It provides access to private and public clouds. I would like to be able to select the best private cloud.
I would like to be able to select the best private cloud to use in terms of service and cost. If I need to put an application on the cloud, I would like to know which provider to use. I would like to know the best option for this application.

Cost-effectiveness and pricing consistency support diverse high-intensity applications
The services of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) are quite competent when compared to AWS Cloud, and they are also lower in cost. We use compute, storage, and network services. A notable feature is Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's consistent global pricing, which is advantageous. Furthermore, applications using Oracle Database not only work seamlessly on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) but also benefit from a 25% offset on Oracle Database licenses.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"HPE Helion provides access to world-class personnel and skill sets, and their ability to perform repeatedly at a high standard provides a positive experience."
"It's improved the delivery of services to our clients, and I believe my clients get new business and better performance."
"Helion Being backed by a vendor (HPE) rather than vanilla openstack gives us a little more confidence that the product is now at a level of maturity where we are happy to start consuming open technologies."
"The most valuable feature is our access to private and public clouds."
"We have many more services, including self-service, and we don't have to call IT and wait for weeks or months for service, which is the biggest benefit for our business."
"I like having the ability to easily run Oracle Linux server instances and to deploy Oracle Middleware and WebLogic servers. Oracle's Infrastructure as a Service products are also very useful, and we're using those right now within Oracle OCI."
"Overall, there are some very good features on Oracle and it offers good customization capabilities."
"They seem to be more readily integrating with Azure, which is great."
"Especially when it comes to the Database as a Service, which we use a lot, I can easily vouch for that if you are looking for good database performance."
"The most valuable feature is the reporting service."
"We find the ease of use and the cost associated with the solution valuable."
"It is more secure and more controlled than an on-premises deployment."
"The most valuable feature is the monitoring."

Cons

"We need improvements for more hybrid use. Right now, the system is very focused on pay-as-you-go cloud services, and our customers are looking for more a hybrid use."
"If they could reduce the cost, that would be good as there is much competition, and many companies and organizations are looking to reduce costs."
"Some improvements I think are needed are greater stability and more up to date packages."
"I would like to be able to select the best private cloud to use in terms of service and cost."
"With a lot of the services we use, we need a single dashboard that could do more."
"The product roadmap strategy for some of the products is not clear."
"The Oracle Cloud platform remains complex, and despite the abundance of resources available, significant challenges can still arise during the migration process from a legacy or on-premise system. Conversely, smaller companies with less complicated systems, such as those with a two million budget, can migrate more easily."
"Technical support for this solution is average. I contacted them last week and just received a message from them today."
"Many customers go through a lot of effort and burn money to achieve this, so it's an opportunity for Oracle to provide it for customers looking for this type of solution."
"The solution requires tighter integration capabilities."
"The packaging part of the software needs improvement. It lacks customization abilities for users, giving them VMs for machine learning or running their own programs like Azure and Amazon, for example."
"The customization and the requests put through were not flexible enough."
"There's a need for further customization to unlock the platform's full potential."
