Managed services with seamless integration and good reliability
Since I have to view everything on the console, the previous application solutions like IBM and Sanavi showed the RPO and RTO status directly. In AWS Disaster Recovery Service, these details are not available, making it difficult to check my replication status. I have to calculate whether my data is replicated to the Adarabad region or not. These features, if available in AWS, would be beneficial.

Real-time synchronization optimizes disaster recovery processes with minimal manual intervention
As for the drawbacks or downsides, there is currently no room for improvement in this solution. They have clearly mentioned that on the licensing part. If you select a normal starter license, then you have to give the RTO, RPO two hours. Apart from this, we can deliver real-time 15 minutes. In future updates, there is currently no feature I would like to see in the product. We already discussed with the technical team and product engineering team because I'm a part of the partner technical advisory board of Nutanix. Monthly and weekly, we connect with them for the product features map.

Pros

"The strong points are the stability and scalability of the solution, as well as the convenience of it being cloud-based."
"AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery is a robust and reliable solution for disaster recovery needs."
"We went from an organization with minimal to no disaster recovery. I was able to spin up the disaster recovery environment with AWS rather quickly and meet business requirements."
"It provides our disaster recovery solution. It works fine in our tests."
"Technical support has been very good. They usually respond quickly to our requests."
"It's on the cheaper side and not too expensive for users."
"CloudEndure Disaster Recovery is a fairly stable solution."
"Customer service is quite helpful."
"It is a very secure and scalable solution, and their support is also outstanding."
"The best features of Nutanix Disaster Recovery as a Service include real-time synchronization with the best RTO and RPO, inbuilt data protection with snapshot feature functionality, automatic DR site upgrades, ISO certified compliance reporting, and seamless integration with over 1800 certified software applications."
"One-Click Disaster Recovery improves the overall business processes within an organization, I am very satisfied with its performance, and our customers are equally satisfied."
"The tool's most valuable feature is ease of use."
"Hyper-convergence gives me the ability to patch my firmware, software, and hypervisors with a single click. That is extremely useful."
"The solution is stable."
"We haven't needed anyone to maintain or deploy the solution. The traditional Nutanix administrator can administer the solution."
"It offers synchronous data replication, allowing us to sync our recovery data every hour and efficiently send applications to remote sites."

Cons

"The user interface, customer support, and the recovery time for the current customer query could use improvement."
"Sometimes a server will get a bit behind. "
"The only thing I would like to see is, they don't have a formal ticketing system. There is no way I can go back and see what questions we had six months back, what issues we had, and how they were resolved."
"An improved AWS pricing model is needed."
"The UI could be a little sleeker."
"In its current state, ECL integrates with CloudWatch for basic logging and monitoring, yet improvements could include more detailed logs for specific actions, like when I perform actions such as push or pull."
"The bandwidth is a constant upload communication to the AWS DR environment, so if you do not have the proper bandwidth, it will definitely eat up your internet line."
"I set up a test, deleted the source, and went to fail it back, and it didn't work."
"It needs to work more to comply with all available certificates for compliance, including healthcare, financial sector, and Aramco-specific requirements."
"It needs to work more to comply with all available certificates for compliance, including healthcare, financial sector, and Aramco-specific requirements."
"I think that Nutanix should support public clouds instead of the Nutanix data centers."
"The product is more costly than other platforms. The price could be better."
"For moving the data for DR, we are using Megaport. We are using a Megaport link between the data centers, so we have a third party for the site-to-site connectivity between the data centers. If such connectivity is available from the Nutanix side, it would be helpful for us."
"They need better reporting on the environment."
"The pricing could be better."
"The solution needs improvement in cost."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It has saved us money from having to buy hardware for disaster recovery."
"I rate the price of CloudEndure Disaster Recovery a six out of ten."
"Where the price adds up, there are CloudEndure licenses, then there is the AWS environment, and finally, there is the AWS storage, so cumulatively, it adds up."
"We were happy with the pricing that they gave us."
"CloudEndure Disaster Recovery is charging clients $20 to do the DR backups. It is an expensive solution."
"The pricing is better now that they had come out with the Tier 2 which replicates a little less often. In comparison to what I would have been spending with any other type of solution, the pricing is fair."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing an eight out of ten."
"They license us on a per machine basis. We have a set number of machines, which we have licensed."
"One-time costs may initially seem high, but they reflect the quality of the service received."
"Besides the license, there are additional costs with the network connection. The customer may want a direct connection between the two data centers and that has an extra cost."
"It is a little bit cheaper than the other products in the market. It is affordable."
"I always want it to be cheaper."
