Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The CSPM module has been the most effective. It was easy to deploy and covered all our accounts through APIs, requiring no agents. Wiz provides instant visibility into high-level risks that we need to address.""The first thing that stood out was the ease of installation and the quick value we got out of the solution.""With Wiz, we get timely alerts for leaked data or any vulnerabilities already existing in our environment.""Our most important features are those around entitlement, external exposure, vulnerabilities, and container security.""The product supports out-of-the-box reporting with context about the asset and allows us to perform complex custom queries on UI.""The security baseline and vulnerability assessments is the valuable feature.""Out of all the features, the one item that has been most valuable is the fact that Wiz puts into context all the pieces that create an issue, and applies a particular risk evaluation that helps us prioritize when we need to address a misconfiguration, vulnerability, or any issue that would put our environment into risk.""The vulnerability management modules and the discovery and inventory are the most valuable features. Before using Wiz, it was a very manual process for both. After implementing it, we're able to get all of the analytics into a single platform that gives us visibility across all the systems in our cloud. We're able to correspond and understand what the vulnerability landscape looks like a lot faster."

"The most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is its lightweight sensor, taking minimal space and not impacting server performance.""It is fully cloud-based, so we don't need to invest in third-party agents repeatedly.""The RTR feature stands out as particularly valuable to me due to its capability to log into machines.""The immediate mitigation of potential threats and instant alerts are valuable.""CrowdStrike utilizes signatureless technology, eliminating the need for regular signature updates on endpoint systems.""The most valuable feature of Falcon Cloud Security is its comprehensive threat-hunting ability.""There is a lot that it can do, but endpoint protection is the main thing about it. The fact that it uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to monitor and remediate the issues in real-time is probably the bread and butter of the product.""It's easy to gather insights and conduct analysis about existing threats."

"The stability is quite good.""Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's best features are security analysis, remote access security, and driver security.""Trend Vision One - Cloud Security does not utilize a lot of resources which allows our users to keep working even during a scan.""The most valuable part of Trend Vision One - Cloud Security is its dashboard, as it's simple. It's easy to manage, and you can better control the solution.""The most valuable features are intrusion prevention and anti-malware capabilities.""The tech support is excellent. They really know their products. They also know a lot of about the integrations between different solutions.""The product helps us understand our environment better.""I really like Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's dashboard."

Cons
"The only thing that needs to be improved is the number of scans per day.""Given the level of visibility into all the cloud environments Wiz provides, it would be nice if they could integrate some kind of mechanism to better manage tenants on multiple platforms. For example, let's say that some servers don't have an application they need, such as an antivirus. Wiz could include an API or something to push those applications out to the servers. It would be great if you could remedy these issues directly from the Wiz platform.""We wish there were a way, beyond providing visibility and automated remediation, to wait on a given remediation, due to a critical aspect, such as the cost associated with a particular upgrade... We would like to see preventive controls that can be applied through Wiz to protect against vulnerabilities that we're not going to be able to remediate immediately.""The remediation workflow within the Wiz could be improved.""The solution's container security could be improved.""One significant issue is that the searches are case-sensitive, so finding a misconfigured resource can become very challenging.""We would like to see improvements to executive-level reporting and data reporting in general, which we understand is being rolled out to the platform.""The only small pain point has been around some of the logging integrations. Some of the complexities of the script integrations aren't supported with some of the more automated infrastructure components. So, it's not as universal. For example, they have great support for cloud formation and other services, but if you're using another type of management utility or governance language for your infrastructure-as-code automation components, it becomes a little bit trickier to navigate that."

More Wiz Cons →

"It would be more convenient if there was an easier way to install CrowdStrike, perhaps through better integration with Active Directory.""The UI part needs to be improved.""The only suggestion for improvement would be the pricing.""There should be cloud storage scanning. We would like to have cloud storage vulnerability and threat management on any cloud storage.""The only challenge lies in token verification.""One area for improvement in Falcon Cloud Security is the support portal.""Incorporating threat intelligence into the system would be a valuable addition.""Different file options should be available, and clients should be able to select from the options."

More CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security Cons →

"The initial setup can be complex for the inexperienced.""The licensing model could be improved. To gain full coverage, you need to spend more to buy subscriptions for each kind of service they offer. It will start to be pricey if you want full coverage.""The pricing can get high.""The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent.""Documentation on cloud architecture and job architecture would be helpful.""Trend Vision One - Cloud Security seems to have a preference for AWS Cloud over Azure and would be improved by focusing equally on both.""There are also some loopholes because it's a new product that they have recently migrated to the cloud. We do see some issues with the policies we have assigned when it comes to a particular account. There are some issues with system support, such as a particular server kernel version that is not supported.""Securing S3 using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security can cost too much. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has a tool that requires lots of privileges. From my understanding, it's only for static application testing, so they need to add dynamic application testing, and there should be more collaboration with the application testing tools on the market. We have not used this product, and I don't know if they plan to decommission it or something. They should focus on application security because this tool's unique feature is multi-cloud support. However, they should improve integration with tools for these kinds of use cases, especially application security and dynamic scanning. For example, I would like it to support Dell SecureOps. I'd also like to see some enhancements to API gateway security."
