Enabling efficient management with quick deployment and cost-effective solutions while needing improved support
I assess the value of Arcserve Backup's integration with multiple operating systems to be effective only for deploying the agent, as we deploy the agent and take the backup from the backup server only. I face no issues in terms of integration with Arcserve Backup. I do use Arcserve Backup's deduplication and compression features. These features help optimize storage resources by erasing duplicate data from the storage, so if we have two or three TB storage, it will take backup around three to four months. Regarding the disaster recovery feature of Arcserve Backup, we only do a simple one server disaster recovery feature. In terms of hybrid deployment scenarios, we have mostly done this in a Windows environment, with a small amount done in Linux. On a scale from one to ten, I rate Arcserve Backup a nine.
