Secure omnichannel campaigns have boosted compliance and now optimize predictive outreach
Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect could improve by targeting deeper out-of-the-box integration with modern CRM ecosystems to minimize middleware overhead, alongside more granular, AI-driven automation for real-time compliance adaptation across rapidly changing regional privacy laws. Streamlining the initial synchronization setup between Amazon Connect queue configurations and the campaign groups would also significantly reduce administrative friction during deployment. Improving the user interface to offer more customizable drag-and-drop dashboards with widgets for real-time campaign monitoring would streamline daily supervision. Additionally, expanding native reporting with deeper predictive analytics and more flexible export options would simplify metric sharing. Enhanced documentation and faster response times for technical support would accelerate troubleshooting of complex integration bottlenecks. Further optimization for Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect could include deeper native support for multi-region active-active synchronization configuration and more flexible, low-code workflow builders for designing custom compliance triggers directly inside the campaign management interface.

To improve the reporting, it would be beneficial to provide better visualization of the data. Currently, you typically have to take the data out into another service to make it readable and understandable. It would be easier if it were available in that format from the start. Amazon Connect should continue to develop the AI capability within the platform and improve the performance of the AI features, as they are still relatively new and the performance can sometimes be inconsistent. Additionally, there are a number of basic features that could potentially be continued to be improved. The pricing and licensing of Amazon Connect are not licensed. The pricing is consumption-based with two pricing models: one called the AI pricing model and the other called basic. Amazon Connect should provide greater clarity for customers on the pros and cons of its pricing, as some customers might end up paying more than they should if they do not understand it properly. I believe Amazon Connect should add more information on how the pricing works. It is available publicly, which is good. However, when you turn on Amazon Connect, you immediately start using the AI pricing bundle, which may not be the most appropriate for some customers, resulting in them paying nearly twice as much as they should.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect has positively impacted my organization by significantly increasing agent productivity by slashing idle time through predictive dialing while boosting contact rates using Best Time to Call analytics."
"With Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect, it was only one percent of that staffing need and we completed off-boarding within six months, whereas otherwise it might have easily taken us two to three years, really saving us a lot of money and making it worth the investment."
"Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect positively impacts my organization by automating the campaign and the sending of emails and pop-up messages based on the status of the customers who have not obtained a debit card, and I see a benefit for my team as it was not necessary to keep track or manually do work, which was automated by Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect."
"The product is cloud-based and easy to operate. We have a broad integration capability, allowing for a multitude of integrations. This gives our customers a good understanding of our product, even if they aren't actively utilizing it. They can easily access and utilize all the features that Amazon's cloud services offer, making integrating with other cloud platforms simpler. It's not a standalone solution, which is advantageous for our customers."
"Amazon Connect is easy to learn."
"Setting up a call center and onboarding agents is easy using Amazon Connect."
"There are a lot of features with Amazon Connect. One is the pay-as-you-go model. I don't have to buy any infrastructure or servers, licenses, or contracts. From a financial point of view, there's no upfront capital expenditure (capex) cost. Everything is pay-as-you-go."
"We utilize Amazon Connect to handle customer service interactions, particularly in projects where we provide professional services. For example, when developing an application, we typically set up EC2 instances on AWS. Then, to facilitate communication within our clients' internal networks, we establish connections through Amazon Connect."
"Amazon Connect is an integrated solution, which is attractive because a customer doesn't have to worry about which product to buy; they buy one product and that gives them everything."
"The stability of the application and the services of Amazon Connect is very good, especially when it integrates with Lex, making the customer service solution more efficient."
"Amazon Connect enhances customer experience by reducing operating costs due to its cloud-based pay-as-you-go model."

Cons

"I think Acqueon Engagement for Amazon Connect can be improved by making the user interface easier to read."
"Enhanced documentation and faster response times for technical support would accelerate troubleshooting of complex integration bottlenecks."
"The technical support from AWS is average. It is average because not every time I find a solution."
"There are issues on features like Lambda integrations and time-out"
"There is room for improvement in certain areas of Amazon Connect. For example, regarding holiday scheduling, the platform lacks a specific feature to declare holidays for companies on fixed dates. While basic hours and weekly schedules can be set, there's no option for declaring specific dates like national holidays. Basic scheduling options exist, but users must rely on Lambda functions for more complex rules and logic."
"However, the key thing lacking is the scope of out-of-the-box reporting capabilities, though overall it is very good."
"Support for Amazon Connect is adequate. I won't say it's exceptional about the support, but you can get assistance whenever it is needed."
"There are two perspectives to consider: one from the development side and the other from the customer's side. From a development standpoint, there are various aspects that Amazon needs to address, such as providing tools or direct development scenarios in Amazon Connect for building contact flows. Some essential reporting features in Genesys are currently lacking in the product."
"I would like to see a cold transfer capability instead of only offering a warm transfer."
"Amazon Connect should enhance its native agent desktop. Intuitive UI should be present for the agent desktop. Currently, it forces users to rely on third-party CRM integrations. Predominantly, there is no support for full-fledged customization for the native agent desktop. More customization options for the native desktop would be beneficial."

However, the cost can be low if you have a smaller team of agents or receive fewer calls. Pricing is typically based on a per-user basis."
