Fortra's Automate has effectively replaced the workload of an entire employee, saving us significant time and money.
It has reduced our expenditures in terms of purchasing more products and employing more technicians.
I've seen a good return on investment with Automate, as it streamlines processes and improves my productivity.
The cost is a concern, and there are more affordable alternatives like hyperscalers such as Azure.

ABBYY Vantage support varies in responsiveness and cost, with mixed feedback on timeliness, communication, and technical guidance.
Sentiment score

IQ Bot customer service is helpful and responsive, though response times and quality can vary based on contract type.
They don't always understand the processes I'm trying to implement.
I would rate the technical support as a nine out of ten because it is quite fast and courteous.
They are very responsive and have been able to resolve any issues I have encountered.
Their response time could be improved, especially for new issues not found in the community version.

Sentiment score
7.5
IQ Bot is scalable, adaptable across businesses, with cloud-enhanced flexibility, handling demand while maintaining performance despite some concerns.
It is easy to increase one bot or one studio without needing to buy another orchestrator, which can be quite expensive.
The scalability is very good, but it depends on how the bots are coded.

Automate is generally stable and reliable, though performance varies with task intensity and some users report occasional issues.
Sentiment score
7.9
ABBYY Vantage is generally stable with minor bugs; performance varies by configuration and hardware, with good support responsiveness.
Sentiment score
9.0
Users find IQ Bot reliable and satisfactory, but it requires high-quality inputs and improvements for diverse PDF formats.
It has very robust features, and it is not prone to instability.
The stability of Fortra's Automate is excellent.
The stability is good and consistent, with no fluctuations in functioning.
It works well with systems like JDE and Mainframes.

Room For Improvement

Automate needs improvements in web automation, UI complexity, security, third-party integration, cloud functionality, and documentation for better user experience.
ABBYY Vantage users face integration challenges, desire enhanced language support, intuitive interfaces, lower costs, and better documentation.
IQ Bot requires intelligence upgrades, better integration, usability, cost efficiency, support for handwritten documents, and enhanced scalability.
I would prefer not having to log in to update a ticket; being able to respond via email would be beneficial.
Integration with Amazon S3 is somewhat lacking.
I find that most important features are strong, however, there is a lack of good development for artificial intelligence, such as machine learning.
Simplifying workflow creation by chatting with the system rather than dragging and dropping elements would make the platform more user-friendly, especially for non-technical users.
Based on our use cases, handwritten recognition for Arabic is not supported.
The vendor invoice processing skill of ABBYY Vantage could be enhanced by adding more fields that are commonly used across multiple invoices.
This change could help me avoid confusion, especially if applications have similar names or when different pages of the same application are in use.
More flexibility and specific models for specific purposes would be beneficial.

Setup Cost

Automate offers cost-effective RPA solutions with flexible pricing, appealing to enterprises compared to competitors like UiPath and Blue Prism.
ABBYY Vantage's pricing is costly for small users; discounts available for large-scale deployments, with extra support and installation costs.
IQ Bot's pricing is negotiable but high, with annual costs and variable pricing complicating affordability for smaller businesses.
Competitors are often more expensive than Automate.
It offered what we wanted at a good, competitive price.
It does a lot but also costs a lot.
There are other solutions available at a lower cost.
I would say the pricing is in the middle.
The competition, particularly with hyperscalers like Azure and AWS, offers alternatives at one-tenth of the cost.
In my experience, compared to Power Automate, IQ Bot is high-priced, but when compared to UiPath, it is lower priced.

Valuable Features

Automate's intuitive interface and features boost efficiency and productivity, with cost-effective licensing and minimal technical expertise needed.
ABBYY Vantage offers accurate OCR with multilingual support, user-friendly interface, AI integration, and flexible deployment for automated processing.
IQ Bot excels in data extraction, automation, and customization with OCR technology, flexible deployment, and Python scripting capabilities.
Automate's non-reliance on additional orchestrators makes it quite cost-effective.
I find the ease of use from a programming perspective very valuable.
The most valuable features of Fortra's Automate include its FTP functionality and file manipulation capabilities.
The AI capabilities facilitate querying and document classification, and they have good post-processing capabilities.
ABBYY has a very good OCR in both Arabic and English.
ABBYY Vantage has AI features that learn automatically about invoice fields and related functionality.
This feature is particularly useful when dealing with multiple workbooks or Excel sheets, as it prevents confusion about which Excel sheet to use at a particular time.
Automation Anywhere offers a coherent solution with its automation tools, making maintenance easier.

Automates processes efficiently with cost-effective scaling and robust customer support
Web scraping is quite good since it offers a lot of possibilities. Another important feature for me is its compatibility with MBI, the Power that is ISEQUADO Centers. I appreciate the ability to scale and increase the number of bots or studios without additional expense. Automate's non-reliance on additional orchestrators makes it quite cost-effective.

Enables efficient information extraction with strong OCR capabilities
The solution itself is valuable due to its ability to classify and extract information with embedded OCR, which is good. ABBYY has a very good OCR in both Arabic and English. Additionally, they have a new version called Vantage, which is cloud-based. However, we still work with the old version because most of our clients are government entities.
Hilal Paray. - PeerSpot reviewer
Has valuable OCR capabilities and a straightforward setup process
The initial setup is straightforward. Automation Anywhere's cloud-based tools make the deployment process relatively easy compared to other solutions. The on-premises version can be deployed in about a week, as testing is involved. However, deploying the cloud version takes approximately 30 minutes since everything is pre-configured and ready to deploy.
