Cloud security has improved as AI-driven runtime protection detects threats and reduces incidents
In my opinion, Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks could be improved or enhanced in various ways. I don't have an idea about that yet because for that you actually need to use two or three different other tools to make a basic comparison. If you ask me how good the tool is, I would fairly rate it quite high. The tool is very popular, and customers can already see that it is one of the cloud leaders in the security space. The platform had a very good feature which provides documentation links about how to use a specific feature on the UI. It takes you to the proper documentation page where it suggests what to do and tells you about the steps that need to be done for a resource deployment. My thoughts about improving the product which I believe could greatly aid vendors is that it used to be a very user-friendly tool, but now they have incorporated everything under one umbrella. It has XDR, XSOAR, and Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks. Before, we used to have separate modules and separate environments for each of these capabilities or features. Right now, it is a little complex and users would take their own time to know the tool better. This is something that would have been way better, but I would say there would be different opinions on this. Talking about user-friendliness, it has decreased now.

Centralized visibility has streamlined risk-based vulnerability management and collaboration
Features that I would like to see included for this application are more advanced customization options for dashboards and reporting, especially for different stakeholder groups, and additional out-of-box integrations. I would also recommend the incorporation of AI-assisted recommendations for vulnerability prioritization and remediation guidance, which would be more valuable. One area that I would see for improvement in ArmorCode is the need for out-of-box integrations that I have already mentioned. Another area would be greater customizations with the dashboards, as organizations need different views for security engineering and leadership. I would also like to see the usage of AI-enhanced remediation prioritization recommendations, as these are the main areas I would love to see in ArmorCode.

Unified dashboards have streamlined code‑to‑cloud risk tracking and reduced manual reviews
The best features of Wiz Code that I appreciate the most include their entire dashboarding and the seamless integration with different DevOps tooling like GitHub or Azure DevOps. It seamlessly integrates, allowing you to run scanners directly onto the machines without consuming too many resources, and the recategorization of vulnerabilities is absolutely wonderful, giving you a complete attack path, which is something I love about Wiz Code because it details the entire lateral movement of the issue, whether it is a complete shift-left or shift-right, serving as the differentiators compared to other tools in the market. When I talk about ROI with Wiz Code, it almost cuts you down to 20% to 25% of the daily effort needed in terms of FTE. If you are working with around 100 developers or engineers, you might come down to 60 to 70 engineers, with the rest completely automated by removing false positives, showcasing where the USP comes in.

"I have absolutely seen improvements in our incident close rates, with mean time to detect and respond reduced significantly, sometimes by at least forty to fifty percent."
"The AI and automation features in detecting and responding to high-risk threats are impressive; it's one of the best tools regarding AI technology and unifies security in one platform in real-time, improving vulnerability analysis, incident response, and compliance reporting."
"From a technical standpoint or pricing, Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks is a stronger solution in the market at the moment compared to other products from ConnectWise or Symantec."
"Overall, Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks is a technically strong product, and I rate it ten out of ten."
"The capabilities of Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks are valuable because it is the best product in the market."

"Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks' cloud runtime security in terms of stopping attacks in real time is impressive."
"ArmorCode has positively impacted our organization with many positive outcomes, particularly in reducing the amount of manual effort required to aggregate and analyze the findings from multiple tools without needing to have a centralized view, which has prioritized it more efficiently."
"ArmorCode is very effective software that reduces human effort and saves time, has a huge impact on the company's revenue and profit, and we deliver everything on time to the client because of ArmorCode."
"The best features of Wiz Code that I appreciate the most include their entire dashboarding and the seamless integration with different DevOps tooling like GitHub or Azure DevOps, allowing you to run scanners directly onto the machines without consuming too many resources, and the recategorization of vulnerabilities is absolutely wonderful, giving you a complete attack path, which is something I love about Wiz Code because it details the entire lateral movement of the issue, whether it is a complete shift-left or shift-right, serving as the differentiators compared to other tools in the market."
"Wiz Code is a platform that serves most of these features as a single entity, which has definitely reduced the time for triaging the security aspects of vulnerabilities and helps in overall innovation for the team."
"Overall, Wiz Code is a very good tool to use in any organization, whether mid-level or high-level, and it is very useful and user-friendly for employees."
"Using Wiz Code has been a worthy investment, as manually checking all 100 AWS accounts for issues would take an immense amount of time, but Wiz Code allows us to scan all accounts within minutes and continuously monitors our cloud environment every 24 hours, displaying any changes in the Wiz Code UI under the issues and threats section."
"From the CNAPP focus, it has been serving me exceptionally with zero failure rate since I've been using it."
"Wiz Code offers minimum false positive vulnerabilities, which is the best feature and meets expectations for the tool."
"The best features with Wiz Code give you a reasonable picture when it comes to vulnerabilities, which means you see the usual severity levels, you also get to see references on how to remediate vulnerabilities, and the fact that it has a visual dashboard helps all stakeholders, especially folks who need to remediate, to get that picture correctly and then take action."
"Before Wiz Code, the security team manually correlated the cloud assets, vulnerabilities, IAM permissions, and internet exposure, with critical issues identified in five days, but now, with the security graph automatically correlating findings, critical issues are identified in 30 minutes, resulting in a 90 percent plus reduction in investigation effort."

Cons

"The negative aspects or areas for improvement in the product include the fact that the cost might be a bit high, which challenges commercials, but not technically."
"Some aspects of the GUI can be confusing and make it difficult for me to find certain options or navigate where needed."
"Overall, I rate Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks as an eight out of ten. I think that it could improve on price, as I know that the Google solution has the best price, and this is one of the conditions."
"Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks is not the cheapest solution in the market, but I know that is the best solution for SOC and Cloud once have all tools to connect cloud issues with SOC procedures, because we are partners with T-Systems."
"As per my experience with Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks, the UI could be simpler."
"Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks is creating some confusion in terms of names because this is recent."
"In my opinion, Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks can be improved by addressing forensic information collection and storage, although I cannot suggest specific things right now, based on what customers might need."
"My thoughts about improving the product which I believe could greatly aid vendors is that it used to be a very user-friendly tool, but now they have incorporated everything under one umbrella."

"Improvements could include more AI-powered remediation guidance, improved developer experience, enhanced predictive risk analysis, strong cloud-native visibility such as Kubernetes, custom reporting, and dashboards including custom risk scorecards, team-specific dashboards, and faster onboarding and setup of new security tools."
"Wiz Code has many features, and I think they could continue to enhance customization according to our requirements."
"Wiz Code could be improved by showing us the dependencies that are affecting us; if we are upgrading one dependency, it would be helpful to know if down the road that's going to cause any problems with other dependencies."
"The dashboards can be better; we have dashboards, but they are really complex and have a lot of information."
"Metadata ingestion and probably the integration of Wiz Code platform is something which is missing."
"Timely responses from customer support for Wiz Code are not being received. Service requests are raised, but proper responses are not provided."
"I rate the accuracy and reliability as good, but not yet at a level where I trust it without validation."
