Round-the-clock monitoring has freed our small team and improves our threat response focus
In terms of improvement for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, they just keep going full steam ahead. The biggest room for a house is the room for improvement, but as of right now, I don't have any complaints about CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR. Additional features that should be included in the next release of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR would be on-demand scanning. That is something we have to do manually. For instance, if a user plugs in a USB device, even though in our environment we have USB devices locked completely, CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR will still read those devices even though they can't physically access them. If it does find malicious software, those are manually done still, and that's per the SLA. I have had a few of those that have come up, but those have been few and far between.

Centralized visibility has improved SOC investigations and supports faster, more accurate incident response
I think ReliaQuest GreyMatter could be improved further in a few areas. First, I want to see more flexibility in dashboard customization so analysts can configure views based on their roles and investigation requirements. Second, improving alert correlation accuracy and reducing overall false positive rates would help analysts focus on genuine possible threats rather than spending time validating repetitive low-priority alerts or false positives. Third, more detailed investigation timelines, better reporting capabilities, and simpler investigation integration configuration would make the platform more effective. I suggest continuously improving automation workflows to reduce repetitive manual tasks while allowing analysts to maintain control over critical response actions. Overall, I think these enhancements can make the platform more user-friendly and improve the efficiency of SOC operations. One additional improvement would be enhancing the investigation experience by providing more detailed context directly within the alert. For example, having a clear incident timeline, related alerts, historical activity, and threat intelligence information available in one place would make investigations easier. I believe these improvements would make day-to-day SOC operations smoother and allow analysts to focus more on proactive threat hunting and other complex investigations.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"Its machine learning and AI features are good, and the real-time updates that it gets with respect to threats are very good."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR has greatly improved my confidence in our organization's ability to respond to security incidents, knowing that CrowdStrike is there to help our organization with threats."
"The most valuable feature is the Managed Detection and Response."
"The most valuable feature of Falcon Complete is that it is a full security operations center (SOC) as well as a SIEM solution, and it is fully managed. Their security teams are working 24/7 and analyzing everything happening on all endpoints. They also take care of the instant response, which includes disconnecting endpoints, taking over the endpoints and fixing them, and ransomware protection. All of these things are most valuable because it is very difficult to get all the resources in-house to do all of that yourself. So, if you can leverage the experience of a global corporation with the best reputation in the market, and it is fully managed, that's the best."
"Their intelligence is really good. The security whitepapers that they write are outstanding. They handle it all for the clients. CrowdStrike Complete is managed by CrowdStrike. They only call a client if there is a problem that they can't address. They pretty much contain and eradicate. This is not something that every vendor provides."
"Security has been a lot tighter with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, there have been no artifacts or anything left on any machines, and it runs smoothly within my environment."
"The process tree is incredibly valuable, and there are lots of links within detections to help jumpstart understanding of what happened and why the detection triggered."
"The features of Firewall Management control, combined with controls in NextGen, are the most useful for our clients."
"ReliaQuest GreyMatter saves around 60% of time or resources."
"One of the best features that ReliaQuest GreyMatter offers is the ability to bring together security tools and data that support threat investigation, detection, and response."
"ReliaQuest GreyMatter has helped us to reduce security incidents by 89%, which is a significant amount of incidents we have seen."

Cons

"The customization could be tweaked. We can do a bunch of custom dashboards. However, the one thing that I'm not a fan of is when you go to do an investigation, the way that the processes are laid out on the screen is very bland looking. While the information is there, it could be laid out better."
"In the CrowdStrike, you have some sort of limited information and for the in-depth information you need to take it, Carbon Black provides that particular thing on the first view."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete could improve by having advanced features, such as SOC, and HDR. There would have been a lot of processes involved."
"I would like to have the option to deploy on-premise."
"What could be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is the threat hunting feature and the insights it provides, in particular, the variable analysis feature. Protection against zero-day threats and sandboxing could also be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete. If you compare it with other solutions, it can go head-to-head, but the features I mentioned still need improvement."
"The technical support is good. However, the technical support is outsourced to India which causes some language barriers. I am not sure if this is still an issue, they might have allotted more suitable representatives."
"The support from CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is very fast. The support could improve if it was in the French language."
"The downside that we see with CrowdStrike is that it is not part of a broader ecosystem."
"Areas that have room for improvement include user interface and integration."
"ReliaQuest GreyMatter is stable to a certain extent, but there is still some room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have a yearly license, and it could be cheaper."
"The solution needs to have human involvement, they could improve by having more automation where the solution can take the necessary action on time and more accurately."
"I think the pricing is a little high."
"CrowdStrike offers solutions with the same functionality for both large enterprises and small to medium organizations with competitive pricing."
"The licenses are sold per user."
"While the cost is relatively high, it is justified by the value it brings."
"The average price is approximately $500 per customer."
"The pricing for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is competitive. It's a cheaper solution when you compare it with others, and on a scale of one to five, I'm rating its pricing a four. You also don't need to pay extra for its features. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is perfect."
