Migration has become seamless and cost tracking is simplified for hybrid file workloads
I think if Azure Files could integrate migration using Storage Mover, that would be an improvement. I don't think they have an option currently. Storage Mover only has an option to migrate blob storage or cold storage from one subscription to another subscription or from one tenant to another tenant. You only have options to migrate blob storage. For Azure Files, that is an SMB transfer, so you need to use AZCopy for that. If there is a migration where you want to migrate your blob storage from one subscription to another or from one tenant to another, you have the Storage Mover option where you can easily migrate blob storage. However, Storage Mover does not support Azure Files.

Have faced some confusion with the interface but have managed collaboration and document sharing efficiently
We currently use Notion for project management and CRM, which includes document capabilities and task management features. We have a self-hosted solution and utilize Google Drive Enterprise for everyday tasks. We are customers of Google and integrate Google Drive Enterprise with third-party applications. The compliance requirements are met through the platform's features. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Google Drive Enterprise an 8.

"It's easy to use."
"Google Drive Enterprise has helped compile data in one spot."
"I like that you can easily create folders and sort things by sliding them in and out. I like the sliding option. It's quite nice."

Cons

"I think if Azure Files could integrate migration using Storage Mover, that would be an improvement."
"The product does not support certain formats."
"Google Drive Enterprise can improve by having better compatibility with Microsoft files."
"There are a few kinks to work out at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple and extremely useful."
"Google Drive Enterprise can improve by having better compatibility with Microsoft files. Google Drive Enterprise sometimes blocks Japanese characters in documents."
"If somebody has made changes, for example, there should be a timestamp. Also, if two or three people are working and someone deletes something, a mechanism to retrieve the previous version should be available."
"I also use Word from Microsoft Office. Sometimes it's difficult to find some features that are available in Office and not available in Google Docs or are in a different place (if you are more used to Word)."
"The product lacks scalability and I feel it could be more secure."
"Google should also make it simpler to manage rights and access for different users. I want to share one folder with some people and another with other groups. It's not easy to manage. You have to use Google's web interface to assign rights, but IBM Box lets you permissions directly on the Windows interface."

"The solution has a subscription-based license."
"You don't need to pay if it is within your storage limits. If you need more, you can have a corporate license. I don't know the pricing, but there is a corporate license. The extra costs would only be if you exceed these free limits."
