Acronis Cyber Protect and Druva inSync are both players in the data protection market, tailored for different needs. Acronis Cyber Protect stands out for its strong backup and cyber protection features, making it a versatile option across varied environments. In contrast, Druva inSync excels in cloud-native endpoint backup with robust collaboration tools.
Features: Acronis Cyber Protect offers robust backup capabilities, universal restore features, and extensive cyber protection. It supports physical, virtual, and cloud environments, providing flexibility in deployment. Druva inSync provides strong cloud integration, focusing on endpoint backup and offering notable features like data governance and collaboration tools.
Room for Improvement: Acronis Cyber Protect could enhance integration with databases and simplify its user interface while reducing complexity during setup. Some users report the need for a more modern interface. Druva inSync might address issues with high pricing, which may impede adoption among smaller businesses. Improving system performance during backups could also be beneficial.
Ease of Deployment and Customer Service: Acronis Cyber Protect supports diverse deployment options, including on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Customer feedback highlights mixed experiences with technical support and response times. Druva inSync, tailored for cloud-only deployments, simplifies deployment but lacks on-premises options. While it’s praised for user-friendliness, support response times have faced criticism.
Pricing and ROI: Acronis Cyber Protect offers various licensing structures appealing to different business sizes, balancing cost with feature sets, though some configurations are higher-priced. Druva inSync presents a straightforward licensing model yet is perceived as costly, particularly for SMEs. Despite price concerns, both solutions deliver positive ROI by minimizing data loss risks and facilitating rapid recovery.
My customers see value in money and ROI with Acronis Cyber Protect, so they purchase it.
The organization has experienced ROI from Druva inSync through bandwidth saving, storage, and manpower optimization.
Whenever I have a question, they respond very quickly each time.
I'll give them a nine for how responsive they are in technical support.
We go to our control system OEM for support, including backup, restoration, and cybersecurity protocols.
The technical support from Druva inSync deserves a rating of 10.
Acronis Cyber Protect is a scalable product.
I would rate it eight on a scale from 1 to 10 for scalability, considering it will be multiple assets.
The scalability of Druva inSync deserves a rating of 10.
It ended up being at a point where we actually had to disable some features in order for the client to work through that specific purpose.
The stability of Acronis Cyber Protect is very high.
We are not very comfortable with cloud-based solutions at this time. We are looking for products which are entirely on-premises, so they remain within our control.
It's only after we discovered there was a compatibility issue with the application that the client was running that we actually had to do a lot of log file shipping to Acronis themselves and getting solutions because of other problems.
Having something such as a community for peer-to-peer interaction would be a valuable asset.
To make Druva inSync better, they can implement additional DLP.
In the next release, I would like to see additional features and functionalities that focus more on AI functionality, similar to what other vendors offer.
I would rate the price as nine out of ten.
From my perspective, Druva inSync is reasonably priced.
The biggest benefit of Acronis Cyber Protect for my customers is that it is a great asset to protect business data and ensure data is in a secure Vault.
It also encrypts your backups and makes it safe, so it doesn't get affected with viruses.
This is beneficial because any backup package stored in the cloud is not free, and if it shrinks well, it allows users to pay less for cloud storage.
The solution provides significant ROI through bandwidth saving, storage, and manpower optimization.
