Effortless policy management with built-in simplicity that enhances user experience
I work in kiosk delivery for my users' laptops and cellular phones It's very easy to use. It's very comfortable to work on Hexnode since its form and usage are very simple. The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer…

Effective vulnerability, desktop, and patch management
We are using ManageEngine Endpoint Central primarily for desktop management. It allows us to deploy patches, manage antivirus, control endpoints like DLP, and more The most valuable feature to me is the vulnerability management. It also has effective patch management capabilities. The main issue…

Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The agility is impressive, and it's simple to manage."
"It's very easy to use."
"ManageEngine has improved my organization because right now we can actually monitor and find out which software products are installed on each desktop. We can then figure out which ones have to get patched and so forth."
"ManageEngine Desktop Central automatically alerts you if there are newer releases or updates. You do not have to go to their website and check."
"The most valuable features of ManageEngine Endpoint Central are patch management and remote access and management."
"The solution's most valuable features are its patch management capabilities, especially for third-party applications, along with quick and easy configuration and deployment processes."
"The ability to patch my servers and endpoints is the most important for me. However, this feature is more pronounced in ManageEngine Desktop Central."
"Since deploying Desktop Central our endpoints are all updated. We use configuration management to deploy shortcuts to our users' desktops with ease. Also, we use configuration management to map logical hard drives to our users. Our users are very happy with how much ease IT can solve their problems."
"ManageEngine Desktop Central's most valuable features are remote desktop control and image management. We can send things out from the desk here, it is a very good tool for us."
"The initial setup is easy."
"It provides control over all mobile devices that are being connected to the corporate network."
"The solution is easy to use and it has good performance."
"The dashboards, the security, and the customization capabilities work very well for us."
"The thing I appreciate most about Microsoft Intune is that the management of the devices was very simplified."
"The best part of Intune is application deployment. We can deploy an application to several users with a single click. We can use conditional access, granting access to users based on certain conditions, such as location, platform, etc."
"Microsoft Intune is best for Windows devices and security in Office 365 and Microsoft-related enterprise environments. It's a nice platform for endpoint management."
"I like that it's very good and very simple. I found that we just needed to have a proper subscription for an Intune tenant, and from the subscription, if we have the right role assigned, like the global admin role or the owner role, we can use Microsoft cloud resources. With the help of that, we can do many things like setting up Microsoft Intune in the cloud to create our virtual machines. All these can be done, and the steps are very simple. I really liked it. I like features like Windows Auto-Enrollment. I like it very much because whenever you supply it to the end-user, it will be ready to use immediately. The end-user only needs to provide the user credentials, and then they are good to go. I also really like Cloud PC, which was recently launched on Azure."
"There are many features in Microsoft Intune. For personal mobile devices, MDM is what I most prefer."

Cons

"The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer Spanish support."
"The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer Spanish support."
"ManageEngine Endpoint Central’s scalability could be improved."
"Sometimes computers fail to receive patches, and we need to investigate why."
"Usability is the main issue when comparing ManageEngine with BlackBerry RIM."
"ManageEngine should support various browser features, including those that address browser limitations."
"The solution isn't fully stable, and, when it goes down, it's hard to get it up and running."
"Tech support is mediocre at best."
"In relation to ManageEngine Endpoint Central, ManageEngine NGAV seems to be completely useless right now."
"The technical support could improve response times, especially when immediate assistance is needed."
"Onboarding of endpoint devices is not straightforward. The onboarding process was a little heavier than I thought it would be. That's the key improvement area. Obviously, the more control you have over the devices, the better it is."
"The reporting is subpar. That's the only issue we have with Intune. We use another solution for that purpose."
"The platform is incredibly slow and could be more responsive. Specifically, when making changes to security policies, I would like to see those changes take effect more quickly."
"The time we have to wait to deploy policies has room for improvement."
"The Mac integration has room for improvement."
"There are items that require improvements. One is the controls from iOS."
"What would make this product better is adding more security policies and features in the next upgrade."
"Reporting could be improved. It needs to be more expensive and robust."

"Intune is cost-effective as it is included in some of the Office 365 packages."
"With our standard E5 agreement with Microsoft, there have been no pricing concerns. Introductory professional services, like a fast-track service, were included with our E5 membership, and there have been no additional costs."
"The pricing is good because customers are not complaining about it."
"Pricing can be improved."
"Microsoft licenses are costly."
"While I can't provide insights from a business perspective, it's worth noting that the pricing may differ significantly, and the discount we received might not be reflective of standard business rates."
"Its pricing seems reasonable."
"Most of our clients come to us with licensing already in place. On average, it costs $6 per device per month to add Intune to an Office 365 subscription, but I am not sure."
