They ensure that our campaigns have run in the highest quality of settings, leading to savings on ad spending
Primary use case of this solution is to detect fraud traffic (also mark the network which is sending the fraud traffic) and block the fraud traffic. These metrics help us to minimize wasted ad spend and provide our clients an extra layer of confidence around our campaigns As a result of the…

Application protection has improved and reporting and dashboards still need refinement
I believe Imperva Application Security Platform should have a more interactive wizard. While the dashboard is good, it could be more eye-catching. Based on my perspective, I recommend modifying the dashboards, especially the main dashboard where I can see the traffic hit count, alerts, and other latest information. In terms of reporting, I find it challenging to create reports; in my earlier days, it was difficult. Over time, I have learned how to create reports, but it should be easier to do so. I have used other tools such as firewalls or SolarWinds, where creating a report is straightforward and does not take much time, unlike in Imperva, where I have to add many elements. Modifications in the integration aspects would also be beneficial.

Pros

"PerimeterX helped us to ensure that our campaigns have run in the highest quality of settings, leading to savings on ad spending."
"We have seen a return on investment with Imperva Application Security Platform, as we started with a few devices and gradually increased the number of on-premises devices for Imperva Application Security Platform."
"Imperva DDoS helps us automate production. The client had specific requirements for a cloud project in the financial sector."
"Imperva anti-DDoS protection has the well-known value of having lots of distributed nodes around the world, making it the best value for DDoS protection."
"The most valuable feature of Imperva, in addition to its strong knowledge base, is its effective protection for web applications."
"I would recommend this solution to others; it has been working fine for us, and it has all the features that we need."
"Imperva Cloud WAF would be the most powerful option."
"The solution can scale."
"Its inline transferring mode is the most valuable because it is 100% transparent. When you change the IP, there is no change on the network side. If you can't and want to try to reach an IP, you can reach the server IP. There are many other advanced security features in it. The smallest appliances of Imperva can handle the highest traffic at a customer site. For example, a smaller appliance from Imperva can provide you the same security as an F5 product."

Cons

"As bots are getting better and the product should keep getting updates in preventing new ways of attack and security."
"Their portal is very limited and needs improvement."
"The initial setup could be simplified. Every time you have to install the solution you have to get in touch with support or somebody that can to do that for you."
"Management of policies and rules can be complicated and the physical setup of the product has implications on HA."
"They recently separated the WAF and the DAM management gateways in order for each of these to be managed from different areas, so I believe it now requires additional investments for what was previously a single complete solution."
"Sometimes, the SSL setup can be a bit slow/inconsistent."
"There’s nothing that’s missing in terms of features."
"Imperva DDoS does not provide version control."
"One thing that they really could improve on is the depth of the analytics."
