Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves.""The user interface is pretty good.""Very user friendly and a professional solution.""The documentation capabilities are very good. Very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature. It has a good balance between the effort and the result. So, you don't need to be too detailed. You can document while you are modeling, which is a very good feature.""I like the business process management engine. It's very detailed, and you can probably map any of the corporate workflow processes you come across in it compared to some of the other solutions out there. I can probably say that it has very good support to work in tandem with other RP solutions in the market. The software is still very user-friendly and integral, and they have pretty good online resources. The automation feature is pretty good, so is the integration feature.""This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company.""The most valuable feature is that it is compatible with Visual Studio and .NET, and we can program it. Its speed is very good, and it is also stable and easy to deploy.""I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited. However, while it's unlimited use, some features aren't available."

"I really like the visual representation. It actually looks like a flow chart, which is nicer than a SharePoint Designer workflow, which doesn't have that ability.""It has integration with BI and Analytics tools, and RPA toolsets as well.""The SharePoint feature is a really good connection, there are many features that are good.""This solution is very easy to use and customize, using almost zero coding. It's built on SharePoint which many companies in our country have experience with. This made it easy to adapt the application in our environment."

Cons
"Difficult to export in formats other than PDF.""The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version. I've been trying to check some maps, for example, organizational maps or a model on organization hierarchy. Apparently, there seems to be no template. You have to create your own. I am not sure if there are templates, but I've not really seen any. I think that there's room for improvement.""The open source version lacks the option to publish.""I would like to see the automation process included in the next release.""The gateway through which it connects with other vendors, specifically RPA vendors, is one aspect that could be improved.""I would like to see a facility for building a simple CRUD application. In Bizagi, you can use database modeling, diagrams, forms, etc., but in some circumstances I need CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionalities which are not there yet.""Bizagi allows for automation, but it's very complicated.""Its price can be improved. The price is high for the application as well as for maintaining and developing applications. When you develop, for example, a BPM, you need to pay a lot for Bizagi."

More Bizagi Cons →

"Unfortunately, Nintex Workflow is not that stable. We are looking at shifting to another tool.""We would like to have access to an on-premises solution. In our country, we have a relationship with Central Bank of Egypt, which do noes not allow cloud solutions to be used. They should offer an on-prem solution with a flexible price license.""We would like to design parallel workflows and long-running workflows, along with new features for connecting to cloud-based systems.""The interface could be better and more language support is needed in the development environment or in the solutions platform in general.""The solution is a bit too expensive. It could be cheaper."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It has a very high price. Many clients complain about the price for maintaining the application on Bizagi."
  • "Make sure that your requirements are explicitly defined from the outset. This will help you choose the right setup and licensing for your needs."
  • "It is expensive."
  • "It is not expensive."
  • "We didn't use the licensed versions where you could exactly go into automatization. However, we looked at the pricing in the beginning, and the only thing that I remember is that it was too expensive for the things we were using because our clients would also have to license the product. One client said that it was too expensive for the benefit they get out of it."
  • "I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
  • "Some solutions are completely free. One would be the business process diagramming tool, the server beneath it, and the automation tool. You don't need to pay to map the business process, but you would need to when you want to execute any of the commands. So, basically, they lure you in with a free ride, and when you want to scale the solution, you'll have to pay for it."
  • "I used to be very pleased with the pricing. Now, it's a bit more complicated. I don't remember exactly, however, it might be $10 a month per user."

  • "Comparatively, it's expensive."
  • "We pay on a yearly basis. It's my understanding that we pay approximately $11,000/year."
  • "The price of this solution is affordable but the problem in Algeria is our community is a bit slower. The new clients might feel the solution is a bit expensive."
  • "This solution is affordable and is cheaper than most alternatives on the market. We have a standard cloud license that costs about 20k per year."
