Unified vulnerability data has reduced risk and currently cuts duplicate tools and license costs
Seemplicity can be improved by adding additional graphs and charts that make it easier to do trending over time. I had to do some of that manually via manual reports, but Seemplicity already has a feature request for this. Seemplicity has done a pretty good job of keeping up with integrations. One gap that I identified and that Seemplicity is trying to fill now is having a complete end-to-end mapping. Seemplicity currently looks at the external attack surface using tools like Censys, and then looks at the internal side, examining what is in AWS and other clouds using CSPM. However, there is not anything that currently ties a property on the outside to a system on the inside, especially when you have additional security layers like web application firewalls that actually mitigate the risk.

Exposure monitoring has provided clear risk insights but still needs stronger cloud and data posture
I believe there are two to three areas where Rapid7 Exposure Command can be improved. First, cloud integrations and the ability to assess cloud posture are essential components of an organization's external attack surface nowadays. Rapid7 Exposure Command has the cloud posture assessment feature, but in my opinion, it should be linked with cloud compliance requirements being introduced locally and internationally. Secondly, regarding data criticality, Rapid7 Exposure Command integrates the DSPM feature, which stands for Data Security Posture Management. I believe this feature is present, but it requires enhancement with global data protection regulations such as GDPR. I am learning about more features in products such as Rapid7 Exposure Command. I mentioned cloud posture assessment across Oracle Cloud, Azure Cloud, and AWS Cloud. Features specific to these cloud offerings would be beneficial. With AWS having separate cloud offerings, Rapid7 Exposure Command must cover all available AWS offerings and relevant services. To be honest, this is an area where I am still learning, so I cannot provide a precisely detailed answer.

Unified dashboards have streamlined code‑to‑cloud risk tracking and reduced manual reviews
The best features of Wiz Code that I appreciate the most include their entire dashboarding and the seamless integration with different DevOps tooling like GitHub or Azure DevOps. It seamlessly integrates, allowing you to run scanners directly onto the machines without consuming too many resources, and the recategorization of vulnerabilities is absolutely wonderful, giving you a complete attack path, which is something I love about Wiz Code because it details the entire lateral movement of the issue, whether it is a complete shift-left or shift-right, serving as the differentiators compared to other tools in the market. When I talk about ROI with Wiz Code, it almost cuts you down to 20% to 25% of the daily effort needed in terms of FTE. If you are working with around 100 developers or engineers, you might come down to 60 to 70 engineers, with the rest completely automated by removing false positives, showcasing where the USP comes in.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"Seemplicity has helped us see a return on investment by reducing the need for an L1 analyst for AppSec findings through its categorization, deduplication, and automatic remediation assignments, which has significantly decreased the headcount required for initial analysis."
"Before we really struggled with meeting SLAs that were in place because we did not have the information we needed and there was too much back and forth, now we nearly have a perfect SLA meeting time."
"When we started with Seemplicity, we saw an 85% reduction in the number of tickets through deduplication, and that is significant for our teams who are swamped with issues."
"Seemplicity has positively impacted my organization by helping reduce the overhead for our SecOps team to manually create vulnerability tickets."
"I think of Seemplicity as a fantastic company and a fantastic partner to work with."
"Seemplicity is helping us generate immense ROI in terms of helping secure our infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and understanding vulnerabilities that we really did not have a good process of understanding before."
"Seemplicity is doing amazing work, and organizations were able to better meet their SLAs, better communicate to their leadership and executive level about the overall risk and exposure levels, and overall have a better understanding of what they are dealing with."
"We have seen improvements in remediation rates, as initially a lot of our metrics were in the red, but now all are in the green or yellow."
"Rapid7 Exposure Command provides me with satisfaction knowing that my external attack surface and digital risk are being monitored."
"Compared to Tenable or Qualys, Rapid7 Exposure Command is definitely affordable for small-sized or mid-sized engagements, although there are some challenges with detection."
"Wiz Code offers minimum false positive vulnerabilities, which is the best feature and meets expectations for the tool."
"I would definitely recommend Wiz Code to boost development and productivity because I have seen significant positive improvements since I started using it."
"Wiz Code is a platform that serves most of these features as a single entity, which has definitely reduced the time for triaging the security aspects of vulnerabilities and helps in overall innovation for the team."
"Wiz Code has positively impacted our organization as it helped us to maintain a healthy application security side of the company and to remediate our vulnerabilities."
"Wiz Code has positively impacted my organization because it is better on a daily basis; we receive new cases, and it is easy to analyze and take care of them."
"Using Wiz Code has been a worthy investment, as manually checking all 100 AWS accounts for issues would take an immense amount of time, but Wiz Code allows us to scan all accounts within minutes and continuously monitors our cloud environment every 24 hours, displaying any changes in the Wiz Code UI under the issues and threats section."
"Overall, Wiz Code is a very good tool to use in any organization, whether mid-level or high-level, and it is very useful and user-friendly for employees."
"The best features of Wiz Code that I appreciate the most include their entire dashboarding and the seamless integration with different DevOps tooling like GitHub or Azure DevOps, allowing you to run scanners directly onto the machines without consuming too many resources, and the recategorization of vulnerabilities is absolutely wonderful, giving you a complete attack path, which is something I love about Wiz Code because it details the entire lateral movement of the issue, whether it is a complete shift-left or shift-right, serving as the differentiators compared to other tools in the market."

Cons

"Every tool, including Seemplicity, can improve, and I think it needs to further enhance its deduplication capabilities and understand how to integrate with more security tools, especially as new AI security tools emerge."
"As the account is growing, some of the dashboards are slowing down, so optimizing that could be one area for improvement."
"Seemplicity can be improved by adding additional graphs and charts that make it easier to do trending over time."
"The capability out of the box today is decent, but over time, if we can allow users and organizations to build their own view and how they want to report on things, that would be a great value add."
"Seemplicity could use more improvement around the user interface."
"Seemplicity could be improved with some of the aggregation accessibility. Currently, it is a bit of a black box and can be a bit of a bottleneck."
"For Seemplicity, I would say two things for improvement. First, reporting customization could go further because this industry is evolving; the CEO tries to get much information that they are looking for."
"Rapid7 Exposure Command is not as easy to deploy compared to Qualys, and the detection rates are lower than Qualys."
"In the Pakistani market, Rapid7 Exposure Command's pricing is on the expensive side, and that represents one of the challenges we are facing."
"Timely responses from customer support for Wiz Code are not being received. Service requests are raised, but proper responses are not provided."
"I have a big improvement in mind for Wiz Code, not a small improvement."
"The pricing of Wiz Code is a little bit higher for small enterprises that I run, but it's something that I can manage."
"There are many improvements that could be made to Wiz Code, but I would point out that sometimes it gives false results, though not every time."
"Metadata ingestion and probably the integration of Wiz Code platform is something which is missing."
"One noticeable aspect is that we are receiving some false positives, but this is better compared to the previous tool I used."
"Regarding pricing, I would say that the pricing model is a little bit hefty on the pocket."
"Wiz Code could be improved by showing us the dependencies that are affecting us; if we are upgrading one dependency, it would be helpful to know if down the road that's going to cause any problems with other dependencies."
