Managing complex data hierarchies has improved analytics but still needs richer hierarchy types
To evaluate Cube's efficiency in handling large data volumes, I use metrics including F1 scores, AUC (Area Under the Curve), and RMC (Root Mean Squares), along with RSE (Root Square Errors). These factors help me gauge the efficiency of the algorithms clearly. Regarding improving Cube, I believe that when we are building hierarchies, I should enhance the type of hierarchies. For instance, in a few countries lacking state systems, there could be a hierarchy without proper categorization—such as continent, country, and city. Therefore, it would be beneficial if I could improve the hierarchies to retrieve data as quickly as possible from Cube.

Fantastic for small businesses; the customer feedback has been great
From a small firm perspective, Egnyte Connect is simple, it is easy to get users up and running the same day, and I have nothing negative to say about the software. I can't speak to how Egnyte Connect would operate in a midsize company or even a large Fortune 500 company, but, from our perspective as a small business, it is fantastic. For us, security was front and center. Usability was also important and took second place. Next, we asked "Is it simple and easy for anyone to quickly learn how to use it?" Egnyte Connect checked that box. Third place for us was price. We liked the fact that they charge on a monthly basis so there is not an annualized upfront fee that we pay.

Pros

"Cube completes my tasks very easily and takes less time, allowing me to deliver any project in a timely manner to our clients."
"NPS improved to approximately eight out of ten for our feature, and internally ticket handling times decreased, allowing reallocation of resources to higher-impact projects."
"Implementation was super smooth, and within two weeks we were up and running and the metrics were exposed in our app."
"Cube's caching mechanism impacts my database query loads and response times significantly."
"It centralizes the documentation in one area."
"Now that the Egnyte vendor upgraded the version and they introduced the Egnyte Connect, there are a lot of features that they added, including co-authoring."
"Egnyte Connect is a great application to save files."
"It is scalable and stable."
"You can really do a lot of cool things with it in terms of being able to co-author and share documents with users that are not in your organization."
"It's easy to move files around, even to, for example, SharePoint."
"Egnyte Connect is a great application to save files, as all files are secure and available, and any authorized person can access and download the files from anywhere with an internet connection."
"From a small firm perspective, Egnyte Connect is simple, it is easy to get users up and running the same day, and I have nothing negative to say about the software. I can't speak to how Egnyte Connect would operate in a midsize company or even a large Fortune 500 company, but, from our perspective as a small business, it is fantastic."

Cons

"I did not see any return on investment from Cube."
"When it comes to the initial setup of Cube, I faced some challenges, including server issues when uploading data from local sources to the Unipi servers."
"Cube's interface can be challenging for non-technical users, needing clearer use-case examples to ease integration into workflows."
"Cube can be improved by enhancing data refresh over multiple tabs."
"There is no way to create a real template that is not exposed directly in the UI."
"If this solution had a better ability to search, that would be helpful. In addition, if there was an ability to collaborate, that would also be a benefit. At present, the vision control is had because if someone gets out of it, it locks. And, whoever saves last overrides everyone's work."
"With Egnyte Connect, you cannot delete a file when you have uploaded it in error, which needs improvement."
"Before, when we were starting to use Egnyte, we were struggling with a lot of bugs with Egnyte desktop sync."
"It would be nice to see an integration of using an active directory to validate and authenticate users on our end as well as on the client user's end."
"The issue of my authorization token expiring pretty quickly was pretty annoying. On pretty much every update, it would expire on every computer. On every computer update, at the first opportunity, it would expire. When my computer got updated or the authorization got cut, my saved drives would get messed up. So, I had to reconnect them all. I was never able to set up a useful drive system with my local computer with Egnyte Connect. It would be a big improvement if there was a cached system so that when it loses connection, it can still save what kind of connections were set up, and when it reconnects, it repopulates all those. I don't know if that's even possible, but that's the feature I'd want."
"I was never able to set up a useful drive system with my local computer with Egnyte Connect."
"As of right now, I have everything that I and my team need."
