Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Automated email replies have saved hours daily but still need broader workflow integration
The features of Moveworks that I have not fully explored include some features I would actually like. Fully automating the passing of entries and automating entries generation would be valuable. For example, if I have a finance staff that is continuously passing an entry for me, I want a situation whereby it can pass that entry automatically and post it based on the synchronization and command which I have configured. I believe some other bot applications are doing something similar. If all these work tools can be put together to automate this kind of process, it will be very great. Major things I would want Moveworks to do more of - I do not know whether this functionality is already there - I want it to perform the work of bots so I can quickly automate some other applications to it, such as passing some entries. That is one request. Secondly, regarding the integrations of bots of Moveworks with other applications, I would appreciate if there were a step-by-step process for all standardized applications such as WhatsApp, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and some TeamViewer and other applications that are work tools. The step-by-step synchronization and integrations of these things, if it can be posted on the website, would make it much easier for people who want to do the synchronization instead of doing a lot of research before it gets done.

Macros and automation have streamlined workflows and reduced manual effort across support teams
The ability to communicate on the Zendesk ticket through the actual user software, so TOPs, would have been helpful. Somehow seeing a user's ticket history within our app would have been beneficial. That is the only thing that I do not think existed at the time that might have been helpful. Some people struggled with Zendesk, but it was always easy enough to show them how to use it and what they were missing. The only times we really had people report concerns about it was when they did not understand that it could do that or how to use it in that way.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the ability to transform data into clusters."
"Learning Automation Anywhere prepares our students for a better future because the future belongs to RPA Automation."
"The thing I appreciate most about Automation Anywhere is how integrated the aspects of it are."
"We use AA Client, Bot runners, Control room, IQ Bot, Bot insights. With the AA Client, we are able to automate almost all kinds of automation requirements without any big challenges. We found the availability of the number of commands provided by AA is really helpful to do automation within a small time frame."
"Automation Anywhere has presented us with a platform that is easily accessible from a web interface, enabling us to write code for RPA scripts without having to download a dedicated software application."
"Automation Anywhere has helped save many man-hours in my organization by letting us automate monotonous and repetitive tasks."
"Not all tools give us the clear utilization of the infrastructure in place but this does and trust me, this has been proved far better than other RPA tools and that is why I see AA booming day by day."
"We recently switched to document automation that comes with the bundle. It is a good feature because earlier, we needed to purchase a separate license for IQ Bot, but now the enterprise license includes the DA license. This eliminates the need for an additional license for document automation."
"Moveworks has reduced many tasks from us, saving an average of one to two hours per day because emails that used to take ten to fifteen minutes to compose are now getting done within two minutes, sometimes even when I am not there."
"Moveworks has positively impacted our organization by lowering ServiceNow service desk calls by 90%, as users now prefer to ask questions through Moveworks in Teams before calling for help."
"Moveworks has reduced employee time because initially, employees used to spend so much time going to the third party to do all those jobs, and now they can simply do it via Otter, which is Moveworks, and this has saved much time and provided accurate results as well."
"The solution saves us approximately three-quarters of a million dollars per year."
"The way it’s set up makes it very easy for agents, end-users, and administrators to use."
"It is a scalable solution."
"Zendesk has had a positive impact on my company by increasing efficiency and also increasing customer satisfaction."
"Largely, we have been happy with its capabilities."
"All companies with high standards should use Zendesk because it's a reliable tool, constantly improving the old features and also bringing new ones on the market, in accordance to their customers’ needs."
"One of the most valuable features is the ease of use. If you take the standalone product, it is so easy to use, but if you want a tailor-made Zendesk Guide, you can't do it yourself. However, you can use a template that already exists—they have a lot, and they're very cheap, around 300-400 euros—and use it on all your brands. It's a very easy product to use."
"Our CS team has been able to quickly and effectively run through customer inquiries using the Zendesk platform."
"What is cool about Zendesk Guide is how it works together with others Zendesk products. Especially with support and with the analytics. Put those together for a small or medium-sized company and it's a really powerful tool."

Cons

"There is still a way to go for Automation Anywhere where we can see improvement."
"Instead of depending on other open-source BPM products, AA should provide their own BPM for attended automations."
"If you are not on-premise, then you will need to have Citrix automation."
"Sometimes, the files are getting corrupted and this causes us a lot of trouble."
"Automation Anywhere will sometimes announce releases or updates in their roadmap, and we wait for them, but they do not happen on time or at all."
"In order to score nine or ten, they still need to provide more flexibility and integration with other tools and options."
"The UI could be made better because the UI in Version 11 was better and easier as compared to a2019."
"The accuracy in Web Recorder needs to be improved, defective outputs found most of the time (not sure if is a website side issue)."
"It is still not perfect enough, but we are working on it to make sure it is very perfect."
"There is always room for improvement, though it depends on how complicated one wants to make it."
"Customer support has been adequate; I would rate it around seven out of ten, as support often forwards cases to developers after collecting details."
"More use cases can be added to the agent marketplace and the YAML or the DSL methods can be simplified, adding more methods to make it easier for us to create compound actions."
"The reports could be more fine tuned to enable better handling of tickets by individual agents and teams."
"The solution itself wasn't easy to set up."
"We had to modify extensively the reporting features to be meaningful to our business."
"Reporting by Tags – this is not as effective as allowing reps to disposition tickets themselves."
"An area of opportunity for Zendesk is probably just when there's a long email chain and everything gets forwarded to support, I know it can be time consuming for them to extract the important information from the email chain."
"My one negative critique would be the user interface. It's pretty busy and isn't the most user friendly; at times it is hard to navigate through or understand where you're at."
"Sometimes if there was a way to just flag the actual issue out of those email chains - that would be really helpful."
"I'm going to piggyback on what I said regarding Freshdesk concerning what could be better in Zendesk: incorporate more AI."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I would rate the cost of Automation Anywhere as a six out of ten, with ten being the most expensive."
"I don't deal have cost specifics but I can say it is a tool that provides value for the money."
"Automation Anywhere falls within a mid-range price point when compared to other RPA tools on the market."
"It's an ideal pricing model to customize the components based on everyone's needs."
"Talk to your manager and try to procure an automation license for training. This will allow you to train people, so you can move to automation."
"The pricing and licensing are definitely moderate to costly but easily recoverable by achieving ROI quickly."
"In terms of pricing, it's not at all cheap, and that's a concern. The licensing cost is very high. While I don't know the exact prices of other tools, Microsoft offers the lowest pricing for its RPA platform compared to UiPath and Automation Anywhere."
"The cost is high for small-scale businesses but it is fine for medium and large enterprises. Its high licensing cost may affect small-scale businesses. Reducing licensing costs would benefit many users."
Information not available
"You have to pay extra for better support. So it's not only the license that you pay for, but you have to pay extra for the support as well."
"Zendesk's licensing is not cheap. For Enterprise, we are paying $200 per agent. It's a per-month cost, so it's pretty steep. There are some services you need to pay extra for. For example, with Zendesk Guide, we had to buy the most expensive offering in order to get Multibrand and everything. We also had to pay a lot of money for themes."
"From what I hear, Zendesk's pricing is a little expensive."
"The price is very competitive."
"There are different plans that are offered. We are using the entry-level plan. The overall price of the solution should be reduced. The price is too high."
"We pay for the solution on a yearly basis and my understanding is that the cost is about $30,000. That's the cost for 24 to 25 agents."
