Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Other options could not deliver the many applications we needed to deploy.
How was the initial setup?
Initial setup was not entirely straightforward, but there have been many improvements to this process over the last eight years, and new deployments are now straightforward.
I have set up many test systems from scratch over the years.
What about the implementation team?
We set it up through a vendor. They had a high level of expertise.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We evaluated many (eight or so) application virtualisation options, including App-V, ThinApp, and Symantec SVS.
What other advice do I have?
While it does not have a large market share, Numecent's Solution is a fantastic solution. The marketing claims that they can virtualise 100% of applications and as yet I have not been able to disprove this.
(We have over 300 applications deployed via Cloudpaging.)
