Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product is stable.""I can use any other tools to create services and the UI, and then use them together with the Camunda BPMN engine.""Camunda's most valuable feature is its ability to integrate with different products.""When I compare it with other BPM tools, like IBM, it is great, open source, and free when you use the community version.""The interface and the number of connectors that they provide are the most valuable features. The support here, it's kind of okay. But the main thing is with the number of connectors and the UI, the user interface.""The flexibility is great."", Camunda can be a powerful tool to work with when used in an optimized and well-implemented manner.""The most valuable features are the management of internal processes, the ability to execute from design and the model for internal processes, the ability to make processes visible, and the ability to have information about the current state of each instance."

"The dashboard is the solution's most valuable feature. When clients want to look at the data it's very easy for them to do so. The dashboard for the IT manager is very useful if there are issues and to create and follow processes.""In our opinion this group are the leaders in providing RPA solutions.""In terms of stability, it's quite good. It's an internal IP product.""For automating mundane activities, I can recommend WorkFusion.""If you compare it to its competitors in the market, it is more Java-native.""The document processing engine is good. We're extracting around 70 data points from a given document, and we have an automated extraction rate of 80 percent for those fields.""The tool itself is easy. I started using it without really having any coding experience... After just a few clicks, it was doing reconciliations for me.""The automation process is the most valuable feature."

Cons
"Collaborations and process documentation in Camunda Platform are areas with shortcomings that need improvement.""When trying to design rule tables the solutions graphical user interface could improve, it could be more user friendly.""The cockpit features of the Camunda Platform can be improved to make it a bit more user-friendly, in terms of providing a bit more user experience for non-technical users. There could be some additional documentation added.""In terms of features, it meets my needs, but I would like Camunda to have an office in Brazil and provide training in Portuguese. They should provide regional support and training courses in Portuguese.""It has a Postgres database at the backend, and it is very difficult to scale if you increase the number of processes running. We did hit some barriers. We were able to overcome them, but it was a problem. Camunda has another product called Camunda Cloud, which supposedly doesn't have the same scalability problems, but we are not using Camunda Cloud because the set of features is smaller than Camunda On-Premises. So, its scalability can be improved. Because it has a single database, it is more difficult to scale if you have a huge success.""I would like to have a feature for audit logging, audit logs and audit log management. And some history of use for the audit logs.""Without a proper frontend, the business cannot effectively use the platform.""The product's initial setup phase is difficult for beginners."

More Camunda Cons →

"WorkFusion comes packed with certain libraries and .jars. At times, you understand that you're using a system in which a library or .jar is outdated and you need to upgrade it... They need to better manage quickly making changes in WorkFusion to accommodate a situation where other technologies are not supporting the platform.""We are having some database issues, but we are addressing them.""Machine learning models for document-heavy processes have room for improvement because they require significant effort to train and update.""The most common issue we have is with the OCR, but that also depends on the quality of the documents your scanning. Still, I would say the OCR is comparable to other solutions. I wouldn't say it's better or worse than other OCR engines.""I would like WorkFusion to improve the automation rate when evaluating unstructured text.""I would like it if they provided a more detailed roadmap in terms of where they are going with the product. As we are trying to make decisions about the things that we are going to do to try to augment our capabilities, we could know whether they are thinking about the same things or not.""We have had some problems in the past with the Inspector tool that looks at the elements on the screen. Replacing it or improving it is needed.""I would also like for it to be NLP-based."

  • "Find it online."
  • "They have a very expensive license compared to any other automation tool. For instance, at $50,000 - $60,000, you can bring in an Automation Anywhere solution. For this solution, you need at least $250,000 to get something going."

  • "The solution was not the cheapest, but it was also not the most expensive. Workfusion was very open to negotiating pricing and to working within the objectives of our firm."
