Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the author's discovery of assets.""The privileged account management feature is what I like most.""This is a cloud-based application, which makes it very easy to deploy.""The vault and auditing capabilities are the most valuable feature because they include multiple reports that allow us to create our own reports.""The most valuable feature of Delinea Privileged Access Service is we can use the server as a jump host. It is simple to manage the accounts on the system.""The reporting is excellent.""There are benefits in the security realm. We use Delinea at an enterprise level. I imagine there are productivity gains, but moreover, it's the security. We don’t enable staff to see the passwords of boxes but it's all being tracked and logged now.""The solution is flexible."

"The support is great. They offer 24/7 support, but the specific level of support depends on your subscription. There's a weekday-only option, and a 24/7 option that covers all days of the week. They also have offices in different regions, including West Africa, so people there can easily get support. There's no need to worry about getting assistance.""Its video recording capabilities have definitely been key for us.""I like that it's Linux-based, and you don't need to have separate implementations, extra database licenses, or enterprise licenses. I think because it's Linux-based, it's more seamless than Windows. I also like the access manager, which I think is a super tool. Everything is browser-based, and you don't need a VPN. So, that's a great thing.""The interface is very simple. It doesn't need any plug-ins, just browsers that are installed at the beginning.""WALLIX Bastion's most valuable feature is the Access Manager because you can use it and access the data center without any client VPN.""The solution's technical support team is helpful."

Cons
"This solution needs better integration with third-party solutions because their ability to support other tools is very weak.""Although the interface is intuitive, it could be a little more user-friendly.""It is difficult to integrate the product with other IT systems.""The integration with sync could be improved.""There needs to be a notification when a password is near expiration.""Enhancing the solution by incorporating additional features to make it comprehensive would be beneficial. It would be more convenient to have a complete package solution that consolidates all the features in one place, making it easier to manage. Currently, I am required to access two separate servers for reports, which could be avoided if all the necessary features were available in a single location. This would be highly advantageous for managing everything effectively.""With Delinea Privileged Access Service, when installing the identity connectors to configure with AD, the configuration was not happening properly.""The pricing and presence could be improved."

"The product doesn't have behavior analytics. They promised to develop this, but only for the cloud, not for on-premise versions.""For me, the main issue has to do with the system performance itself.""There could be more automation features for the solution.""The performance of WALLIX Bastion's password manager is very low.""The password management needs improvement. Management of Access Manager should be improved as well.""It would be better if I could manage multiple accounts in one place, like CyberArk. With WALLIX, you can only manage one account, and you are given a separate category. You have to click on each connection to do anything. For example, CyberArk might give three options for one connection if you want to have an interactive user-level experience. But with WALLIX, you have to click three times to get that access. Also, the biggest disadvantage of WALLIX is the reporting. I feel like it's very weak in reporting when compared to the other solutions. As a solution, they're good and stable. But they need to make their reports neater and better. Right now, we're going to the console and then pressing buttons every single time.""Based on my experience as a sales tech person, one area of improvement could be a more unified licensing model."

    Overview

Delinea Privilege Service provides all of your IT administration teams with secure, granular access to infrastructure regardless of location, and without the hassles of a VPN.
Secure browser-based access Authorized IT users launch management sessions for resources directly from the Privilege Service portal. Sessions use SSH and RDP protocols, and are always protected end-to-end.

Access across organizational boundaries Privilege Service enables you to authenticate your IT users through Active Directory, LDAP Cloud Directory, or Google G Suite
Directory. You can use one or any combination of these identity stores to grant granular access to employees, business partners and outside vendors.

Grant access to specific resources Unlike a VPN, Privilege Service enables you to grant access to
resources on a on a per-resource basis. This means that you can easily give your internal IT admins access to as much of your infrastructure as necessary, while limiting access by an outsourced
team to only the servers and network hardware their business role or IT function requires.

Access from any location Your IT admins can log in and securely access resources from any location that can reach the Privilege Service. For user logins outside the corporate network, you can require Delinea's built-in multi-factor authentication for security stronger than a user name and password.

WALLIX offers cybersecurity and privileged access management solutions that secure and protect your most critical IT assets.
