The AI agent in Hex is excellent for conducting extensive analytics and helps generate insights for our stakeholders, enabling them to make data-driven decisions accurately. I appreciate the guides feature that establishes the context and business logic of my company's data, making it easy for the AI to understand this context. Setting up Hex does not require creating semantic models; you simply provide a database with minimal context and figures, and it determines what to do next.

I find Hex very friendly, particularly in how it fits the workflow of a data analyst, even though I am a data scientist. The connectivity between cells in the notebook functionality is something I appreciate, and I value that Hex can mix SQL and Python while storing all variables and tables to build upon them. The ability to use it with my cloud code via the Hex CLI for scaffolding analysis is beneficial, and I also enjoy the polished design of Hex.

My main use case for Hex is data analytics reporting. I use Hex to gather information from a database and put it into an easily readable, customer-formatted version that can then be shared, updated, and analyzed based on customer needs.

Hex offers excellent features that make it fast and easy to use. The built-in LLM agent allows me to quickly and easily get what I want without having to think about the code. It is smart, receptive, does what I want it to do, and provides consistently great results in a very straightforward way.

What I appreciate most about the LLM agent is that I can use it to gather everything I need in one place without having to think too much about it. I understand enough SQL to write it myself without a problem, but the agent just makes it fast and easy. The formatting makes everything smooth and it all works together very quickly, cutting the time it used to take me to gather this type of reporting in about half.

Hex has impacted my organization positively by making it a lot faster and easier to get everything done. Its reporting is quick and easy, it is all consistent, and it is a fast way to get all the data I need. Since using Hex, I have seen it save me about 20% of the amount of time I would normally put into customer reporting.

I would love to see more proactive recommendations from Hex. It would be nice if I could use an AI review to look over the data and everything I have built to make sure everything looks good, providing another set of eyes on my work.
