Have increased security by regenerating credentials after each use and gained confidence through session oversight
We do not specifically use the password vaulting feature of CyberArk Identity. The centralized user dashboard of CyberArk Identity has not been that important for us. If it would be possible to share accounts between vaults in CyberArk Identity, that would be very beneficial. Account sharing between vaults is one of the most important aspects for us. It was pretty complex to implement CyberArk Identity. We had some help from a partner, and that helped a lot. But even for the partner, it was really difficult to streamline the process of implementing. We had sometimes an issue that really took days during the implementation to fix. That was something that I did not appreciate about the whole implementation. It should be much more straightforward, specifically because you're doing a SaaS implementation. I rate it a seven because vendor support is difficult to get. Basically, you have to go through a partner to get support with CyberArk Identity. That's another thing that they could improve.

User-friendly experience and customization of workflow with certain scripting challenges
Netskope could benefit from enhancements in its scripting capabilities. While they offer numerous predefined templates, there are instances where customers may require customized templates to meet specific requirements. Creating these templates often involves scripting, which can include algorithms and logical expressions. Many end-users and customers may not possess the necessary knowledge to develop these scripts, making it challenging. Netskope could consider implementing a user-friendly interface with a 'pick and choose' option that allows users to select and configure components from existing templates, making the customization process more accessible.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We haven't encountered any problems with respect to the stability of this solution; it is very stable."
"As soon as it is implemented, it fundamentally changes how users access systems, providing immediate security benefits."
"The best features in CyberArk Identity that I appreciate most are the recent updates that have added features in the cloud privilege environment, including Secure Infrastructure Access, Secure Cloud Access, and Secure Web Sessions."
"I like the RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). It basically involves defining various roles, and then simply assigning those roles to users."
"The best feature of CyberArk Identity is the single sign-on feature that offers quick and one-click access."
"If anyone makes an error, or if an incident occurs by accident, the business will not be harmed as a result of this activity."
"The user identification is simplified, and managing user privileges, whether adding or revoking them, is also quite straightforward when utilizing CyberArk SaaS."
"It has machine learning and can help clients to learn the environment and understand what is happening."
"It provides comprehensive reports, including predefined templates tailored for compliance requirements, making it easier to present detailed information to customers."

Cons

"The solution's difficulty in gaining skill sets should be improved because it's a vertical product."
"It was pretty complex to implement CyberArk Identity. We had some help from a partner, and that helped a lot. But even for the partner, it was really difficult to streamline the process of implementing."
"Some areas experience slowness based on the workload. There's a need to enhance network performance despite the good user experience with access management."
"I faced some challenges during the initial setup of CyberArk Identity. At some points, I could not find proper documentation for deploying, enhancing, or integrating with other components."
"They could improve their UI and make everything more user-friendly."
"CyberArk Identity is kind of expensive."
"You can do many things in it, but you need a lot of knowledge about dependencies of many things, so it requires time and big knowledge, and for the customer, it's a tough task now."
"The product is not cheap, especially if you opt for an on-premise deployment requiring a complex server infrastructure. On the other hand, choosing the software as a service version simplifies infrastructure requirements but necessitates being online all the time."
"Netskope could consider implementing a user-friendly interface with a 'pick and choose' option that allows users to select and configure components from existing templates, making the customization process more accessible."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is an initial license and then there is a subscription needed."
"We find that the pricing and licensing of this solution is adequate, as compared to the other competitors in the market."
"There could be some additional costs apart from the licensing costs of the solution when you want to develop connectors in CyberArk Identity."
"It's not that affordable compared to Delinea or other products. They're less expensive and allow more customization. For the cost, it is expensive."
"The solution is cheap and I rate its pricing an eight out of ten."
"The pricing of CyberArk Identity is competitive."
"Their pricing is obviously a lot higher than many vendors in the marketplace but their service is also unmatched."
"In terms of pricing, BeyondTrust and CyberArk tend to be more expensive, with CyberArk receiving an eight out of ten, in this regard."
"Pricing largely depends on the specific customer."
