"Material planning and predictive planning are both essential aspects.""The most valuable feature is its ability to handle products with up to 2,500 components, making it valuable for streamlining complex business operations.""It's fast, predicts well, and is basically the best tool in the market for the automotive industry and network planning projects.""I like the tool’s multisite functionality.""LN is definitely a stable product. It's number one on Gartner's four quadrants.""We have definitely seen a return on our investment with the product.""The best feature of this solution is it comes as a complete bundle. The solution has effective project, document, and application management. Additionally, the collaboration is fantastic, it is well integrated, and can be customized.""The best thing about Infor LN is that you can use it for inter-company business and for international businesses, especially by mid-sized and big companies."

Cons
"The user interface is not very intuitive for newer users.""When it comes to planning, it's more challenging to consider the entire structure, such as having a specific SKU and wanting to look at the planning for the whole structure. You must delve into individual item details to plan for it with order planning. Therefore, improvements will allow more comprehensive planning for each SKU.""Only people who undergo training from the companies can learn about Infor products.""Regarding areas for improvement within the solution, I would say that the solution's asset management and quality management need attention.""The tool is expensive. It needs to refine its planning details.""The user interface needs to be improved.""From a customers' perspective, Infor LN covers most of the processes in the company, but sometimes, they have to choose other tools because of the functionality or the cost of the Infor solution. It covers the core functions of the company—such as financial, operations, logistics, and so on—very well, but it doesn't cover some parts such as invoices, digitization, etc.""It's not that intuitive."

"Any request that had come from the website had to go through an e-form which was then plugged into Microsoft Dynamics NAV. There was no direct data capture. That was the pain point, where clients had to build e-forms, and that caused delays in transactions and getting information.""The stability could always be improved.""There is some network issue.""The solution is stable, but it could improve.""There are some aspects of the solution that is complex.""Some of the control aspects such as auditing can definitely be improved. For example, auditing is not very easy, and the user permissions are complicated.""The formulas in Power BI could be simpler. Sometimes, it's difficult to figure them out, but I am part of a lot of communities that work with us, so we help each other.""The product should improve work optimization."

  • "Infor LN is a free solution, and everything is included in the package, such as add-ons."
  • "The licensing costs for this solution are payable annually. Standard licenses are available, but there is also the option to pay to add extra features."

  • "The first time we tried to buy the newest version, it was expensive."
  • "I have some subscription-based customer and a few customers who have perpetual licenses that hosted the application on the cloud."
  • "The price of the solution is reasonable."
  • "The price of the solution is reasonable."
  • "I think the pricing is the best; it's cost effective for sure."
  • "Microsoft Dynamics NAV has a pay-as-you-use payment model."
  • "NAV might be a little pricey for a small or medium-sized company, but all the solutions out there are."
  • "The cost is one of the benefits. If you don't want to go for the full-blown finance and operations, the pricing model is a lot cheaper and has now switched to being based on a per-user subscription. So, if it's on cloud, you now have an expense instead of a large CapEx. If it's on-prem, you obviously still have to continue with the licensing model that they have, but if you compare the features and functionality, in terms of the price that you pay, I find it's better than other products. My answer on the pricing would be slightly different, depending on the country you're in and the return on investment, based on the size of the company. It's well-priced internationally. I think the new model is priced even better because it's now subscription-based and, if you go for cloud, the return on investment is a lot quicker and if it's expense, you can cap it. If you do take the on-prem version, the licensing is still priced as what it used to be, so that would depend on what country you are in."
