Partner program has reduced messaging costs and now supports reliable, large scale communication
I believe Gupshup could improve in several areas. Since our partnership involves working at scale for multiple WhatsApp Business API numbers over their infrastructure, I noticed that Gupshup also provides WhatsApp Business API for single consumers, which I saw on their website and documentation. They charge additionally per message or template message on top of the actual WhatsApp Business APIs messaging rate. For example, sending a WhatsApp marketing template costs around $1.50, and Gupshup adds their own service fee per message, around 20 to 30 cents. For a single consumer working at scale and sending thousands of messages daily, this can become concerning. They should implement a solution where it could be a one-off payment instead of per message payment, allowing single consumers to leverage their service better. What would make it a 10? A better engineering team that solves problems and knows the ins and outs instead of just doing patch fixes would be ideal for me. Being a tech-focused person, I believe the system we rely on should be totally reliable and the people working on it should be reliable as well.

Uses data-driven insights to improve workflows and highlights a need for simpler automation tools
Salesforce Sales Cloud can be improved in several areas. First, the UI is an area for enhancement. Even though they've launched Lightning, it's clunky at times with page load speeds. It also needs to be made extremely more user-friendly. For new people using Salesforce Sales Cloud, there is a steep learning curve. Additionally, giving non-admins the ability to make changes on the fly is something that I feel is necessary. Currently with Salesforce Sales Cloud, you need to have a consultant. It's hard to build the flows or workflows. Making it easier for that end-user who's not so technically minded to help themselves is essential. I choose seven out of ten because I think you need a consultant or a consulting company to help you build it out. Certain changes should be made much easier and more user-friendly where an admin can do it. The automation processes need to be much simpler. If you're looking at other tools out there, for example SalesLoft or HubSpot, it's much easier to build those workflows and do automation.

"Gupshup has positively impacted my organization by helping me achieve a lower customer acquisition cost than another BSP."
"Gupshup has impacted my organization very positively; it is a good platform, very reliable, and this is the first platform that we have used where we did not feel any need to switch over to any competitor because Gupshup is everything it markets itself to be."
"My main use case with Gupshup was flawless; it was very user-friendly, and I personally loved using it."
"At BookMyShow, I typically achieved delivery rates above 95%, read rates between 60 to 80%, and click-through rates noticeably higher than other comparable tools."
"We have achieved a 97 to 98 percent successful delivery rate for business-critical OTPs and transactional notifications."
"In my experience, the best features Gupshup offers include the ability for a user with no prior knowledge of code to also use this platform if they are creative."
"The performance is good, and it is easy to use."
"It has custom fields and custom reports which can align to our business objectives and marketing focus."
"The entire organisation is now on the same page, with one source of truth."
"My primary use case is for business opportunities, following sales and pre-sales actions, and contacting customers."
"Salesforce helps up keep track of candidates."
"Salesforce Sales Cloud is very stable."
"The most valuable feature of Salesforce Sales Cloud is for teams the ability to do marketing on our page and to manage their marketing leads. You are able to close a deal and do the renewal. For the life cycle management for customer management, we use Salesforce Sales Cloud. The performance of the solution is good."
"Salesforce Sales Cloud has helped our organization by giving it the flexibility to customize our products to fit tiers of products, and there are many timing and automation features that have given us control over some of the very unique business processes."

Cons

"I think their customer support needs to be improved as they have a very slow response time and lack local support, especially in Indonesia."
"I would appreciate more granular error code documentation for edge case API delivery failures, deeper out-of-the-box integration with cloud monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch or DataDog for native metric scraping, and a more responsive administrative console when querying massive historical message logs."
"The main thing the support team should do is give immediate resolution, not take a day or two or three days."
"I think Gupshup could be improved with online support or WhatsApp support so that we can talk directly with an agent, instead of working only by email."
"Gupshup could be improved by adding more selection of templates."
"My feedback regarding Gupshup is that during the DLT setting of IDs in the SMS and WhatsApp section, whatever is written in the portal has to be precise."
"I remember that I was trying to get the webhooks about account information, and I had trouble finding in the documentation how I could receive webhooks about the account, such as when we have an account that could be blocked or when the limit of messages might be erased."
"If I suggest an improvement, I would desire to see deeper analytics."
"Although the implementation was straightforward with our in-house team, it did take 12 weeks to complete the process."
"If they could integrate with other enterprises' IT aspects like SAP and ERP, it would be great."
"If the infrastructure is not correct, then customers are having an issue and it's taking a lot of time to load."
"The built-in functionality is a little dated."
"Reporting can become slow to pull once you reach a certain limit of contact records due to the complexity and volume of the data available."
"Sales Cloud could be improved with more training. In general, the training is very good, but you have to really seek out some good options in order to upskill yourself. Another thing, which could also be a benefit, is that Sales is very customizable. If you move from one organization to another, you can see your Salesforce as before, but their Sales Cloud may look completely different from what you're used to. It's not like Microsoft Excel or Trello, where the layout and all the functions are the same. Because it's so customizable, I feel like there is a bit of a learning curve when you inherit another Sales Cloud instance. To be honest, I think that's the beauty of Salesforce because you can customize it so much to fit your needs as a company. It follows your processes and use cases in order for you to get the most out of the system itself."
"The performance is sometimes slow. There is too much information and this makes it difficult to find the answers we are looking for."
"The setup of Salesforce Sales Cloud is complex. You need specialists in that area to be able to have a good setup. Once it's set up properly, running it is seamless. That's the most beautiful thing about Salesforce Sales Cloud."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The licensing fees are reasonable."
"It's expensive, storage being the most costly aspect."
"The main issue is the price. Because it's SaaS, you will have to pay on a monthly or yearly basis."
"Salesforce Sales Cloud is an expensive solution."
"Implementation and add-ons may be additional costs."
"The main thing is it is costly. Salesforce it is not cheap, it's costly. Some of our customers say it is a costly solution. So, we have lost some sale opportunities regarding the high price. This is the main thing that we are facing. It is sales per user and the user price is about $150 per month, per user for the Enterprise Edition. The other edition is less than this, but it is costly. A company that has 70 or 80 users would pay more than $8,000 USD yearly because it is cloud based."
"Pricing is reasonable."
"The overall price of Salesforce Sales Cloud could be better, it is more expensive than other competitors. There is an annual license for Salesforce Sales Cloud."
