Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Automation has reduced large call centers and provides real-time outbound support for patients
Kore.ai is a low-code platform, and you do not necessarily have to be an expert in artificial intelligence or generative AI to use this platform. However, if you have that experience, it will be a valuable add-on. The main advantage is that it has almost every kind of plugin available to use, whether for live agents or if you want to use it as a call center. You have real-time capabilities and the most useful plugins available, with almost every kind of model available with configurations. We can configure the ML models and train them. The platform is very user-friendly with explanatory features and a great UI. One significant feature is the live testing platform with Kore.ai. When you are creating a workflow, you have an interactive, real-time testing platform that reflects every change you make. This makes it easy to debug errors or add new features. Additionally, Kore.ai has many different tools and platforms that cater to different needs, whether for a call center, normal workflow, or machine learning workflow, which is really useful. Because of Kore.ai, it was much easier than creating something manually. A low-code platform always helps, and when that platform has this much capability, it provides far more value than manual development. It was particularly helpful for our team that we could create a POC and get that project into production. Kore.ai helped our team build a generative AI outbound calling chatbot, and it truly helped our customers. If you have a hospital with a thousand employees in a call center, you might consider outsourcing. However, with Kore.ai's outbound calling capabilities, you can eliminate the outsourcing part. You do not need a thousand call center employees. You can accomplish this through automation with just one or two employees if people need to switch to agents. This represented a significant cost reduction.

Has helped automate repetitive tasks and streamline content summarization across teams
For analytics, I prefer using the Power BI platform instead of Microsoft Copilot Studio. When it comes to analytics, though it gives the right insight, the visuals are not of great quality, or sometimes they don't appear at all. For instance, when creating charts of sales on a quarter-on-quarter basis or month-on-month basis in a bar graph or pie chart, Microsoft Copilot Studio doesn't perform adequately. Anything requiring image creation or graphs and plots is not optimal. The graphing features are missing in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Although image creation is available, it lags at times, similar to any other LLM module. When creating content based on graphs or CIO presentations, these features are not developed to a great extent.

Pros

"We offer them a cost and time-effective solution for repeated and time-consuming processes, which surely help a lot in terms of improving quality."
"Several manual, repetitive, time-consuming processes were automated, giving back time to the process owner, and for most of them the process now follows a single standard with additional controls created."
"From a technical perspective, developers can easily create bots and get things done with this tool."
"Some of the really impactful features of working with Automation Anywhere are the ability to design and partner with their experts to come up with our solutions."
"One of the strengths of Automation Anywhere is its user-friendly interface, which makes it accessible even to those without a development background."
"Automation Anywhere has a great learning curve, and we have automated processes through bots that ease our work by handling repetitive tasks and minimizing effort and work inefficiencies."
"The most valuable feature is its easy to use."
"I love the Bot Store. I encourage a lot of my staff to use it, because it changes the game and the time that it takes to build automation. It has a lot of reusable things that you can use off the bat."
"The best feature of Kore.ai is that it is a cost-saving tool because when we use IVR, we have to assign agents at the backend, but using Kore.ai, we can automate all of those functions."
"Kore.ai offers many valuable features, particularly its extensive array of connectors, allowing easy integration with various ERP systems and the straightforward implementation of webhooks and APIs."
"Kore.ai helps in operational efficiency and faster time-to-market, which is development velocity."
"Kore.ai helped us integrate a lot through documentation and trial and error, making it straightforward to integrate overall, resulting in a very good experience for first-timers."
"Kore.ai has positively impacted my organization, as it saved a lot of time in implementation and the proof of concept was very fast to implement and easy to develop."
"Kore.ai has positively impacted my organization because we are implementors, and I would say that approximately 80% of our income comes from developed projects with Kore.ai."
"It impacted my organization by helping us move into being AI-native, and it helped a lot to show other clients that we have worked in AI."
"Kore.ai has positively impacted my organization by simplifying the process of responding to emails and streamlining the workflow, saving me considerable time."
"Microsoft Copilot Studio has helped enhance my development process quite a lot."
"Starting with Microsoft Copilot Studio for product projects, especially for POC and MVP, accelerates the creation and demonstration to clients, helping them interact with and understand the solution before discussing further improvements."
"The integration part in Microsoft Copilot Studio is something I really appreciate because it's very easy to integrate with anything, and the main reason we chose this Studio is its simplicity in developing and building workflows and interconnecting things, especially when it comes to public cloud; life is quite easy."
"The use case involves intelligent code assistance, UI, UX, and integration parts."
"We have achieved approximately 60 to 70% productivity gain using Microsoft Copilot Studio."

Cons

"We want to have greater control on deciding when we want to upgrade to a newer version"
"While the ease of use for non-tech users is good, it could be improved."
"The integration is not always seamless. Sometimes, it takes a while to get everything to communicate and be ready to go into production."
"One area requiring improvement is the debugging process. When I use a multi-structure with conditions to switch from one bot to another, successful debugging of the entire process is not feasible. Each bot has to be debugged individually."
"I hope that Automation Anywhere can further optimize its bots to help automate tasks with Microsoft Word documents and Microsoft PowerPoint documents because, in most organizations, there is a lot of reporting required."
"One key feature for improvement I have been providing feedback on through the MVP program is enhancing natural language conversation to action. The Automation Anywhere product team is actively putting this feature into their roadmap, which I believe is crucial."
"It is very difficult to create and automate timetables because they are modal, and it would be helpful if the bot could assist us with this."
"The pricing is a little bit high compared with other tools."
"The two points I deduct relate to the integrations, which were not as extensive as I initially expected."
"One thing I have learned is the unpredictability of LLMs and how buggy Kore.ai is as a software."
"In support, the team is not the greatest, but it works."
"I choose 7.5 out of 10 for Kore.ai because a few things already need to be improved, one of which I have mentioned."
"In my experience, Kore.ai is not stable."
"To improve Kore.ai, I suggest focusing on more agentic automation, such as offering MCP kind of features with an orchestration layer for use cases."
"Customer support is where Kore.ai has significant room for improvement. Post-implementation support is a particularly discouraging aspect for me."
"I rated Kore.ai an 8 out of 10 because additional features could be added to it."
"The price for Microsoft Copilot Studio can definitely be improved, as small organizations find it very difficult to manage the subscription."
"I feel that the pricing and licensing methods of Microsoft Copilot Studio are not very conducive."
"For analytics, I prefer using the Power BI platform instead of Microsoft Copilot Studio."
"While Microsoft Copilot Studio can create documents and add information, it does not do so accurately, and this is an area that needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost for scalability is much cheaper than developing a new system."
"We would like them to change the license model of charging per bot."
"Automation Anywhere has an advantage in terms of licensing. It is more cost-efficient compared to all other RPA platforms. It is a recommended solution when clients need a cost-efficient automation tool to perform unattended automation."
"My understanding is that the license cost of Automation Anywhere is more reasonable than UiPath and Blue Prism."
"Regarding the price, licensing, and maintenance, Automation Anywhere provides its customers with its best and affordable value."
"Talk to your manager and try to procure an automation license for training. This will allow you to train people, so you can move to automation."
"Automation Anywhere is competitive... Pega is somewhat comparable, but Pega also requires a lot more infrastructure and a lot more experience to get up and running."
"They give us a good deal on the licensing because we bundle and customize things. If you ask to get a bulk business deal, you will receive more benefit. If you take other products from the suite, like IQ Bot, you can also receive a deal on the licensing."
