Offers reliability and helps with vulnerability assessment
I use HPE ProCurve network in our organization. I can say that the product has improved the network flexibility in our company since I haven't seen any challenges from the last seven to eight years. The most valuable product for network management revolves around the area of VSB, also known as virtual switch bonding, which can quickly attach two or three switches or make them come together to quickly form a single switch. From a security perspective, my company does vulnerability assessment. From a security perspective, my company does vulnerability assessment. Following the hardening guidelines, the switches are configured according to the hardening parameters. The tool's reliability and uptime match our company's needs. My company enjoyed configuring the switches a lot, especially since we saw similarities between Cisco's and HPS's configuration processes. HPE ProCurve is user-friendly. We have a different product for network management, so my company doesn't use HPE ProCurve since we have already collaborated with some third-party products. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it, especially since I have been using it without any issues for many years. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Performs well, is easy to set up, and the vendor maintains the product well
QFabric is the core switch. We also have two Brocade switches for the Fibre level The product works fine. It is an excellent product. There are different element systems and different options for each generation of the tool. We maintain the data center and analyze issues. I have no negative…

"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The product is robust."
"We don't mind the cost in general."
"The solution is fast and inexpensive."
"The user interface is the most valuable aspect of the solution for us."
"The vendor maintains the product well."
"The 40 gig backbone InterConneX was valuable for our use case. It is even faster now. QFabric has spine-leaf technology or topology, which basically makes every single hop only one hop away in terms of connecting from one device to another. It is a pretty good and robust solution. It works pretty well in terms of scalability, and their technical support is amazing."
"Juniper QFabric has various advantages including scalability, simplicity, performance, and flexibility."
"It is known for being agile, flexible, and cost-effective when working with various vendors."
"The solution is easy to use and has good performance."
"The solution is stable."
"QFabric supports redundancy and includes all of the enterprise and service provider features that customers would want in data center or service provider network."
"The most valuable features of this solution are the fabric backplane having upwards of 160 GB of communication. It is a top-of-the-rack solution where you have your directors sitting in the main area and then you have your nodes expanded out to your multiple cabinets. It has a very good design and could be your server backbone."

Cons

"The interface we have could be better."
"HPE ProCurve is very complex for junior engineers and beginners. You need a lot of experience in managing switches in order to use this switch."
"The product must provide something similar to Cisco’s command-line interface."
"These switches can be made more stable and robust."
"HPE ProCurve could improve by making their command more similar to other solutions, such as the access codes. There should be a standard. Additionally, if the configurations could be done from the cloud would be a benefit and the port uplink speed should improve."
"The dashboards could be improved to be more interesting."
"The solution doesn't have web-based management, which is why we've moved to a different solution."
"HPE ProCurve's web interface is old, and I have to log in on each device separately, making them the product's shortcomings that need improvement."
"They are working on the virtualization of the actual fabric layer. They are moving away from the original spine-leaf design to a different infrastructure. Instead of having three tiers, which was the director of the interconnected nodes, they cut them back, and they still have that kind of structure."
"Having support for all OpenFlow versions would be beneficial."
"It works too much on rebooting and there is some memory leakage."
"I do not use GUI's very much for switch stacks. I am always in the CLI. However, I do know that Juniper in the past has lacked on their GUI's, but they have been working on it."
"The stability needs to be improved."
"The disruptive upgrade was an issue for us."
"Improvements could be made to QFabric's life cycle management, particularly in maintaining stable versions and extending product support."
"It would be nice if Juniper provided the system integrator with training, similar to that of Cisco."
