Certification functions adequately. However, I think there are limitations with connectors. We do not have many choices for out-of-the-box connectors, especially regarding infrastructure. This creates a problem when managing non-human identities and new human identities such as shared accounts or service accounts.
I was aware of that because I used to manage these solutions earlier on, but it was purchased by the Procurement team, so I was not involved in any of those.There are certain details I may not be able to disclose currently, but we can speak in general about a number of products and tools that are ongoing. I have not been using access management controls here, so I don't have the latest features or details or hands-on experience in that space. I cannot share all the details about the improvements in security operations since we were exploring some products, but I'm familiar with Saviynt as I was one of their partners for other solutions, and currently, I cannot disclose a lot of performance related to my current roles.

We have raised a couple of things on the portal, but I can't recollect the details right now. However, we have added them to the support. I don't have any major issues, and all those issues were solution-related and were taken care of in a timely manner. We have also put our enhancement request, and the SailPoint team has accepted that the feature is not available and plans to include it going forward.
The workflow and user interface of SailPoint are not as smooth as ServiceNow's. I find raising a ticket to be too complex, which could be improved for better user-friendliness. Keeping the workflow as easy as possible would allow users to achieve their goals with more ease.
SailPoint lacks some features like privileged account management and access management features found in products like Okta. The solution could be improved by incorporating these missing features for a more comprehensive identity and access management product.

The pricing could be improved. Another aspect is that IdentityIQ should be more widely available on the cloud, especially in regions like the Middle East where residency issues are present.

The solution needs to have more out-of-the-box integration with different applications and solutions. I would like to see the solution integrated with MFA tools like Gemalto, SafeNet, and One Identity. Many consultancies charge a lot of money for services to implement the solution, which increases the project cost.
The primary difference fundamentally is the state of the identity over time. So, the point-in-time identity drives the identity management, and that will improve the integrity of the identity management. The connectors should be improved.
