source but it has a subscription-based model which involves some more features. At the moment we are using the free version. The Pro version requires a license, and it is an annual license to use it."
"The cost is not that bad."
"The tool is not cheap, but it is not expensive."
"The pricing for LambdaTest is affordable, and one of the reasons we implemented it."
"From the customer side, LambdaTest is cheaper for big company usage and works fine as other similar applications."
"It is free to start, which means you can actually see how it works and then take the decision to buy."
"I used the product for free."
"LambdaTest is on the cloud, offers both free and paid plans which start at $19 USD per month."
"LambdaTest's pricing is cheaper than that of other similar platforms."
"It is affordable as compared to similar SaaS solutions."
