Facilitates process integration across departments but requires better pricing and broader feature adoption
The most valuable features I find in Oracle BPM include a unified process management platform, human workflow management, and process simulation and optimization. I see that it is integrated with other ERPs. If you integrate it with human HRMS workflow management, then it will provide integration with HRMS for Oracle E-Business Suite and for process analytics and business.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I find the flexibility most valuable, and being able to connect and integrate with various systems, as well as being solution oriented, is valuable to me as well."
"The new reporting and the new dashboard features are really good."
"It is very stable. There is no downtime."
"One of the most valuable features of Oracle BPM is the workflow itself, as it is quite intuitive."
"Currently, we define the tasks, and based on certain decision rules, the tool decides the task priorities and the time frame of the task."
"The support is good."
"What I found most valuable in Oracle BPM is that it has a lot of out-of-the-box integrations, and the solution also provides a lot of adapters which is very helpful."
"One of the most valuable features is its user-friendly API, which simplifies the implementation of workflows, such as managing inbox tasks for specific users within BPM profiles."
"One of the most valuable features of the solution is the capability to allow the implementation of static processes, using the standard BPMN 2.0 notation, and also to address not straightforward, dynamic process scenarios, by providing features for Case Management (Adaptive Case Management, ACM)."
"Oracle BPM is easy to use for both the business and developers, and Oracle BPM's tool for service and application integration is the best on the market to accomplish this."
"The best part about this solution is that the feature set is complete."

Cons

"The design of the interface, in general, could be improved. It could be a bit more user-friendly."
"The areas that would benefit in improvement would be the training information, the white papers and useful tutorials as to how to build these typical solutions."
"The setup and configuration is complex."
"Although it is a robust product, its learning curve can be steep without having the proper training and mentoring on the first project."
"The solution needs to offer better integration with third-party systems."
"Oracle BPM is hard to configure and requires some experience to use it."
"Pricing is an area that could use improvement."
"Support for Decision Modelling Notation (DMN). There is a Business Rule Engine available, but this is not DMN-compatible."
"We have had some issues with version migration, from one version of processes to another. We would have to call Oracle Services but on a day to day, we didn't have any issues."
"Technical support is an Achilles' heel for all Oracle products, and this is no exception. It takes forever (several months) to have an issue resolved."
"The product must reduce its cost."
