Useful for creating templates on Salesforce object records
What I like about Conga Composer is that it's much easier than Salesforce's native templating. It's simple to add merge fields, write queries to pull data and access up to four levels of related objects. This makes it very comfortable to get all the needed data into templates. We can use Word templates with Word boxes and customize everything. Its conditions are very easy to write and hide content based on requirements. When used with DocuSign, Conga Composer can calculate currency fields that DocuSign can't. We can default to PDF and hide content to reduce errors. We can generate invoices by clicking a button and hiding tables, which we can't do in DocuSign. We can download and attach documents to notes and attachments or any field we require. The solution with Salesforce allows us to generate templates with a single click after some configuration steps.

Passportal centralizes and securely manages client credentials and sensitive information, enhancing both security and efficiency.
Passportal offers the capability to automatically rotate passwords, allowing users to set customizable policies for expiration dates and password strength. You can define requirements for the number of letters, symbols, numbers, and case sensitivity, and the system will generate passwords accordingly. Policies can be updated as needed to maintain security. As a comprehensive password and information management solution, Passportal supports the addition of assets, licensing details, SSL certificates, domains, articles, and documents. When referring to adding assets, this means documenting relevant information, not monitoring them. For example, when we onboard a new engineer responsible for managing clients, we create a user profile for them in Passportal and grant access to the pertinent client information. This centralized access ensures they have all necessary details in one place, streamlining their workflow.

"Conga Composer is very easy to use. It's easy to debug if you have an issue."
"The most valuable feature of the N-able Passportal is its functionality. You can store your passwords safely, and not just anyone can gain access to them. If you have an onsite system, it can change the password for you on a daily basis. This is a great benefit because you don't have to worry about if the account's breached tomorrow, your pass is going to be changed. It's perfect."
"The most valuable features of the N-able Passportal are the password rotations, and the ability to be able to store passwords. You can have it on your phone or your desktop. You're not required to have it only on your desktop computer."
"Passportal also helps manage assets. You can add information about your infrastructure, like routers, including model numbers, operating systems, expiration dates, and licensing."

Cons

"We have not been using Conga Composer extensively or deeply to look for improvements."
"The query builder could use some updates."
"It would be better to have a custom button that automatically sends a document to the client's email and sends it for a signature with a single click."
"If there could be a preview option available directly in the application for testing templates instead of having to download and test them manually, it would save time."
"The biggest area where Conga needs improvement is its documentation. The documentation is good but not up to par with other platforms like Salesforce, which has extensive documentation and a helpful community."
"The documentation could be improved."
"For newcomers to the platform, the removal of certain suggestions in recent releases can be a pain area."

"N-able Passportal can improve the stability because sometimes I can't log in. I had some issues a couple of months ago where I couldn't log in and that was problematic."
"Sometimes accessing the solution is a bit slow, but that could be due to conditions at many different points. However, some issues that do arise are outside of our control."
"I'd like to see the ability to provide both credential management and documentation management for clients. Currently, they only get access to credential management."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I think the tool costs around six dollars per user."

"For its value, Passportal's price is affordable."
