They ensure that our campaigns have run in the highest quality of settings, leading to savings on ad spending
Primary use case of this solution is to detect fraud traffic (also mark the network which is sending the fraud traffic) and block the fraud traffic. These metrics help us to minimize wasted ad spend and provide our clients an extra layer of confidence around our campaigns As a result of the…

Application protection has improved and reporting and dashboards still need refinement
I believe Imperva Application Security Platform should have a more interactive wizard. While the dashboard is good, it could be more eye-catching. Based on my perspective, I recommend modifying the dashboards, especially the main dashboard where I can see the traffic hit count, alerts, and other latest information. In terms of reporting, I find it challenging to create reports; in my earlier days, it was difficult. Over time, I have learned how to create reports, but it should be easier to do so. I have used other tools such as firewalls or SolarWinds, where creating a report is straightforward and does not take much time, unlike in Imperva, where I have to add many elements. Modifications in the integration aspects would also be beneficial.

"It's worth it. It's a fine solution for medium/big companies worried about attacks that happen in the wild."
"Gives us the ability to trace each connection, and to have logs to be able to differentiate between a positive and a false-positive intruder action."
"On the real time, you can see live traffic, which is flowing into our website."
"Imperva Web Application Firewall is a highly stable solution and is very mature."
"By using this application, the firewall is blocking every suspicious activity and event, and now we are safe with peace of mind that nobody will use malware on us or try to hack our website."
"The solution is really stable; it's a product that I can stand by and recommend because I know it's going to work for the customer."

Cons

"As bots are getting better and the product should keep getting updates in preventing new ways of attack and security."
"An improvement for Imperva WAF would be to reduce the number of false positives and create more strong use cases based on AI/ML or behavioral analytics."
"The Imperva Web Application Firewall automations are good, but there is still room for improvement with them."
"Licensing should be improved. Most of the clients aren't happy. It's expensive."
"The rules surrounding the making of web applications could be improved."
"Although we're only using it for the accelerator part, the purging of files and the way this feature functions could use improvement."
