Allows resource assignments with a validity period and saves a lot of time
It provides the benefits that any IGA solution provides in a company. There is not anything new. If there was any other tool in our organization, that would have provided the same coverage. Our Omada solution is set up to remove an employee's access as soon as that employee leaves our organization. It has made the security better. We know that once an identity is terminated, the access would be disabled so that the user cannot log in and do anything. Omada Identity saves time. It is pretty fast. We can handle multiple access requests at the same time. It has a good filtering capability for the users to choose the resources that they need to select. It has definitely removed a lot of manual work that was being done by the help desk teams. That way, it has saved a lot of time. There are about 40% time savings. Being a cloud solution, it is very easy to manage. An on-premises solution is not very efficient.

Copes well with evolving environments and it's easy to look after the source code
An area for improvement would be that you have to be aware of your interfaces when making changes to the source code, as if you change an integration that is not in-box, that integration can be broken. There are also issues with integration with paid solutions from Microsoft or other identity management vendors, as if they stop working, you have a big problem because they have changed something which is not well documented, and you have to deal with it without breaking copyright (reverse engineering). There are few companies publishing solutions including source code for integration with closed code solutions. Use is always on own risk - no guarantees for up to date code interfacing to closed code solution.

Great user and account management and reduces our user lifecycle time
Scalability is good, but if the number of users significantly increases, it requires different web servers and becomes difficult to manage. In addition, SailPoint IdentityIQ doesn't provide any SIM tool, so we have to implement it if required. Without it, we have to work locally, going into the logs for eServers by ourselves, and there isn't a central log factory where we can see all the logs for the SailPoint IdentityIQ. The number of users depends on the project. There are projects with millions of users and others with 100,000 or 300,000 users. Also, the number of people required for deployment depends on the number of servers and users. However, if I were to estimate, it requires an average of three people, but if the server and the UI server increase, it becomes challenging to look at the logs. Compared to SailPoint IdentityIQ, Saviynt provides a way to select servers. From the UI, you can choose different servers and see the logs. SailPoint IdentityIQ is being used at full capacity, and I am currently working as an architect for both Saviynt and SailPoint IdentityIQ. If I were to compare solutions, there is no comparison with SailPoint in the market right now, and SailPoint is way ahead. Solutions like Saviynt and Omada have features such as logs, clarity of the risk and SODs that are not as good in SailPoint IdentityIQ.

I'm talking about the process for on-premises deployment because I've never tried the cloud version of Omada Identity. Setting up the cloud version should be much easier. The second area for improvement in Omada Identity is that it's piggybacking on Microsoft's complex way of having all kinds of add-ons, extensions, or setups, whether small or large, such as the new SQL Server, and it's cumbersome to make sure that everything works. Omada Identity is a complex solution and could still be improved."
