We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"The tool's most valuable feature is its integration with the banks. Its messaging and routing capabilities are good.""Essentially, you can do whatever you like with these systems, and you do not have to take care about the scaling because if one server is overloaded, it just forwards the message to the next server, even if it were designated to a specific server. It weeds out the messages according to the load. If you want to scale it, you just add new servers.""I rate the tool's stability a nine out of ten.""The most valuable feature of BizTalk Server is that it will turn XML into flexible transactions.""BIzTalk's integration with Visual Studio is the most valuable feature of this product."

"Ease of use and ability to streamline a process model.""The modeler is useful for creating the flow. The way to access the data through their REST API is also valuable. This is what we're using right now.""The BPMN diagram is valuable. For our use case of transferring money from one account to another, the connections have to be done in the traditional financial ways. There are a lot of unexpected errors and a lot of instability with this kind of system, and we are using Camunda in order to have clear flows. With BPMN, I can show a flow to my business partner, and the business team can easily understand what's going on. The technical team can understand what the implementation is, and we can model different errors and the process for recovering from these errors.""Its flexibility stands out as the most valuable feature.""It is quite easy to build a simple process without any knowledge of programming.""For an internal project, this is a solution that you can install and have up and running quite quickly.""We are using the BPMN engine of Camunda; we are not using the user interface. We are using just the engine, the back end of this. For us, it is working quite well.""Easy to use and easy to integrate into the products and applications we provide for our customers."

"The product's deployment can be quicker""BizTalk Server is an outdated legacy system that does not support messaging.""The deployment could be simplified.""It's a complex product because you have many degrees of freedom to connect different parts together. Whether it's sensible or not, is up to you, but the machine does allow it. But because of the vast degrees of freedom, it's complex.""BizTalk is in the past, Microsoft is not going to evolve it any further or add any new features."

More BizTalk Server Cons →

"If there were some industry templates it would have helped significantly, because it is similar to a process map for a domain. That is what we are currently creating, a domain-relevant process map.""I think it would be important to internationalize the Cockpit and the Admin as well as with the Tasklist.""I have faced problems in bringing up the Cockpit in terms of GUI processes. I think that there is room for improvement in those areas.""The user interface needs improvement. It should be more tailored to the end-user and offer a better user experience design over the user interface itself.""I would like to have a feature for audit logging, audit logs and audit log management. And some history of use for the audit logs.""They have a migration plugin that can be used to migrate from one BPM to another BPM. It is in the beta stage since last year. If they can make it available in the market, it would be great. We are going to have a couple of migration projects for migrating from IBM BPM to Camunda, and this plugin would be useful. I have already discussed this with them two weeks ago and asked them to look into this and add it as a feature. We are expecting this plugin to be available in the next version. This is the only requirement we have at present. They keep on coming up with different features, which is helping us a lot. Its latest release that came out last month was awesome.""It would be helpful to have more readily available use cases on the internet. Camunda's documentation feels less comprehensive.""I think that Camunda can try to do better when it comes to solving the complexities of all the products in its software stack."
