Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Provides good stability, but it could be intuitive and easier to use
The product’s current version could be easier and straightforward to work with small IT organizations, similar to the older version. Its asset management feature has been significantly affected since the upgrade. Earlier, it was able to perform skill-based routing automatically. We could set up parameters within the system and view the details of the incident or a ticket. The same functionality needs to be fine-tuned in the new system.

Automated onboarding has saved hundreds of hours and now standardizes device security globally
In terms of how Ivanti Neurons for UEM can be improved, I think there's potential for automation of some repetitive tasks. The device provisioning process has already become very close to zero-touch, but the patch deployment is still scheduled and policy-driven. As a result, I believe we can reduce endpoint administration further. I also think the number of integrations and the scalability of the tool can be improved, along with customer service, as we've encountered some issues in certain countries. Regarding the needed improvements, particularly concerning integrations or customer service challenges, we have had problems with integration with some third-party tools requiring additional configuration and testing. Occasionally, we also experienced delays between systems, particularly with user group changes and device compliance updates. The accuracy and reliability of output from Ivanti's AI can be improved. We notice that the AI-driven insights are useful, but there are anomalies and some false positives. Since we are still in a validation period, I cannot provide a definitive mark, but I believe that accuracy should be enhanced, especially for more complex and environment-specific issues where human intervention is still needed.

Pros

"If we want to read a scanned PDF, we use IQ Bot. Using the cognitive detail of IQ Bot and some machine learning abilities, we can train the IQ Bot to process all scanned PDF documents and give the results in an Excel file. Cons

"It does not easily integrate with customized solutions."
"We would like it to be more user-friendly."
"Investment effect is almost none, unfortunately."
"More structured and unstructured data collection will be a challenge. While we have the IQ Bot tool, the success rate at the beginning will be lower. It will be around 20 to 30 percent at the start because you need to train the bot at regular intervals. Of course, this depends on the data. This area could use be improvement."
"I would like to see a technology where they can automatically update or upgrade themselves to the latest version, without having to uninstall the current bot."
"The version that we are using has been difficult for us to code."
"The quality and response time of the support, even on Sev-1 tickets, is not satisfactory."

"The area where we would like to see improvement is in the asset management module."
"Currently, if you go and check the reports in the packet, the reports are useless; reporting is really bad."
"Their self-service is not user friendly."
"There are a few items that I would like changed or extra features that could be added to our current version of this software, but those are all going to be addressed in a future software update."
"The solution is cumbersome to use."
"Track-It! works great for a mid-size company, but anything over 700 employees, and trying to use Track-It! for any other areas of the business is difficult."
"Regarding how Ivanti Neurons for UEM can be improved, the dashboard can be quite complex for first-time users and even small-scale organizations."
"Customer support is really poor."
"The price being quite high and the limited container storage are areas that have room for improvement."
"The reports have to show the compliance level of the patching, which Ivanti does not provide."
"The ticket resolution workflow requires duplicate documentation, which does not add value and increases the time required to process tickets."
"The product's support and configuration need to improve. It needs to be more scalable."
"From my perspective of having just moved away from the product, I would probably give it a six."
"UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"When you compare the cost of Automation Anywhere with UiPath and Blue Prism, those others are much less. Licensing-wise, UiPath wins the deal."
"I advise others that even as of right now, the setup cost and licensing cost to automate bots on Automation Anywhere is steep but it is worth the investment!"
"The initial setup and licensing fees are high, and although it saves costs in the long run, reaching the break-even point can take at least six months."
"Their overall pricing falls in the middle of the market. Cost-wise, Automation Anywhere is quite expensive because of their analytics, IQ Bots, and MetaBots. For a standalone machine, the pricing is okay. When adding in the licensing for IQ Bots (or MetaBots), it can become quite costly."
"Initially, they charged a premium, but now the rest of the vendors have increased their overall pricing and Automation Anywhere is not that high at this time. It's pretty viable."
"AA comes at a more affordable price than the other tools."
"The licensing fees are approximately $10,000 USD for between five and ten users."
"The price for Automation Anywhere is reasonable."
"BMC Track-It!’s price is reasonable compared to other products."
"The price of MobileIron UEM is very good."
"For the one that works with SCCM, it is relatively inexpensive at $8 USD per node, yearly. The standalone product has two versions; the one that patches servers is about $45 USD annually and the version that patches workstations is about half that price at $22 USD."
"The solution is expensive compared to other products."
"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
"The solution is affordable."
"While the price is a bit high, it may be equitable with the features one gets with the product, such as that involving the interface."
"The license can get expensive if you have a lot of nodes."
