We performed a comparison between Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Tufin Orchestration Suite based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Container Security solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable features of AKS are scalability, deployability, and automation."
"The product has built-in functionality that checks whether the service is available or not. In case the service is down, the tool will create a new instance by default. Hence, the web API will be always up irrespective of the server or the situation."
"The solution's technical support is excellent."
"The serverless capability and auto scale feature are the most valuable."
"The setup was straightforward and it took one hour to deploy."
"I have enjoyed working with all the features."
"The advantage of AKS is somewhat greater than that of Kubernetes, such as those provided by Google Cloud or AWS. However, the unique benefit offered by Microsoft is its robust CI/CD capabilities, along with the Azure feature for building workflows. When you combine the entire ecosystem, AKS becomes an excellent choice, particularly for enterprise applications."
"AKS is easy to use. We can scale up and down as needed with AKS, which saves us money on our cloud costs."
"We can get reports with Tufin at anytime. We can have automated reports, even with security and compliance."
"It is very easy to use. We can get results back quickly."
"The most valuable feature is the reporting of our risk poster in our firewall."
"The solution is quite scalable."
"We just got done with major audits. Tufin was able to provide information to give back to people, and say, "Hey, this is what I need to do, and what we're doing.""
"It is extremely scalable. It really addresses the scale of a company's firewall footprint."
"Tufin assists us in maintaining a robust view of our internal network topology."
"The solution is good, and no clients complained about it."
"The initial setup is complex."
"The solution should improve its UI and cost."
"AKS could enhance its functionality by introducing a blueprint feature that streamlines and expedites the process. With a blueprint, users can leverage pre-defined configurations, including some common survey elements, reducing the need for extensive customization and allowing us to focus on our core business activities. Additionally, if the blueprint covers security aspects, it would be greatly beneficial, as it eliminates the need for us to build security expertise from scratch. Currently, we encounter challenges during cloud onboarding, security implementation, and adapting to Kubernetes. Although Microsoft may not consider these as their direct responsibility, providing a blueprint similar to what they offer to developers would be highly advantageous."
"It would be nice if they could handle the management of personal information more efficiently."
"It can be tough to access the servers when onboarding."
"The engineering team can reduce the management of the platform itself by improving the data plane part of the system to upload more management."
"The product’s cost could be reduced."
"Its integration functions could be enhanced."
"We use a lot of inline rules, and it would be beneficial to see those from within Tufin."
"There were some hiccups here and there with the initial setup."
"For me, there are two things that can make Tufin a bit better... [It needs] a better focus on automation - automating a lot of the processes; and automating rule re-certification, or at least finding a way to simplify it."
"The biggest area where I see a need for improvement is some of the documentation and training stuff. It does a really good job of hitting the big concepts, but it needs like another layer deeper of actually getting into some of the details of how to do some of the things. Conceptually, I understand how the product works, but now how do I start building stuff and integrating it into my environment."
"I would like to see them get rid of the REST APIs and use something more modern."
"I would like to simplify the reports, and maybe have another view besides the charts. Possibly they could be more graphical."
"The pricing of the solution is rather expensive."
"I would like a better reporting feature and automatic alerting based upon rule changes."
