We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We really appreciate the process automation and how can you create human tasks as one of your processes.""AppWorks is a very quick development platform with low-coding capability and strong integration with third-party systems.""We've automated several processes, including purchase requisition to purchase orders, RFQ processes, vendor onboarding, project budgeting, and business case creation. The recent versions of OpenText AppWorks, especially those incorporating low-code functionalities, have had a significant positive impact. In some cases, we've observed a remarkable reduction in development time, ranging from 50 to 75 percent. The MTP model and life cycle have facilitated rapid development cycles.""In terms of the scalability and the handling of complexity, the customers are satisfied, and we also have confidence in the solution to achieve whatever implementations are required.""From a business perspective, the most valuable aspect lies in the optimization of processes.""The monitoring aspect is highly valuable, as it offers an exceptional capability to track every minute of action performed by a business user in the global context.""OpenText AppWorks has standard features such as system-to-system and human-to-human integrations, but what I find most valuable in the solution is its monitoring feature that tells you more about your processes, how to restart and how to stop each process, etc.""One of the most useful features is the code is customizable, we can make it our own."

"Creatio also provides us with scalability, performance and agility.""It is a low-code platform, that is very intuitive.""It enables automating tasks and provides self-service options, ultimately improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.""The most valuable feature of this solution is its simplicity.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is a low-code and no-code platform.""The low-code tools and business process management that Creatio provides are useful for our internal processes. It is also very easy to use.""The most valuable features are performance, built-in variety of multiple task automation, and has international standards notations.""Studio Creatio is a very good and complete solution. It is very stable, and for customers who need a good response time, in the public cloud, Creatio provides the possibility to have a private server for a high level of transactions and good response time. Their support is great. They are very good, and they know the solution very well. Their response time is also great."

Cons
"There is room for improvement in the pricing structure.""OpenText AppWork's low-code capabilities can be enhanced by integrating them with AI offerings like Aviator.""The integration could improve.""The crucial missing element is the archival function.""The solution needs to continue to enhance the low-coding feature within the product itself.""A room for improvement in OpenText AppWorks is its user interface. It should have mobile compatibility because right now, you still have to make two applications with a user interface for Android and a user interface for iOS, so if OpenText AppWorks can provide one UI that can be used across all devices, that would make the solution better. An additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of OpenText AppWorks is a better UI in terms of the look and feel. Another feature I'd like to see in the next version of the solution is mobile compatibility because, at the moment, you have to make your application mobile-ready or compatible with mobile devices because there's no provision for it in OpenText AppWorks.""AppWorks could be improved by including BPM simulation.""There could be some improvements with the low code design part. It could be more customizable and more user friendly."

More OpenText AppWorks Cons →

"Numerous options can make implementation confusing.""HRM is an area where Studio Creatio lacks and needs to improve.""The solution does not allow extensive customization of the UI. I would like to have much more control over the UI when I build a process. Currently on the UI where the fields are placed and the layout is set in place and you cannot change it. Your experience is going to be the same throughout whatever use case that you are building from customer to customer. You can not have much control over how it looks for each customer. This is an area where they can improve on.""It does not have the ability to run one single large process.""The mobile version of the solution could be improved. It's hard to customize it.""I can have several types of contacts, customers, employees, partners, and so on, and I would like to have a different view for each type of contact in the list view. Currently, there is no way to configure this. This is something I would like Creatio to improve. In this time of COVID, it is very important that all such solutions improve omnichannel communications and omnichannel marketing. Companies need to communicate with customers by using not just the phone number and email but also by using social networks. All companies today need artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things, and social communication.""It appears that at times, our partners might be using Google Translate, resulting in translations lacking context and not being entirely understandable.""They can improve the business rules for defining the type and quantity of the business load. They already seem to be working on this improvement. Integration with the social networks will be very appreciated by the companies. It will be very useful for communication between the company and customers, that is, B to C relationships. Most of the customers or users have smartphones, and they use a lot of social networks. Companies need to stay connected with the customers. They have enabled integration with WhatsApp and Telegram in recent releases, which has been very useful."

  • "The licensing cost varies based on several factors, such as the size of the customer and the domain URL."

  • "There is a license required for this solution."
  • "The pricing plans are not user-friendly because in many cases you have to buy different options to get additional features."
