We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"OnBase is a remarkable tool. It is a well-done product. Hyland has a lot of experience in building it and looking for new things for clients in terms of functionalities. It has amazing stability, and it can grow horizontally and vertically. It is built for growth. Their technical support is also quite good and available throughout the year.""I like the cloud and its integrability.""The retention module is one of the most valuable features. Whatever we scan onto the system can be identified and we are notified when the records are due to be disposed.""We found the setup process to be okay since they do offer a troubleshooting guide.""The solution is very developed and we are not taking full advantage of its functionalities.""The most valuable features are that it's very secure and provides audit trails for our documents."

"Creating applications in Quickbase will take, literally, a fraction of the time it would take to create them in other database applications (which shall remain unnamed).""The need for little to no code knowledge has been huge.""It is low-code. We are able to go in and create apps quickly. It is very helpful for the size of our company. We're a mid-size company, and at this moment, we don't need anything externally. We don't have to go out and consult a consulting firm to build something from the ground up. So, the ease of that and being able to get development quickly up and running has been good for us.""Allows users have anytime/anywhere access.""Considering factors like functionality and price, the product proves to be worth the investment.""The reporting tool: It helps in data analytics to provide the solution more efficiency.""There's a lot of stability in QuickBase...I really appreciate the processing part of QuickBase, especially considering how we're able to get information in real time instead of having to wait.""The product is easy to use."

Cons
"We need to troubleshoot why our reports didn't get downloaded in a day. There is a workflow feature which powerful but also complicated.""The look and feel could be better. The integration with the user could be better. It could also be more user-friendly.""An area for improvement would be the training - getting our people up to speed on how to use it required more training than we expected due to the complexity of the solution.""For user experience, they would have to do more with the interface. It is not easy to work with and is a little messy. It is getting better, but it is not yet good enough. Other products are comparatively doing better in terms of the user interface. I have been hearing about Box, which is very easy to use and learn for the users. OnBase has to work on this aspect. It should have BPM capabilities. We compete with tools that provide the BPM feature and support those standards. They can do better in terms of the pricing model. It is a really expensive tool in Latin America. They should have different prices for different regions.""The dashboards do have some room for improvement as compared to the other vendors which are there in the market.""We are struggling with duplicates and would like to have OCR functionality when using this solution."

"I would like to see the reporting enhanced because some of them are not easy to generate.""This rule: The Maximum is 60 rules. We need to provide more in order to improve.""The mobile app has improved, but it still needs work.""The product works constantly to modernize the platform and they have made quite a lot of strides in that. I would like them to add additional features that would help us make API calls.""Third-party integration -- they are working on it and I find their brand-new still-in-beta Webhooks very promising.""Whenever we do onboarding, or we get new employees, there tends to be a delay of not just a week but a couple of weeks, and sometimes even a few weeks of being able to see certain new employees in the system.""Access to more standard default layouts and sample builds would be useful, and access to more training on use and flexibility.""Its UI needs improvement. They should improve it and make it a little bit more modern. We should also be able to have more real-time information that connects with other software platforms. It has an open API, but it doesn't always connect with some of the other platforms that we would like to utilize. These are probably two of the biggest things for us, and hopefully, they will keep ensuring that in the future, they continually build QuickBase to be a little bit more efficient in that regard."
